1 Judge not, that ye be not iudged.
1 "Não julguem, para que vocês não sejam julgados.
2 Eor with what iudgement ye iudge, ye shall be iudged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you againe.
2 Pois da mesma forma que julgarem, vocês serão julgados; e a medida que usarem, também será usada para medir vocês.
3 And why seest thou the mote, that is in thy brothers eye, and perceiuest not the beame that is in thine owne eye?
3 "Por que você repara no cisco que está no olho do seu irmão, e não se dá conta da viga que está em seu próprio olho?
4 Or howe sayest thou to thy brother, Suffer me to cast out the mote out of thine eye, and beholde, a beame is in thine owne eye?
4 Como você pode dizer ao seu irmão: ‘Deixe-me tirar o cisco do seu olho’, quando há uma viga no seu?
5 Hypocrite, first cast out that beame out of thine owne eye, and then shalt thou see clearely to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye.
5 Hipócrita, tire primeiro a viga do seu olho, e então você verá claramente para tirar o cisco do olho do seu irmão.
6 Giue ye not that which is holy, to dogges, neither cast ye your pearles before swine, lest they treade them vnder their feete, and turning againe, all to rent you.
6 "Não dêem o que é sagrado aos cães, nem atirem suas pérolas aos porcos; caso contrário, estes as pisarão e, aqueles, voltando-se contra vocês, os despedaçarão".
7 Aske, and it shall be giuen you: seeke, and ye shall finde: knocke, and it shall be opened vnto you.
7 "Peçam, e lhes será dado; busquem, e encontrarão; batam, e a porta lhes será aberta.
8 For whosoeuer asketh, receiueth: and he, that seeketh, findeth: and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
8 Pois todo o que pede, recebe; o que busca, encontra; e àquele que bate, a porta será aberta.
9 For what man is there among you, which if his sonne aske him bread, woulde giue him a stone?
9 "Qual de vocês, se seu filho pedir pão, lhe dará uma pedra?
10 Or if he aske fish, wil he giue him a serpent?
10 Ou se pedir peixe, lhe dará uma cobra?
11 If ye then, which are euill, can giue to your children good giftes, howe much more shall your Father which is in heauen, giue good thinges to them that aske him?
11 Se vocês, apesar de serem maus, sabem dar boas coisas aos seus filhos, quanto mais o Pai de vocês, que está nos céus, dará coisas boas aos que lhe pedirem!
12 Therefore whatsoeuer ye woulde that men should doe to you, euen so doe ye to them: for this is the Lawe and the Prophets.
12 Assim, em tudo, façam aos outros o que vocês querem que eles lhes façam; pois esta é a Lei e os Profetas".
13 Enter in at the streight gate: for it is the wide gate, and broade way that leadeth to destruction: and many there be which goe in thereat,
13 "Entrem pela porta estreita, pois larga é a porta e amplo o caminho que leva à perdição, e são muitos os que entram por ela.
14 Because the gate is streight, and the way narowe that leadeth vnto life, and fewe there be that finde it.
14 Como é estreita a porta, e apertado o caminho que leva à vida! São poucos os que a encontram".
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you, in sheepes clothing, but inwardly they are rauening wolues.
15 "Cuidado com os falsos profetas. Eles vêm a vocês vestidos de peles de ovelhas, mas por dentro são lobos devoradores.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruites. Doe men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles?
16 Vocês os reconhecerão por seus frutos. Pode alguém colher uvas de um espinheiro ou figos de ervas daninhas?
17 So euery good tree bringeth foorth good fruite, and a corrupt tree bringeth forth euill fruite.
17 Semelhantemente, toda árvore boa dá frutos bons, mas a árvore ruim dá frutos ruins.
18 A good tree can not bring forth euil fruite: neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruite.
18 A árvore boa não pode dar frutos ruins, nem a árvore ruim pode dar frutos bons.
19 Euery tree that bringeth not forth good fruite, is hewen downe, and cast into the fire.
19 Toda árvore que não produz bons frutos é cortada e lançada ao fogo.
20 Therefore by their fruites ye shall knowe them.
20 Assim, pelos seus frutos vocês os reconhecerão!
21 Not euery one that sayeth vnto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdome of heauen, but he that doeth my Fathers will which is in heauen.
21 "Nem todo aquele que me diz: ‘Senhor, Senhor’, entrará no Reino dos céus, mas apenas aquele que faz a vontade de meu Pai que está nos céus.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, haue we not by thy Name prophecied? and by thy name cast out deuils? and by thy name done many great workes?
22 Muitos me dirão naquele dia: ‘Senhor, Senhor, não profetizamos nós em teu nome? Em teu nome não expulsamos demônios e não realizamos muitos milagres? ’
23 And then will I professe to them, I neuer knewe you: depart from me, ye that worke iniquitie.
23 Então eu lhes direi claramente: ‘Nunca os conheci. Afastem-se de mim vocês, que praticam o mal! ’ "
24 Whosoeuer then heareth of mee these words, and doeth the same, I will liken him to a wise man, which hath builded his house on a rock:
24 "Portanto, quem ouve estas minhas palavras e as pratica é como um homem prudente que construiu a sua casa sobre a rocha.
25 And the raine fell, and the floods came, and the windes blewe, and beat vpon that house, and it fell not: for it was grounded on a rocke.
25 Caiu a chuva, transbordaram os rios, sopraram os ventos e deram contra aquela casa, e ela não caiu, porque tinha seus alicerces na rocha.
26 But whosoeuer heareth these my wordes, and doeth them not, shall be likened vnto a foolish man, which hath builded his house vpon the sand:
26 Mas quem ouve estas minhas palavras e não as pratica é como um insensato que construiu a sua casa sobre a areia.
27 And the raine fell, and the floods came, and the windes blewe, and beat vpon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.
27 Caiu a chuva, transbordaram os rios, sopraram os ventos e deram contra aquela casa, e ela caiu. E foi grande a sua queda".
28 And it came to passe, when Iesus had ended these wordes, the people were astonied at his doctrine.
28 Quando Jesus acabou de dizer essas coisas, as multidões estavam maravilhadas com o seu ensino,
29 For he taught them as one hauing authoritie, and not as the Scribes.
29 porque ele as ensinava como quem tem autoridade, e não como os mestres da lei.
