1 Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.
1 Tive mais uma visão. Vi dois montes feitos de bronze, e do meio deles estavam saindo quatro carros de guerra.
2 In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,
2 O primeiro carro era puxado por cavalos vermelhos; o segundo, por cavalos pretos;
3 And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.
3 o terceiro, por cavalos brancos; e o quarto, por cavalos baios.
4 Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?
4 Perguntei ao anjo: — Meu senhor, o que são estes carros de guerra?
5 And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.
5 Ele respondeu: — São os quatro ventos, que estão saindo da presença do Senhor do mundo inteiro.
6 That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.
6 O carro puxado pelos cavalos pretos vai para a Babilônia, a terra do Norte; o carro puxado pelos cavalos brancos vai para a terra do Oeste; e o carro puxado pelos cavalos baios vai para a terra do Sul.
7 And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.
7 Os cavalos baios saíram, com vontade de correr pelo mundo inteiro. Então o anjo ordenou: — Vão e corram pelo mundo inteiro! E eles fizeram isso.
8 Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.
8 Aí o anjo me chamou e disse: — Os cavalos que foram para a terra do Norte vão fazer parar a
9 And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
9 O Senhor Deus falou comigo. Ele disse:
10 Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.
10 — Vá receber as ofertas feitas por Heldai, Tobias e Jedaías, que voltaram do cativeiro na Babilônia. Depois, vá logo até a casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias,
11 Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
11 com a prata e o ouro que você tiver recebido e faça uma coroa. Coloque a coroa na cabeça do Grande Sacerdote Josué, filho de Jozadaque.
12 And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.
12 E diga a ele que o Senhor Todo-Poderoso promete o seguinte: “O homem chamado de ‘Ramo Novo’ brotará das suas próprias raízes e construirá de novo o Templo do Senhor .
13 Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
13 É ele que vai reconstruir o Templo e receber as honrarias que pertencem a um rei. Ele vai sentar no seu trono e reinar. Um sacerdote se sentará no seu próprio trono, e haverá uma paz perfeita entre ‘O Ramo Novo’ e esse sacerdote.”
14 And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.
14 Mas depois a coroa será colocada no Templo do Senhor em memória de Heldai, de Tobias, de Jedaías e de Josias, filho de Sofonias.
15 And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
15 Pessoas que moram longe de Jerusalém virão ajudar a construir de novo o Templo do Senhor . Aí vocês saberão que o Senhor Todo-Poderoso me enviou a vocês. Tudo isso acontecerá se obedecerem com todo o coração às leis do Senhor , o Deus de vocês.
