¹ Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.

¹ Louvai ao Senhor. Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao Senhor, que em seus mandamentos tem grande prazer!

² His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

² A sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos retos será abençoada.

³ Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.

³ Bens e riquezas há na sua casa; e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.

⁴ Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

⁴ Aos retos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é compassivo, misericordioso e justo.

⁵ Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.

⁵ Ditoso é o homem que se compadece, e empresta, que conduz os seus negócios com justiça;

⁶ For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

⁶ pois ele nunca será abalado; o justo ficará em memória eterna.

⁷ He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.

⁷ Ele não teme más notícias; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor.

⁸ His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.

⁸ O seu coração está bem firmado, ele não terá medo, até que veja cumprido o seu desejo sobre os seus adversários.

⁹ He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.

⁹ Espalhou, deu aos necessitados; a sua justiça subsiste para sempre; o seu poder será exaltado em honra.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
