1 A Psalme committed to Aspah. God standeth in the assemblie of gods: hee iudgeth among gods.
1 Salmo de Asaf. Levanta-se Deus na assembléia divina, entre os deuses profere o seu julgamento.
2 How long wil ye iudge vniustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
2 Até quando julgareis iniquamente, favorecendo a causa dos ímpios?
3 Doe right to the poore and fatherlesse: doe iustice to the poore and needie.
3 Defendei o oprimido e o órfão, fazei justiça ao humilde e ao pobre,
4 Deliuer the poore and needie: saue them from the hand of the wicked.
4 livrai o oprimido e o necessitado, tirai-o das garras dos ímpios.
5 They knowe not and vnderstand nothing: they walke in darkenes, albeit all the foundations of the earth be mooued.
5 Eles não querem saber nem compreender, andam nas trevas, vacilam os fundamentos da terra.
6 I haue said, Ye are gods, and ye all are children of the most High.
6 Eu disse: Sois deuses, sois todos filhos do Altíssimo.
7 But ye shall die as a man, and yee princes, shall fall like others.
7 Contudo, morrereis como simples homens e, como qualquer príncipe, caireis.
8 O God, arise, therefore iudge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherite all nations.
8 Levantai-vos, Senhor, para julgar a terra, porque são vossas todas as nações.
