1 A Psalm of David. I will give Thee thanks with my whole heart, in the presence of the mighty will I sing praises unto Thee.
1 Eu te louvarei, Senhor, de todo o coração; diante dos deuses cantarei louvores a ti.
2 I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks unto Thy name for Thy mercy and for Thy truth; for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.
2 Voltado para o teu santo templo eu me prostrarei e renderei graças ao teu nome, por causa do teu amor e da tua fidelidade; pois exaltaste acima de todas as coisas o teu nome e a tua palavra.
3 In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.
3 Quando clamei, tu me respondeste; deste-me força e coragem.
4 All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Thy mouth.
4 Todos os reis da terra te renderão graças, Senhor, pois saberão das tuas promessas.
5 Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.
5 Celebrarão os feitos do Senhor, pois grande é a glória do Senhor!
6 For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, and the haughty He knoweth from afar.
6 Embora esteja nas alturas, o Senhor olha para os humildes, e de longe reconhece os arrogantes.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou quickenest me; Thou stretchest forth Thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand doth save me.
7 Ainda que eu passe por angústias, tu me preservas a vida da ira dos meus inimigos; estendes a tua mão direita e me livras.
8 The LORD will accomplish that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.
8 O Senhor cumprirá o seu propósito para comigo! Teu amor, Senhor, permanece para sempre; não abandones as obras das tuas mãos!
