1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.
1 As autoridades de Israel ficaram morando em Jerusalém, e o resto do povo tirou a sorte para escolher uma família de cada dez para morar na santa cidade de Jerusalém. O resto do povo ficou morando nas outras cidades e povoados.
2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.
2 O povo abençoou todas as outras pessoas que por sua própria vontade resolveram morar em Jerusalém.
3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.
3 O povo de Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas , os servidores do Templo e os descendentes dos servidores de Salomão ficaram morando nas outras cidades e povoados das suas propriedades. Esta é a lista dos chefes da
4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,
4 Da tribo de Judá: Ataías, filho de Uzias e neto de Zacarias. Os seus antepassados foram Amariá, Sefatias e Maalalel, descendentes de Peres, filho de Judá;
5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.
5 Maaseias, filho de Baruque e neto de Col-Hozé. Os seus antepassados foram Hazaías, Adaías, Joiaribe e Zacarias, descendentes de Selá, filho de Judá;
6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.
6 dos descendentes de Peres, quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens de valor.
7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.
7 Da tribo de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulã e neto de Joede. Os seus antepassados foram Pedaías, Colaías, Maaseias, Itiel e Jesaías;
8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.
8 Gabai e Salai, parentes chegados de Salu. Ao todo, novecentos e vinte e oito homens da tribo de Benjamim ficaram morando em Jerusalém;
9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:
9 Joel, filho de Zicri, era o seu chefe, e Judá, filho de Senua, era o subchefe.
10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.
10 Sacerdotes: Jedaías, filho de Joiaribe, e Jaquim;
11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.
11 Seraías, filho de Hilquias e neto de Mesulã. Os seus antepassados foram Zadoque, Meraiote e Aitube, que era o administrador do Templo.
12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:
12 Ao todo, oitocentos e vinte e dois membros deste grupo de famílias trabalhavam no Templo; Adaías, filho de Jeroão e neto de Pelalias. Os seus antepassados foram Anzi, Zacarias, Pasur e Malquias.
13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:
13 Ao todo, duzentos e quarenta e dois membros deste grupo de famílias eram chefes de famílias; Amasai, filho de Azarel e neto de Azai. Os seus antepassados foram Mesilemote e Imer.
14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.
14 Havia cento e vinte e oito membros deste grupo de famílias que eram soldados valentes. O chefe deles era Zabdiel, membro de uma família importante.
15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.
15 Levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube e neto de Azricã. Os seus antepassados foram Hasabias e Buni;
16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.
16 Sabetai e Jozabade, levitas importantes, que eram os encarregados dos trabalhos no lado de fora do Templo;
17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.
17 Matanias, filho de Mica e neto de Zabdi, descendente de Asafe. Ele dirigia o coro do Templo no cântico da oração de agradecimento; Baquebuquias, que era o ajudante de Matanias; Abda, filho de Samua e neto de Galal, que era descendente de Jedutum.
18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.
18 Ao todo, duzentos e oitenta e quatro levitas ficaram morando na santa cidade de Jerusalém.
19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.
19 Guardas do Templo: Acube, Talmom e os seus parentes — cento e setenta e dois ao todo.
20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.
20 O resto do povo de Israel e os restantes sacerdotes e levitas moravam nas suas propriedades nas outras cidades e povoados de Judá.
21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.
21 Os trabalhadores do Templo moravam na parte de Jerusalém chamada Ofel e trabalhavam dirigidos por Zia e Gispa.
22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.
22 O chefe dos levitas que moravam em Jerusalém era Uzi, filho de Bani e neto de Hasabias. Os seus antepassados foram Matanias e Mica. Ele pertencia ao grupo de famílias de Asafe, que era o grupo responsável pela música nos serviços do Templo.
23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.

24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.

25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,
25 Muitos israelitas moravam nas cidades que ficavam perto das suas fazendas. Aqueles que eram da tribo de Judá moravam em Quiriate-Arba, Dibom e Jecabzeel e nos povoados que ficavam perto dessas cidades.
26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,
26 Eles moravam também nas cidades de Jesua, Molada, Bete-Palete,
27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
27 Hazar-Sual e em Berseba e nos povoados ao seu redor.
28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,
28 Eles moravam nas cidades de Ziclague, Mecona e nos seus povoados,
29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,
29 em En-Rimom, Zora, Jarmute,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.

31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,
31 O povo da tribo de Benjamim morava na região ao norte de Geba, até Micmás, Aia, Betel e os seus povoados;
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
32 Anatote, Nobe, Ananias,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
33 Hazor, Ramá, Gitaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
34 Hadide, Zeboim, Nebalate,
35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.
35 Lode e Ono, no vale dos Artífices.
36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
36 Alguns grupos de levitas que haviam morado na região de Judá foram indicados para morar com o povo de Benjamim.
