¹ A Psalme. Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: for hee hath done marueilous things: his right hand, and his holy arme haue gotten him the victorie.

¹ Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, porque ele operou maravilhas. Sua mão e seu santo braço lhe deram a vitória.

² The Lord declared his saluation: his righteousnes hath he reueiled in the sight of ye nations.

² O Senhor fez conhecer a sua salvação. Manifestou sua justiça à face dos povos.

³ He hath remembred his mercy and his trueth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth haue seene the saluation of our God.

³ Lembrou-se de sua bondade e de sua fidelidade em favor da casa de Israel. Os confins da terra puderam ver a salvação de nosso Deus.

⁴ All the earth, sing ye loude vnto the Lord: crie out and reioyce, and sing prayses.

⁴ Aclamai o Senhor, povos todos da terra; regozijai-vos, alegrai-vos e cantai.

⁵ Sing prayse to the Lord vpon the harpe, euen vpon the harpe with a singing voyce.

⁵ Salmodiai ao Senhor com a cítara, ao som do saltério e com a lira.

⁶ With shalmes and sound of trumpets sing loude before the Lord the King.

⁶ Com a tuba e a trombeta elevai aclamações na presença do Senhor rei.

⁷ Let the sea roare, and all that therein is, the world, and they that dwell therein.

⁷ Estruja o mar e tudo o que contém, o globo inteiro e os que nele habitam.

⁸ Let the floods clap their hands, and let the mountaines reioyce together

⁸ Que os rios aplaudam, que as montanhas exultem em brados de alegria

⁹ Before the Lord: for he is come to iudge the earth: with righteousnesse shall hee iudge the world, and the people with equitie.

⁹ diante do Senhor que chega, porque ele vem para governar a terra. Ele governará a terra com justiça, e os povos com eqüidade.
