1 And he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tent.
1 Então, me levou ao templo e mediu os pilares, seis côvados de largura de um lado e seis de largura do outro, que era a largura do tabernáculo.
2 And the breadth of the entrance was ten cubits; and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side; and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.
2 A largura da entrada: dez côvados; os lados da entrada: cinco côvados de um lado e cinco do outro; também mediu a profundidade da entrada: quarenta côvados, e a largura: vinte côvados.
3 Then went he inward, and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the breadth of the entrance, seven cubits.
3 Penetrou e mediu o pilar da entrada: dois côvados, a altura da entrada: seis côvados, e a largura da entrada: sete côvados.
4 And he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple; and he said unto me: 'This is the most holy place.'
4 Também mediu o seu comprimento: vinte côvados, e a largura: vinte côvados, diante do templo, e me disse: Este é o Santo dos Santos.
5 Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side-chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
5 Então, mediu a parede do templo: seis côvados, e a largura de cada câmara lateral: quatro côvados, por todo o redor do templo.
6 And the side-chambers were one over another, three and thirty times; and there were cornices in the wall which belonged to the house for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold therein, and not have hold in the wall of the house.
6 As câmaras laterais estavam em três andares, câmara sobre câmara, trinta em cada andar; e havia reentrâncias na parede do templo ao redor, para as câmaras laterais, para que as vigas se apoiassem nelas e não fossem introduzidas na parede do templo.
7 And the side-chambers were broader as they wound about higher and higher; for the winding about of the house went higher and higher round about the house; therefore the breadth of the house continued upward; and so one went up from the lowest row to the highest by the middle.
7 As câmaras laterais aumentavam em largura de andar para andar, correspondendo às reentrâncias do templo de andar em andar ao redor; daí ter o templo mais largura em cima. Assim, se subia do andar inferior para o superior pelo intermediário.
8 I saw also that the house had a raised basement round about; the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six cubits to the joining.
8 E vi um pavimento elevado ao redor do templo; eram os fundamentos das câmaras laterais de uma cana inteira, isto é, de seis côvados de altura.
9 The breadth of the outer wall which belonged to the side-chambers was five cubits; and so that which was left by the structure of the side-chambers that belonged to the house.
9 A grossura da parede das câmaras laterais de fora era de cinco côvados; e a área aberta entre as câmaras laterais, que estavam junto ao templo
10 And between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
10 e às células, tinha a largura de vinte côvados por todo o redor do templo.
11 And the doors of the side-chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south; and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
11 As entradas das câmaras laterais estavam voltadas para a área aberta: uma entrada para o norte e outra para o sul; a largura da área aberta era de cinco côvados em redor.
12 And the building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
12 O edifício que estava numa área separada, do lado ocidental, tinha a largura de setenta côvados; a parede do edifício era de cinco côvados de largura em redor, e o seu comprimento, de noventa côvados.
13 And he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, a hundred cubits long;
13 Assim, mediu o templo: cem côvados de comprimento, como também a área separada, o edifício e as suas paredes: cem côvados de comprimento.
14 also the breadth of the face of the house and of the separate place toward the east, a hundred cubits.
14 A largura da frente oriental do templo e da área separada, de uma e de outra parte: cem côvados.
15 And he measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at the back thereof, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits. Now the temple, and the inner place, and the porches of the court,
15 Também mediu o comprimento do edifício, que estava na área separada e por detrás do templo, e as suas galerias de uma e de outra parte: cem côvados. O templo propriamente dito, o Santíssimo e o vestíbulo do átrio eram apainelados.
16 the jambs, and the narrow windows, and the galleries, that they three had round about, over against the jambs there was a veneering of wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows; and the windows were covered;
16 As janelas, de fasquias fixas superpostas, estavam ao redor dos três lugares. Dentro, as paredes estavam cobertas de madeira em redor, e isto desde o chão até às janelas, que estavam cobertas.
17 to the space above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and on all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
17 No espaço em cima da porta, e até ao templo de dentro e de fora, e em toda a parede em redor, por dentro e por fora, havia obras de escultura,
18 And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees; and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;
18 querubins e palmeiras, de sorte que cada palmeira estava entre querubim e querubim, e cada querubim tinha dois rostos,
19 so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side; thus was it made through all the house round about.
19 a saber, um rosto de homem olhava para a palmeira de um lado, e um rosto de leãozinho, para a palmeira do outro lado; assim se fez pela casa toda ao redor.
20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubim and palm-trees made; and so on the wall of the temple.
20 Desde o chão até acima da entrada estavam feitos os querubins e as palmeiras, como também pela parede do templo.
21 As for the temple, the jambs were squared; and the face of the sanctuary had an appearance such as is the appearance.
21 As ombreiras do templo eram quadradas, e, no tocante à entrada do Santo dos Santos, era esta da mesma aparência.
22 The altar, three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits, was of wood, and so the corners thereof; the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were also of wood; and he said unto me: 'This is the table that is before the LORD.'
22 O altar de madeira era de três côvados de altura, e o seu comprimento, de dois côvados; os seus cantos, a sua base e as suas paredes eram de madeira; e o homem me disse: Esta é a mesa que está perante o Senhor .
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
23 O templo e o Santíssimo, ambos tinham duas portas.
24 And the doors had two leaves apiece , two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other.
24 Havia duas folhas para as portas, duas folhas dobráveis; duas para cada porta.
25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick beams of wood upon the face of the porch without.
25 Nelas, isto é, nas portas do templo, foram feitos querubins e palmeiras, como estavam feitos nas paredes, e havia um baldaquino de madeira na frontaria do vestíbulo por fora.
26 And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch; there were also the brackets of the house, and the thick beams.
26 E havia janelas de fasquias fixas superpostas e palmeiras, em ambos os lados do vestíbulo, como também nas câmaras laterais do templo e no baldaquino.
