1 THE LORD called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying:
1 E chamou o SENHOR a Moisés, e falou com ele da tenda da congregação, dizendo:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When any man of you bringeth an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd or of the flock.
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando algum de vós oferecer oferta ao Senhor, oferecerá a sua oferta de gado, isto é, de gado vacum e de ovelha.
3 If his offering be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish; he shall bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.
3 Se a sua oferta for holocausto de gado, oferecerá macho sem defeito; à porta da tenda da congregação a oferecerá, de sua própria vontade, perante o Senhor.
4 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
4 E porá a sua mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, para que seja aceito a favor dele, para a sua expiação.
5 And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood, and dash the blood round about against the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.
5 Depois degolará o bezerro perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, oferecerão o sangue, e espargirão o sangue em redor sobre o altar que está diante da porta da tenda da congregação.
6 And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it into its pieces.
6 Então esfolará o holocausto, e o partirá nos seus pedaços.
7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay wood in order upon the fire.
7 E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, porão fogo sobre o altar, pondo em ordem a lenha sobre o fogo.
8 And Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, and the head, and the suet, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar;
8 Também os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, porão em ordem os pedaços, a cabeça e o redenho sobre a lenha que está no fogo em cima do altar;
9 but its inwards and its legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall make the whole smoke on the altar, for a burnt- offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
9 Porém a sua fressura e as suas pernas lavar-se-ão com água; e o sacerdote tudo isso queimará sobre o altar; holocausto é, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.
10 And if his offering be of the flock, whether of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-offering, he shall offer it a male without blemish.
10 E se a sua oferta for de gado miúdo, de ovelhas ou de cabras, para holocausto, oferecerá macho sem defeito.
11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall dash its blood against the altar round about.
11 E o degolará ao lado do altar que dá para o norte, perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, espargirão o seu sangue em redor sobre o altar.
12 And he shall cut it into its pieces; and the priest shall lay them, with its head and its suet, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.
12 Depois o partirá nos seus pedaços, como também a sua cabeça e o seu redenho; e o sacerdote os porá em ordem sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar;
13 But the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall offer the whole, and make it smoke upon the altar; it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
13 Porém a fressura e as pernas lavar-se-ão com água; e o sacerdote tudo oferecerá, e o queimará sobre o altar; holocausto é, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.
14 And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.
14 E se a sua oferta ao Senhor for holocausto de aves, oferecerá a sua oferta de rolas ou de pombinhos;
15 And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and pinch off its head, and make it smoke on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
15 E o sacerdote a oferecerá sobre o altar, e tirar-lhe-á a cabeça, e a queimará sobre o altar; e o seu sangue será espremido na parede do altar;
16 And he shall take away its crop with the feathers thereof, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.
16 E o seu papo com as suas penas tirará e o lançará junto ao altar, para o lado do oriente, no lugar da cinza;
17 And he shall rend it by the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder; and the priest shall make it smoke upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire; it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
17 E fendê-la-á junto às suas asas, porém não a partirá; e o sacerdote a queimará em cima do altar sobre a lenha que está no fogo; holocausto é, oferta queimada de cheiro suave ao Senhor.
