1 The LORD answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high;
1 O Senhor te ouça no dia da angústia; o nome do Deus de Jacó te proteja.
2 Send forth thy help from the sanctuary, and support thee out of Zion;
2 Envie-te socorro desde o seu santuário e te sustenha desde Sião.
3 Receive the memorial of all thy meal-offerings, and accept the fat of thy burnt-sacrifice; Selah
3 Lembre-se de todas as tuas ofertas e aceite os teus holocaustos. (Selá)
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
4 Conceda-te conforme o teu coração e cumpra todo o teu desígnio.
5 We will shout for joy in thy victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our standards; the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
5 Nós nos alegraremos pela tua salvação e, em nome do nosso Deus, arvoraremos pendões; satisfaça o Senhor todas as tuas petições.
6 Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the mighty acts of His saving right hand.
6 Agora sei que o Senhor salva o seu ungido; ele o ouvirá desde o seu santo céu com a força salvadora da sua destra.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.
7 Uns confiam em carros, e outros, em cavalos, mas nós faremos menção do nome do Senhor , nosso Deus.
8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright.
8 Uns encurvam-se e caem, mas nós nos levantamos e estamos de pé.
9 Save, LORD; let the King answer us in the day that we call.
9 Salva- nos, Senhor ! Ouça-nos o Rei quando clamarmos.
