1 Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
1 Aleluia! Louvem, ó servos do louvem o nome do
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
2 Bendito seja o nome do Senhor , agora e para sempre.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD'S name is to be praised.
3 Do nascimento do sol até o momento em que se põe, louvado seja o nome do
4 The LORD is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens.
4 Excelso é o Senhor , acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória está acima dos céus.
5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, that is enthroned on high,
5 Quem é semelhante ao Senhor , nosso Deus, cujo trono está nas alturas,
6 That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth?
6 que se inclina para ver o que se passa no céu e sobre a terra?
7 Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
7 Ele levanta o pobre do pó e tira o necessitado do monte de lixo,
8 That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
8 para o fazer sentar ao lado dos príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo.
9 Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
9 O Senhor faz com que a mulher estéril viva em família e seja alegre mãe de filhos. Aleluia!
