Levítico 20

1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Moreover, thou shalt say to the children of Israel: Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
2 Novamente dirás aos filhos de Israel: Qualquer pessoa, dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam em Israel, der qualquer parte de sua semente a Moloque, certamente morrerá; o povo da terra o apedrejará com pedras.
3 I also will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile My sanctuary, and to profane My holy name.
3 E eu colocarei a minha face contra esse homem, e o cortarei do meio do seu povo, porque ele deu da sua semente a Moloque, para contaminar o meu santuário, e profanar o meu santo nome.
4 And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and put him not to death;
4 E se o povo da terra de alguma maneira esconder os olhos daquele homem que houver dado da sua semente a Moloque, e o não matar,
5 then I will set My face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go astray after him, to go astray after Molech, from among their people.
5 então, eu colocarei a minha face contra aquele homem e contra a sua família, e o cortarei do meio do seu povo, com todos os que se prostituem após ele, prostituindo-se com Moloque.
6 And the soul that turneth unto the ghosts, and unto the familiar spirits, to go astray after them, I will even set My face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
6 E a alma que se tornar para os espíritos familiares, e feiticeiros, para se prostituir após eles, eu colocarei a minha face contra aquela alma, e a cortarei do meio do seu povo.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am the LORD your God.
7 Santificai-vos, portanto, e sede santos, porque eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus.
8 And keep ye My statutes, and do them: I am the LORD who sanctify you.
8 E vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os cumprireis. Eu sou o SENHOR que vos santifica.
9 For whatsoever man there be that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
9 Pois qualquer um que amaldiçoar seu pai ou sua mãe certamente morrerá: ele amaldiçoou seu pai ou sua mãe; o seu sangue será sobre ele.
10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
10 E o homem que comete adultério com a esposa de outro homem, até aquele que comete adultério com a esposa do seu próximo, o adúltero e a adúltera certamente serão postos à morte.
11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife--he hath uncovered his father's nakedness--both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
11 E o homem que se deitar com a mulher de seu pai descobriu a nudez de seu pai; ambos, certamente, serão postos à morte; o seu sangue será sobre eles.
12 And if a man lie with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have wrought corruption; their blood shall be upon them.
12 Se um homem se deitar com a sua nora, ambos, certamente, serão postos à morte; eles forjaram confusão; o seu sangue será sobre eles.
13 And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
13 Se um homem também se deitar com homem, como ele se deita com uma mulher, ambos cometeram abominação; certamente morrerão; o seu sangue será sobre eles.
14 And if a man take with his wife also her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
14 E se um homem tomar uma mulher e a sua mãe, isto é maldade; eles serão queimados com fogo, tanto ele quanto elas, para que não haja maldade entre vós.
15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death; and ye shall slay the beast.
15 E se um homem se deitar com um animal, ele certamente será posto à morte; e matareis o animal.
16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
16 E se uma mulher aproximar-se de um animal, e deitar-se com ele; tu matarás a mulher, e o animal; eles certamente serão postos à morte; o seu sangue será sobre eles.
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness: it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
17 E se um homem tomar a sua irmã, filha de seu pai, ou filha de sua mãe, e vir a nudez dela, e ela vir a sua, isto é uma coisa perversa, eles serão cortados aos olhos do seu povo; ele descobriu a nudez de sua irmã; ele levará a sua iniquidade.
18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness--he hath made naked her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood--both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
18 E se um homem se deitar com uma mulher que tem a sua enfermidade, e descobrir a sua nudez, ele descobriu a sua fonte, e ela descobriu a fonte de seu sangue, e ambos serão cortados do meio do seu povo.
19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister; for he hath made naked his near kin; they shall bear their iniquity.
19 E tu não descobrirás a nudez da irmã de tua mãe, nem da irmã de teu pai; porquanto descobriu a sua parenta, sobre si levarão a sua iniquidade.
20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife--he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness--they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
20 E se um homem se deitar com a esposa de seu tio, ele descobriu a nudez de seu tio; seu pecado sobre si levarão; sem filhos morrerão.
21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is impurity: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
21 E se um homem tomar a mulher de seu irmão, isto é uma coisa impura; ele descobriu a nudez do seu irmão, eles ficarão sem filhos.
22 Ye shall therefore keep all My statutes, and all Mine ordinances, and do them, that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, vomit you not out.
22 Vós, portanto, guardareis todos os meus estatutos e todos os meus juízos e os cumprireis; para que a terra, para a qual eu vos trago para nela habitar, não vos vomite.
23 And ye shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you; for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
23 E não andareis nos costumes da nação, que eu lanço fora de diante de vós, porque eles cometeram todas estas coisas; portanto, eu as abomino.
24 But I have said unto you: 'Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who have set you apart from the peoples.
24 Mas a vós tenho dito: Vós herdareis a sua terra, e eu a darei a vós para possuí-la, uma terra que flui leite e mel. Eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus, que vos separei de outros povos.
25 Ye shall therefore separate between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean; and ye shall not make your souls detestable by beast, or by fowl, or by any thing wherewith the ground teemeth, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean.
25 Portanto, fareis diferença entre os animais limpos e impuros, e entre as aves impuras e as limpas; e não fareis a vossa alma abominável pelos animais, ou pelas aves, ou por qualquer tipo de coisa viva que se arrasta sobre a terra, as quais eu separei de vós como impuras.
26 And ye shall be holy unto Me; for I the LORD am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that ye should be Mine.
26 E sereis para mim santos, porque eu, o SENHOR, sou santo, e separei-vos dos outros povos, para serdes meus.
27 A man also or a woman that divineth by a ghost or a familiar spirit, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.
27 E também um homem ou uma mulher que tenha um espírito familiar, ou que seja feiticeiro, certamente morrerá; com pedras os apedrejarão; o seu sangue será sobre eles.
