1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
1 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Eis uma ordem para os israelitas:
2 Commande the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When yee come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall vnto your inheritance: that is, the land of Canaan with the coastes thereof.
2 quando entrardes na terra de Canaã, eis a terra que vos tocará como herança: a terra de Canaã, com estes limites:
3 And your Southquarter shalbe from the wildernesse of Zin to the borders of Edom: so that your Southquarter shall be from the salt Sea coast Eastwarde:
3 para o lado do meio-dia, vossa fronteira começará no deserto de Sin ao longo de Edom. Essa fronteira meridional partirá, ao oriente, da extremidade do mar Salgado
4 And the border shall compasse you from the South to Maaleh-akrabbim, and reach to Zin, and goe out from the South to Kadesh-barnea: thence it shall stretch to Hazar-addar, and go along to Azmon.
4 e irá para o lado do meio-dia pela subida de Acrabim. Passará por Sin e chegará até o sul de Cades-Barne, de onde irá até Hatsar-Adar, estendendo-se para Asemon.
5 And the border shall compasse from Azmon vnto the riuer of Egypt, and shall goe out to the Sea.
5 De Asemon dirigir-se-á para a torrente do Egito, e terminará no mar.
6 And your Westquarter shall bee the great Sea: euen that border shalbe your Westcoast.
6 Vossa fronteira ocidental será o mar Grande, que fará o vosso limite ao ocidente.
7 And this shall bee your Northquarter: yee shall marke out your border from the great Sea vnto mount Hor.
7 Eis vossa fronteira setentrional: partindo do mar Grande, tereis por limite o monte Hor;
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out till it come vnto Hamath, and the end of the coast shall be at Zedad.
8 desde o monte Hor marcá-la-eis até a entrada de Hamat, terminando em Sedada;
9 And the coast shall reach out to Ziphron, and goe out at Hazar-enan. this shalbe your Northquarter.
9 estender-se-á em seguida para Zefron até Hatsar-Enã. Este será o vosso limite setentrional.
10 And ye shall marke out your Eastquarter from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
10 Para vossa fronteira oriental, marcareis uma linha de Hatsar-Enã a Sefão;
11 And the coast shall goe downe from Shepham to Riblah, and from the Eastside of Ain: and the same border shall descend and goe out at the side of the sea of Chinneereth Eastward.
11 descerá de Sefão a Rebla, ao oriente de Ain; depois, continuando, atingirá a praia oriental do mar de Ceneret,
12 Also that border shall goe downe to Iorden, and leaue at the salt Sea. this shalbe your land with the coastes thereof round about.
12 e enfim, descerá ao longo do Jordão, terminando no mar Salgado. Tal será a vossa terra em todo o perímetro de vossas fronteiras."
13 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the lande which yee shall inherite by lot, which the Lord commanded to giue vnto nine tribes and halfe the tribe.
13 Moisés ordenou aos israelitas o seguinte: "Esta será a terra que possuireis por sorte, e que o Senhor mandou que se desse às nove tribos e à meia tribo,
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben, according to the housholdes of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, according to their fathers housholdes, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh, haue receiued their inheritance.
14 porque a tribo dos rubenitas, por suas famílias, assim como a tribo dos gaditas, por suas famílias, e a meia tribo de Manassés receberam já a sua porção.
15 Two tribes and an halfe tribe haue receiued their inheritance on this side of Iorden toward Iericho full East.
15 Estas duas tribos e a meia tribo têm a sua herança além do Jordão, defronte de Jericó, para o levante."
16 Againe the Lord spake to Moses, saying,
16 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
17 These are the names of the men which shall deuide ye land vnto you: Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
17 "Eis os nomes dos homens que dividirão a terra entre vós: o sacerdote Eleazar, e Josué, filho de Nun.
18 And ye shall take also a prince of euerie tribe to deuide the land.
18 Tomareis, além disso, um príncipe de cada tribo para proceder à divisão."
19 The names also of the men are these: Of the tribe of Iudah, Caleb ye sonne of Iephunneh.
19 Eis os nomes desses príncipes: da tribo de Judá, Caleb, filho de Jefoné;
20 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Simeon, Shemuel the sonne of Ammihud.
20 da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Samuel, filho de Amiud;
21 Of the tribe of Beniamin, Elidad the sonne of Chislon.
21 da tribo de Benjamim, Elidad, filho de Caselon;
22 Also of the tribe of the sonnes of Dan, the prince Bukki, the sonne of Iogli.
22 da tribo dos filhos de Dã, um príncipe, Boci, filho de Jogli;
23 Of the sonnes of Ioseph: of the tribe of the sonnes of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel the sonne of Ephod.
23 dos filhos de José, da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, um príncipe, Haniel, filho de Efod,
24 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the sonne of Shiphtan.
24 e da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, um príncipe, Camuel, filho de Seftã;
25 Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the sonne of Parnach.
25 da tribo dos filhos de Zabulon, um príncipe, Elisafã, filho de Farnac;
26 So of the tribe of the sonnes of Issachar, the prince Paltiel the sonne of Azzan.
26 da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, um príncipe, Faltiel, filho de Ozã;
27 Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the sonne of Shelomi.
27 da tribo dos filhos de Aser, um príncipe, Aiud, filho de Salomi;
28 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the sonne of Ammihud.
28 da tribo dos filhos de Neftali, um príncipe, Fedael, filho de Amiud.
29 These are they, whome the Lord commanded to deuide the inheritance vnto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan.
29 Tais são os que o Senhor designou para repartir entre os israelitas a terra de Canaã.
