1 These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
1 Os sacerdotes e levitas que regressaram com Zorobabel, filho de Sealtiel, e com Jesua, o sumo sacerdote, foram: Seraías, Jeremias, Esdras,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
2 Amarias, Maluque, Hatus,
3 Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
3 Secanias, Harim, Meremote,
4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
4 Ido, Ginetom, Abias,
5 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
5 Miniamim, Moadias, Bilga,
6 Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
6 Semaías, Joiaribe, Jedaías,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
7 Salu, Amoque, Hilquias e Jedaías. Esses foram os líderes dos sacerdotes e seus companheiros nos dias de Jesua.
8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
8 Os levitas que regressaram com eles foram: Jesua, Binui, Cadmiel, Serebias, Judá e também Matanias, que, com seus companheiros, era encarregado dos cânticos de ação de graças.
9 And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.

10 And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.

11 And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,

12 And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
12 Quando Joiaquim era sumo sacerdote, os chefes das famílias dos sacerdotes foram: Meraías, chefe da família de Seraías; Hananias, chefe da família de Jeremias;
13 Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
13 Mesulão, chefe da família de Esdras; Joanã, chefe da família de Amarias;
14 Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,

18 Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,

19 Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
19 Matenai, chefe da família de Joiaribe; Uzi, chefe da família de Jedaías;

20 Calai, chefe da família de Salu; Héber, chefe da família de Amoque;
21 Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
21 Hasabias, chefe da família de Hilquias; Netanel, chefe da família de Jedaías.
22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
22 Nos dias de Eliasibe, Joiada, Joanã e Jadua, manteve-se um registro dos chefes das famílias dos levitas. Durante o reinado de Dario, o persa, manteve-se um registro dos sacerdotes.
23 The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
23 Até os dias de Joanã, neto de Eliasibe, manteve-se um registro dos chefes das famílias dos levitas no Livro da História .
24 And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
24 Estes foram os chefes das famílias dos levitas: Hasabias, Serebias, Jesua, Binui, Cadmiel e outros companheiros que ficavam em frente deles durante as cerimônias de louvor e ação de graças; um lado respondia ao outro, conforme ordenado por Davi, homem de Deus.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
25 Matanias, Baquebuquias, Obadias, Mesulão, Talmom e Acube eram os guardas das portas encarregados dos depósitos junto às portas.
26 These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
26 Todos eles serviam nos dias de Joiaquim, filho de Jesua, filho de Jeozadaque, e nos dias do governador Neemias e do sacerdote e escriba Esdras.
27 And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
27 Para a dedicação do novo muro de Jerusalém, pediu-se que os levitas de toda a terra viessem a Jerusalém para auxiliar nas cerimônias. Deviam participar dessa ocasião alegre com cânticos de ação de graças e com música de címbalos, harpas e liras.
28 Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
28 Os cantores foram reunidos da região ao redor de Jerusalém e dos povoados dos netofatitas.
29 And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
29 Também vieram de Bete-Gilgal e das regiões rurais próximas de Geba e de Azmavete, pois os cantores haviam construído seus próprios povoados ao redor de Jerusalém.
30 And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
30 Primeiro, os sacerdotes e os levitas purificaram a si mesmos; depois, purificaram o povo, as portas e o muro.
31 And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
31 Eu conduzi os líderes de Judá até o alto do muro e organizei dois grandes coros. Um dos coros foi para o sul pelo alto do muro, até a porta do Esterco.
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
32 Hosaías e metade dos líderes de Judá seguiram o coro,
33 And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
33 junto com Azarias, Esdras, Mesulão,
34 Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
34 Judá, Benjamim, Semaías e Jeremias.
35 And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
35 Depois deles vinham alguns sacerdotes que tocavam trombetas: Zacarias, filho de Jônatas, filho de Semaías, filho de Matanias, filho de Micaías, filho de Zacur, descendente de Asafe.
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
36 Os companheiros de Zacarias eram Semaías, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Natanel, Judá e Hanani. Eles tocavam os instrumentos musicais prescritos por Davi, homem de Deus. O escriba Esdras ia à frente deles.
37 And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
37 Quando chegaram à porta da Fonte, foram em frente e subiram pelos degraus que levavam até a Cidade de Davi. Passaram pela casa de Davi e, de lá, foram até a porta das Águas, a leste.
38 And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
38 O segundo coro foi para o norte, no sentido oposto, para encontrar-se com o primeiro coro. Fui com eles e com a outra metade do povo pelo alto do muro, passando pela torre dos Fornos, até o muro Largo,
39 And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
39 e depois desde a porta de Efraim até a porta Antiga, passando pela porta do Peixe e pela torre de Hananel e prosseguindo até a torre dos Cem. Dali, continuamos para a porta das Ovelhas e paramos junto à porta da Guarda.
40 So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
40 Os dois corais seguiram, então, para o templo de Deus, onde tomaram seus lugares. Eu fiz o mesmo, junto com os líderes que estavam comigo.
41 The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
41 Acompanhamos os sacerdotes que tocavam trombetas: Eliaquim, Maaseias, Miniamim, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarias e Hananias,
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
42 e os cantores: Maaseias, Semaías, Eleazar, Uzi, Joanã, Malquias, Elão e Ézer. Eles tocavam e cantavam bem alto, sob a direção de Jezraías.
43 And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
43 Naquele dia alegre, foram oferecidos muitos sacrifícios, pois Deus tinha dado ao povo motivo para se alegrar. As mulheres e as crianças também participaram da celebração, e podia-se ouvir de longe a alegria do povo de Jerusalém.
44 Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
44 Naquele dia, foram nomeados os homens encarregados dos depósitos para as ofertas e os primeiros frutos da colheita e para os dízimos. Eram responsáveis por recolher dos campos fora das cidades as porções exigidas pela lei para os sacerdotes e os levitas, pois todo o povo estava alegre com os sacerdotes e os levitas e com seu trabalho.
45 And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
45 Tanto eles como os cantores e os guardas das portas realizavam o serviço de seu Deus e o serviço de purificação, conforme Davi e seu filho Salomão haviam ordenado.
46 For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
46 O costume de ter regentes do coro para dirigir os hinos de louvor e de ação de graças a Deus havia começado muito tempo antes, nos dias de Davi e Asafe.
47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
47 Por isso, agora, nos dias de Zorobabel e de Neemias, todo o Israel trazia uma provisão diária de alimentos para os cantores, os guardas das portas e os levitas. Os levitas, por sua vez, entregavam uma porção daquilo que recebiam aos sacerdotes, os descendentes de Arão.
