¹ Conhecido é Deus em Judá, grande é o seu nome em Israel.

² For in Shalem is his Tabernacle, and his dwelling in Zion.

² Em Salém está a sua tenda, e a sua morada em Sião.

³ There brake he the arrowes of the bowe, the shielde and the sword and the battell. Selah.

³ Ali quebrou ele as flechas do arco, o escudo, a espada, e a guerra.

⁴ Thou art more bright and puissant, then the mountaines of pray.

⁴ Glorioso és tu, mais majestoso do que os montes eternos.

⁵ The stout hearted are spoyled: they haue slept their sleepe, and all the men of strength haue not found their hands.

⁵ Os ousados de coração foram despojados; dormiram o seu último sono; nenhum dos homens de força pôde usar as mãos.

⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe.

⁶ À tua repreensão, ó Deus de Jacó, cavaleiros e cavalos ficaram estirados sem sentidos.

⁷ Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!

⁷ Tu, sim, tu és tremendo; e quem subsistirá à tua vista, quando te irares?

⁸ Thou didest cause thy iudgement to bee heard from heauen: therefore the earth feared and was still,

⁸ Desde o céu fizeste ouvir o teu juízo; a terra tremeu e se aquietou,

⁹ When thou, O God, arose to iudgement, to helpe all the meeke of the earth. Selah.

⁹ quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para salvar a todos os mansos da terra.

¹⁰ Surely the rage of man shall turne to thy praise: the remnant of the rage shalt thou restrayne.

¹⁰ Na verdade a cólera do homem redundará em teu louvor, e do restante da cólera tu te cingirás.

¹¹ Vowe and performe vnto the Lord your God, all ye that be rounde about him: let them bring presents vnto him that ought to be feared.

¹¹ Fazei votos, e pagai-os ao Senhor, vosso Deus; tragam presentes, os que estão em redor dele, àquele que deve ser temido.

¹² He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the Kings of the earth.

¹² Ele ceifará o espírito dos príncipes; é tremendo para com os reis da terra.
