1 O God, save me by Thy name, and right me by Thy might.
1 Ó Deus, salva-me, pelo teu nome, e faze-me justiça, pelo teu poder.
2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
2 Escuta, ó Deus, a minha oração, dá ouvidos às palavras da minha boca.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul; they have not set God before them. Selah
3 Pois contra mim se levantam os insolentes, e os violentos procuram tirar-me a vida; não têm Deus diante de si.
4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is for me as the upholder of my soul.
4 Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador, o
5 He will requite the evil unto them that lie in wait for me; destroy Thou them in Thy truth.
5 Ele retribuirá o mal aos meus opressores; por tua fidelidade dá cabo deles.
6 With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto Thee; I will give thanks unto Thy name, O LORD, for it is good.
6 Oferecer-te-ei voluntariamente sacrifícios; louvarei o teu nome, ó
7 For He hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath gazed upon mine enemies.
7 Pois me livrou de todas as tribulações; e os meus olhos se enchem com a ruína dos meus inimigos.
