1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
1 Ó Deus, ouve o meu grito de angústia! Escuta a minha oração.
2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.
2 No meu desespero, longe do meu lar, eu te chamo pedindo ajuda. Põe-me em segurança numa rocha bem alta,
3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.
3 pois tu és o meu protetor, o meu forte defensor contra os meus inimigos.
4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. Selah
4 Eu te peço que me deixes viver no teu Templo toda a minha vida, para ficar protegido debaixo das tuas asas.
5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.
5 Ó Deus, tu ouviste as minhas promessas e me deste as bênçãos que pertencem aos que te
6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!
6 Dá uma vida longa ao rei; que ele viva muitos e muitos anos!
7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.
7 Que ele governe para sempre com a tua bênção, ó Deus! Protege-o com o teu amor e com a tua fidelidade.
8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
8 Assim eu sempre te cantarei louvores e todos os dias te darei o que tiver prometido.
