1 Teĩgue ju Jesus mba'emo re ombojoja vy ijayvu. Ha'e vy aipoe'i ha'e kuery pe:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 — Yva pygua po'akaa py oiko 'rã peteĩ huvixave ta'y omendaa py ngaru ojapo va'e rami avi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ha'e gui guembiguai kuery omondouka omombe'u aguã omendaa py ou va'erã va'e pe ou aguã, teĩ ha'e kuery ndouxei.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Amboae guembiguai ju omondouka po rami ijayvu reve: “Aipo're ke aenoĩ va'e kuery pe: ‘Areko katupa ma ngaru. Xerymba vaka ha'e vaka ra'y ikyra va'e ajuka, ha'e javi oĩmba ma. Peju ke ngaru oĩa py’, 're 'rã.”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 — Ha'e rami teĩ ha'e kuery ndoikuaa potai vy oje'oipa. Peteĩ oo omba'ety katy, ha'e rã amboae ma vendeaty katy oo.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Amboae kuery ma tembiguai kuery ojopy vy ojavyky rei, ojuka guive.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ha'e ramo huvixave ipoxy. Ha'e vy xondaro kuery ju omondouka vy ojuka ukapa jojukaare kuery, ha'e omoendy uka ha'e kuery retã.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 — Ha'e rire guembiguai kuery pe ju aipoe'i: “Areko katupa ma ngaru teĩ aenoĩ uka va'ekue ma nda'evei amovaẽ aguã.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ha'e rami ri rã tapeo tape pia ikuai va'e rupi, peovaexĩ va'e rei penoĩ omendaa py ou aguã”, he'i imondovy.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ha'e ramo tembiguai kuery tape rupi oje'oi vy omboaty ojou va'e ha'e javi, heko porã ha'e heko vai va'e guive. Ha'e rã opy okaru aguã py tynyẽ oenoĩ va'ekue.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 — Ha'e gui huvixave oike vy mesa py ikuai va'e oexapa. Oexa avi peteĩ ava omendaa pygua ao py e'ỹ onhemonde va'e.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Ha'e vy oporandu ixupe: “Xeirũ, mba'exa tu apy reike omendaa pygua ao remoĩ e'ỹ re?” he'i ramo ha'e va'e nombovai.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 — Ha'e ramo huvixave aipoe'i guembiguai kuery pe: “Pejokua ipo ha'e ipy, ha'e pemombo oka katy pytũa py”, he'i. Ha'e py ma ojae'opaa ha'e opa marã onhendua 'rã.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Mba'eta heta 'rã oenoĩa, ha'e rã mbovy'i 'rã oiporavoa.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Ha'e ramo fariseu kuery ojepe'a vy joo meme oikuaa pota okuapy marã rami vy pa omoĩ vai aguã re ayvu py.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Jesus ha'e kuery ija'e e'ỹa oikuaa vy aipoe'i:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Pexa uka ha'vy xevy peteĩ hatã'i va'e imposto peguarã — he'i. Ha'e ramo ixupe ogueru peteĩ hatã'i va'e.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ha'e rã oporandu ha'e kuery pe:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ombovai okuapy:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jesus aipoe'i ha'e kuery pe:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Mba'eta onhemboetepa ju va'ekue ma nomendaavei, neĩ nanhomomendaavei ma 'rã guive. Ha'e rami 'rãgue py anjo kuery rami 'rã ikuai yva re.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Ha'e gui omanoague gui onhemboetepa ju 'rãa re ndaperoayvui teve Nhanderuete pendevy aipoe'iague:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “Xee ma Abraão, Isaque ha'e Jacó Ruete aiko” he'iague? Ha'e ramo ma omanogue Ruete e'ỹ oiko, ha'e rã oikove va'e Ruete — he'i.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Jesus ombovai:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ha'e va'e rire ma po rami ju: “Reayvu 'rã neirũ kuery ndee ae rejeayvua rami”, he'i va'e.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Pova'e mokoĩ ojapo uka pyre guigua ma lei ha'e profeta kuery nhombo'eague ha'e javi — he'i.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Fariseu kuery ijatypa rã Jesus oporandu ha'e kuery pe:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 — Mba'exa tu peikuaa Cristo oikoa? Mava'e ramymino tu oiko?
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jesus aipoe'i:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “Senhor aipoe'i xe-Senhor pe: ‘Eguapy ke aiporu kuaa regua re, ndepy guýry nderovaigua kuery amoĩ e'ỹa ja’, he'i raka'e.”
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Ha'e rami vy Davi voi “Senhor” he'i ixupe. Mba'exa tu ha'vy hamymino avi ri oiko? — he'i.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
