1 And he shewed mee Iehoshua the hie Priest, standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan stoode at his right hand to resist him.
1 Em outra visão, Deus me mostrou o Grande Sacerdote Josué, que estava de pé em frente do Anjo do Senhor . Satanás estava à direita de Josué, pronto para acusá-lo.
2 And the Lord said vnto Satan, The Lord reprooue thee, O Satan: euen the Lord that hath chosen Ierusalem, reprooue thee. Is not this a brand taken out of the fire?
2 O Anjo do Senhor disse a Satanás: — Que Deus o condene, Satanás! Que o
3 Nowe Iehoshua was clothed with filthie garments, and stoode before the Angel.
3 Josué, vestido com roupas sujas, continuava de pé em frente do Anjo.
4 And he answered and spake vnto those that stoode before him, saying, Take away the filthie garments from him. And vnto him hee saide, Behold, I haue caused thine iniquitie to depart from thee, and I wil clothe thee with change of raiment.
4 Aí o Anjo disse aos seus ajudantes que tirassem a roupa de Josué e depois lhe disse: — Assim eu tiro os seus pecados e agora vou vesti-lo com roupas de festa.
5 And I saide, Let them set a faire diademe vpon his head. So they set a faire diademe vpon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the Angel of the Lord stoode by.
5 Em seguida, o Anjo mandou que os seus ajudantes pusessem na cabeça de Josué um turbante que havia sido purificado . Eles puseram o turbante na cabeça dele e o vestiram com roupas de festa; e o Anjo do Senhor continuava ali de pé.
6 And the Angel of the Lord testified vnto Iehoshua, saying,
6 E ele disse a Josué:
7 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, If thou wilt walke in my wayes, and keepe my watch, thou shalt also iudge mine House, and shalt also keepe my courtes, and I will giue thee place among these that stand by.
7 — O Senhor Todo-Poderoso lhe diz o seguinte: “Se você obedecer às minhas leis e cumprir os seus deveres conforme eu ordeno, você será o administrador do Templo. Cuidará do santuário e de todos os outros edifícios; e, como estes anjos que estão aqui, você terá o mesmo direito de estar na minha presença.
8 Heare now, O Iehoshua the hie Priest, thou and thy fellowes that sit before thee: for they are monstruous persons: but behold, I wil bring forth the Branche my seruant.
8 Portanto, escute, Grande Sacerdote Josué, e escutem também os sacerdotes que estão com você. Vocês todos são um sinal de que eu vou enviar ao meu povo o meu servo que se chama ‘Ramo Novo’.
9 For loe, the stone that I haue layd before Iehoshua: vpon one stone shalbe seuen eyes: beholde, I will cut out the grauing thereof, saith the Lord of hostes, and I will take away the iniquitie of this land in one day.
9 Coloquei em frente de Josué uma pedra que tinha sete lados. Eu, o Senhor Todo-Poderoso, vou gravar nela um nome e num só dia vou tirar o pecado deste país.
10 In that day, saith the Lord of hostes, shall ye call euery man his neighbour vnder the vine, and vnder the figge tree.
10 Naquele dia, cada um de vocês poderá convidar os vizinhos para que venham e fiquem à vontade debaixo das parreiras e das figueiras. Eu, o Senhor Todo-Poderoso, falei.”
