1 Now they that sealed were Nehemiah the Tirshatha the sonne of Hachaliah, and Zidkiiah,

14 The chiefe of the people were Parosh, Pahath Moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,

28 And the rest of the people, the Priestes, the Leuites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all that were separated from the people of the landes vnto the Lawe of God, their wiues, their sonnes, and their daughters, all that coulde vnderstande.
28 O resto do povo, os sacerdotes, os levitas, os porteiros, os cantores, os servidores do templo e todos os que se tinham separado dos povos de outras terras para a Lei de Deus, suas mulheres, seus filhos e suas filhas, todos os que tinham saber e entendimento,
29 The chiefe of them receiued it for their brethren, and they came to the curse and to the othe to walke in Gods Law, which was giuen by Moses the seruant of God, to obserue and doe all the commandements of the Lord our God, and his iudgements and his statutes:
29 firmemente aderiram a seus irmãos; seus nobres convieram, numa imprecação e num juramento, de que andariam na Lei de Deus, que foi dada por intermédio de Moisés, servo de Deus, de que guardariam e cumpririam todos os mandamentos do Senhor , nosso Deus, e os seus juízos e os seus estatutos;
30 And that we would not giue our daughters to the people of the lande, neither take their daughters for our sonnes.
30 de que não dariam as suas filhas aos povos da terra, nem tomariam as filhas deles para os seus filhos;
31 And if the people of the lande brought ware on the Sabbath, or any vitailes to sell, that we would not take it of them on the Sabbath and on the holy dayes: and that we would let the seuenth yeere be free, and the debtes of euery person.
31 de que, trazendo os povos da terra no dia de sábado qualquer mercadoria e qualquer cereal para venderem, nada comprariam deles no sábado, nem no dia santificado; e de que, no ano sétimo, abririam mão da colheita e de toda e qualquer cobrança.
32 And we made statutes for our selues to giue by the yeere the thirde part of a shekel for the seruice of the house of our God,
32 Também sobre nós pusemos preceitos, impondo-nos cada ano a terça parte de um siclo para o serviço da casa do nosso Deus,
33 For the shewbread, and for the daily offring, and for the daily burnt offring, the Sabbaths, the newe moones, for the solemne feastes, and for the thinges that were sanctified, and for the sinne offrings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the worke of the house of our God.
33 e para os pães da proposição, e para a contínua oferta de manjares, e para o contínuo holocausto dos sábados e das Festas da Lua Nova, e para as festas fixas, e para as coisas sagradas, e para as ofertas pelo pecado, e para fazer expiação por Israel, e para toda a obra da casa do nosso Deus.
34 We cast also lottes for the offering of the wood, euen the Priestes, the Leuites and the people to bring it into the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, yeerely at the times appointed, to burne it vpon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the Lawe,
34 Nós, os sacerdotes, os levitas e o povo deitamos sortes acerca da oferta da lenha que se havia de trazer à casa do nosso Deus, segundo as nossas famílias, a tempos determinados, de ano em ano, para se queimar sobre o altar do Senhor , nosso Deus, como está escrito na Lei.
35 And to bring the first fruites of our land, and the first of all the fruites of all trees, yeere by yeere, into the house of the Lord,
35 E que também traríamos as primícias da nossa terra e todas as primícias de todas as árvores frutíferas, de ano em ano, à Casa do Senhor ;
36 And the first borne of our sonnes, and of our cattel, as it is written in the Lawe, and the first borne of our bullockes and of our sheepe, to bring it into the house of our God, vnto ye Priests that minister in the house of our God,
36 os primogênitos dos nossos filhos e os do nosso gado, como está escrito na Lei; e que os primogênitos das nossas manadas e das nossas ovelhas traríamos à casa do nosso Deus, aos sacerdotes que ministram nela.
37 And that we should bring the first fruite of our dough, and our offrings, and the fruite of euery tree, of wine and of oyle, vnto the Priests, to the chambers of the house of our God: and the tithes of our lande vnto the Leuites, that the Leuites might haue the tithes in all the cities of our trauaile.
37 As primícias da nossa massa, as nossas ofertas, o fruto de toda árvore, o vinho e o azeite traríamos aos sacerdotes, às câmaras da casa do nosso Deus; os dízimos da nossa terra, aos levitas, pois a eles cumpre receber os dízimos em todas as cidades onde há lavoura.
38 And the Priest, the sonne of Aaron shall be with the Leuites, when ye Leuites take tithes, and the Leuites shall bring vp the tenth parte of the tithes vnto the house of our God, vnto the chambers of the treasure house.
38 O sacerdote, filho de Arão, estaria com os levitas quando estes recebessem os dízimos, e os levitas trariam os dízimos dos dízimos à casa do nosso Deus, às câmaras da casa do tesouro.
39 For the children of Israel, and the children of Leui shall bring vp the offerings of the corne, of the wine, and of the oyle, vnto the chabers: and there shalbe the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and the Priestes that minister, and the porters, and the fingers, and we will not forsake the house of our God.
39 Porque àquelas câmaras os filhos de Israel e os filhos de Levi devem trazer ofertas do cereal, do vinho e do azeite; porquanto se acham ali os vasos do santuário, como também os sacerdotes que ministram, e os porteiros, e os cantores; e, assim, não desampararíamos a casa do nosso Deus.
