1 The word of the Lord, that came vnto Micah the Morashite in the dayes of Iotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah Kings of Iudah, which he sawe concerning Samaria, and Ierusalem.
1 A palavra do SENHOR que veio a Miqueias, o morastita, nos dias de Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá, a qual ele viu acerca de Samaria e Jerusalém.
2 Heare, al ye people: hearke thou, O earth, and all that therein is, and let the Lord God be witnes against you, euen ye Lord from his holy Teple.
2 Ouvi, todos os povos; escutai, ó terra, e tudo o que nela há; e seja testemunha contra vós o Senhor DEUS, o Senhor desde o seu santo templo.
3 For beholde, the Lord commeth out of his place, and will come downe, and tread vpon the hie places of the earth.
3 Pois eis que o SENHOR virá do seu lugar, e descerá, e pisará sobre os lugares altos da terra.
4 And the mountaines shall melt vnder him (so shall the valleys cleaue) as waxe before the fire, and as the waters that are powred downewarde.
4 E os montes se derreterão debaixo dele, e os vales se fenderão, como cera diante do fogo, e como as águas que são derramadas em lugar íngreme.
5 For the wickednes of Iaakob is all this, and for the sinnes of the house of Israel: what is the wickednes of Iaakob? Is not Samaria? and which are the hie places of Iudah? Is not Ierusalem?
5 Tudo isto é por causa da transgressão de Jacó, e dos pecados da casa de Israel. Qual é a transgressão de Jacó? Não é Samaria? E quais são os altos lugares de Judá? Eles não são Jerusalém?
6 Therefore I wil make Samaria as an heape of the fielde, and for the planting of a vineyard, and I will cause the stones thereof to tumble downe into the valley, and I will discouer the foundations thereof.
6 Por isso farei de Samaria um monte de pedras do campo, e uma terra de plantar vinhas; derramarei as pedras no vale, e descobrirei os seus fundamentos.
7 And all the grauen images thereof shalbe broken, and all the giftes thereof shalbe burnt with the fire, and all the idoles thereof will I destroy: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall returne to the wages of an harlot.
7 E todas as imagens de escultura serão despedaçadas, e todas as pagas serão queimadas com fogo, e de todos os ídolos eu farei uma assolação; pois os ajuntou pelo preço de uma prostituta, e pelo preço de uma prostituta retornarão.
8 Therefore I will mourne and howle: I wil goe without clothes, and naked: I will make lamentation like the dragons, and mourning as the ostriches.
8 Por isso lamentarei e gemerei, andarei despojado e nu; farei lamentação como de chacais, e pranto como de corujas.
9 For her plagues are grieuous: for it is come into Iudah: the enemie is come vnto the gate of my people, vnto Ierusalem.
9 Pois a sua ferida é incurável, porque chegou até Judá; estendeu-se até a porta do meu povo, até Jerusalém.
10 Declare ye it not at Gath, neither weepe ye: for the house of Aphrah roule thy selfe in the dust.
10 Não o anuncieis em Gate, nem choreis de forma alguma; revolve-te no pó, na casa de Afra.
11 Thou that dwellest at Shaphir, go together naked with shame: she that dwelleth at Zaanan, shall not come forth in ye mourning of Beth-ezel: the enemie shall receiue of you for his standing.
11 Passa, ó moradora de Safir, em vergonhosa nudez; a moradora de Zaanã não saiu; o pranto de Bete-Ezel tirará de vós a sua posição.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth wayted for good, but euill came from the Lord vnto the gate of Ierusalem.
12 Pois a moradora de Marote esperou cuidadosamente pelo bem; mas o mal desceu do SENHOR até a porta de Jerusalém.
13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, binde the charet to the beastes of price: she is the beginning of the sinne to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
13 Ó moradora de Laquis, amarra a carruagem aos animais ligeiros; esse é o início do pecado para a filha de Sião, pois as transgressões de Israel se acharam em ti.
14 Therefore shalt thou giue presents to Moresheth Gath: the houses of Achzib shalbe as a lye to the Kings of Israel.
14 Por isso darás presentes a Moresete-Gate; as casas de Aczibe se tornarão uma mentira para os reis de Israel.
15 Yet will I bring an heire vnto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, he shall come vnto Adullam, the glorie of Israel.
15 Ainda trarei um herdeiro a ti, ó moradora de Maressa; a glória de Israel virá até Adulão.
16 Make thee balde: and shaue thee for thy delicate children: enlarge thy baldenesse as the eagle, for they are gone into captiuity from thee.
16 Faze-te calvo, e tosquia-te por causa dos filhos das tuas delícias; alarga a tua calvície como a águia, porque de ti foram levados para o cativeiro.
