1 Moreouer the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,

2 The man that shall haue in the skin of his flesh a swelling or a skab, or a white spot, so that in the skinne of his flesh it be like the plague of leprosie, then he shalbe brought vnto Aaron the Priest, or vnto one of his sonnes the Priestes,
2 “Se alguém tiver um inchaço, uma erupção ou uma descoloração que possa ser sinal de lepra, essa pessoa será levada ao sacerdote Arão ou a um de seus filhos.
3 And the Priest shall looke on the sore in the skinne of his flesh: if the heare in the sore be turned into white, and the sore seeme to be lower then the skinne of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosie. therefore the Priest shall looke on him, and pronounce him vncleane:
3 O sacerdote examinará a região afetada da pele. Se houver ali pelos que ficaram brancos e parecer que o problema é mais profundo que a pele, é lepra, e o sacerdote que examinar a pessoa a declarará cerimonialmente impura.
4 But if the white spot be in the skinne of his flesh, and seeme not to bee lower then the skin, nor the heare thereof be turned vnto white, then the Priest shall shut vp him that hath the plague, seuen dayes.
4 “Se, contudo, a região afetada da pele apresentar apenas uma descoloração branca e a mancha não for mais profunda que a pele, e se os pelos da região não se tornaram brancos, o sacerdote isolará a pessoa por sete dias.
5 After, the Priest shall looke vpon him the seuenth day: and if the plague seeme to him to abide still, and the plague growe not in the skin, the Priest shall shut him vp yet seuen dayes more.
5 No sétimo dia, ele a examinará novamente. Se constatar que a região afetada não mudou e o problema não se espalhou pela pele, isolará a pessoa por mais sete dias.
6 Then the Priest shall looke on him againe the seuenth day, and if the plague be darke, and the sore grow not in the skinne, then the Priest shall pronounce him cleane, for it is a skab: therefore he shall washe his clothes and be cleane.
6 No sétimo dia, voltará a examiná-la. Se constatar que a área afetada diminuiu e não se espalhou, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura; era apenas uma erupção. A pessoa lavará suas roupas e ficará pura.
7 But if the skab growe more in the skinne, after that he is seene of ye Priest for to be purged, he shall be seene of the Priest yet againe.
7 Mas, se a erupção vier a se espalhar depois de o sacerdote examinar a pessoa e a declarar pura, ela voltará para ser examinada.
8 Then the Priest shall consider, and if the skab growe in the skin, then the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is leprosie.
8 Se o sacerdote constatar que a erupção se espalhou, declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura, pois é, de fato, lepra.
9 When the plague of leprosie is in a man, he shalbe brought vnto the Priest,
9 “Quem apresentar algum sinal de lepra irá ao sacerdote para ser examinado.
10 And the Priest shall see him: and if the swelling be white in ye skin, and haue made ye heare white, and there be rawe flesh in the swelling,
10 Se o sacerdote encontrar um inchaço branco na pele, se alguns pelos sobre a mancha tiverem ficado brancos e se houver uma ferida aberta na região afetada,
11 It is an old leprosie in the skin of his flesh: and the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane, and shall not shut him vp, for he is vncleane.
11 é um caso crônico de lepra, e o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura. Nesses casos, não será necessário isolar a pessoa para avaliá-la, pois é evidente que a pele está contaminada pela doença.
12 Also if the leprosie breake out in the skin, and the leprosie couer all the skin of the plague, from his head euen to his feete, wheresoeuer the Priest looketh,
12 “Se a lepra se espalhar por toda a pele da pessoa e cobrir seu corpo da cabeça aos pés, o sacerdote examinará a pessoa infectada.
13 Then the Priest shall consider: and if the leprosie couer all his flesh, he shall pronounce the plague to bee cleane, because it is all turned into whitenesse: so he shalbe cleane.
13 Se constatar que a doença cobre todo o corpo, declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura. Uma vez que a pele se tornou completamente branca, a pessoa está pura.
14 But if there be raw flesh on him when he is seene, he shalbe vncleane.
14 Mas, se aparecerem feridas abertas, a pessoa infectada será declarada cerimonialmente impura.
15 For the Priest shall see the rawe flesh, and declare him to be vncleane: for the rawe flesh is vncleane, therefore it is the leprosie.
15 O sacerdote fará essa declaração assim que vir uma ferida aberta, pois esse tipo de ferida indica a presença de lepra.
16 Or if the rawe flesh change and be turned into white, then he shall come to the Priest,
16 Se, contudo, as feridas sararem e se tornarem brancas como o resto da pele, a pessoa voltará ao sacerdote
17 And the Priest shall beholde him and if the sore be changed into white, then the Priest shall pronounce the plague cleane, for it is cleane.

18 The flesh also in whose skin there is a bile and is healed,
18 “Se alguém tiver na pele uma ferida purulenta e ela sarar,
19 And in ye place of the bile there be a white swelling, or a white spot somewhat reddish, it shall be seene of the Priest.
19 mas surgir em seu lugar um inchaço branco ou uma mancha branca avermelhada, a pessoa irá ao sacerdote para ser examinada.
20 And when the Priest seeth it, if it appeare lower then the skinne, and the heare thereof bee changed into white, ye Priest then shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is a plague of leprosie, broken out in the bile.
20 Se o sacerdote a examinar e constatar que a mancha é mais profunda que a pele, e se os pelos da região afetada tiverem ficado brancos, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura. A ferida purulenta indica lepra.
21 But if the Priest looke on it, and there be no white heares therein, and if it bee not lower then the skin, but be darker, then the Priest shall shut him vp seuen dayes.
21 Mas, se o sacerdote não encontrar pelos brancos na região afetada e parecer que a mancha não é mais profunda que a pele, e até diminuiu, o sacerdote isolará a pessoa por sete dias.
22 And if it spred abroad in the flesh, ye Priest shall pronounce him vncleane, for it is a sore.
22 Se, nesse período, a mancha ou o inchaço se espalharem na pele, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura, pois é sinal de lepra.
23 But if the spot continue in his place, and growe not, it is a burning bile: therefore the Priest shall declare him to be cleane.
23 Se, contudo, a região afetada não aumentar nem se espalhar, é apenas a cicatriz da ferida, e o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura.
24 If there be any flesh, in whose skin there is an hote burning, and the quick flesh of ye burning haue a white spot, somewhat reddish or pale,
24 “Se alguém sofrer uma queimadura na pele e aparecerem na região feridas abertas de cor branca avermelhada ou completamente branca,
25 Then the Priest shall looke vpon it: and if the heare in that spot be changed into white, and it appeare lower then the skin, it is a leprosie broken out in the burning therefore the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is the plague of leprosie.
25 o sacerdote a examinará. Se constatar que os pelos na região afetada ficaram brancos, e se parecer que a mancha é mais profunda que a pele, surgiu lepra na queimadura. O sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura, pois, sem dúvida, é lepra.
26 But if the Priest looke on it, and there be no white heare in the spot, and be no lower then the other skinne, but be darker, then the Priest shall shut him vp seuen dayes.
26 Mas, se não encontrar pelos brancos na região afetada, e se parecer que a ferida não é mais profunda que a pele e tiver diminuído, o sacerdote isolará a pessoa por sete dias.
27 After, the Priest shall looke on him the seuenth day: if it be growen abroad in the skinne, then the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane: for it is the plague of leprosie.
27 No sétimo dia, examinará a pessoa novamente. Se o problema tiver se espalhado na pele, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura, pois, sem dúvida, é lepra.
28 And if the spot abide in his place, not growing in the skin, but is darke, it is a rising of the burning: the Priest shall therefore declare him cleane, for it is the drying vp of the burning.
28 Se, contudo, a região afetada não tiver mudado ou se o problema não tiver se espalhado na pele, mas tiver diminuído, é apenas o inchaço da queimadura. O sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura, pois é apenas a cicatriz da queimadura.
29 If also a man or woman hath a sore on the head or in the beard,
29 “Se um homem ou uma mulher tiver uma ferida na cabeça ou no queixo,
30 Then the Priest shall see his sore: and if it appeare lower then the skin, and there be in it a small yellow haire, then the Priest shall pronouce him vncleane: for it is a blacke spot, and leprosie of the head or of the beard.
30 o sacerdote a examinará. Se constatar que a mancha é mais profunda que a pele e tem pelos amarelados e finos, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente impura. É uma ferida causada por sarna na cabeça ou no queixo.
31 And if the Priest looke on the sore of the blacke spotte, and if it seeme not lower then the skinne, nor haue any blacke heare in it, then the Priest shall shut vp him, that hath the sore of the blacke spot, seuen dayes.
31 Se o sacerdote examinar a ferida e constatar que não é mais profunda que a pele, mas não tem pelos escuros, isolará a pessoa por sete dias.
32 After, in the seuenth day the Priest shall looke on the sore: and if the blacke spot growe not, and there be in it no yelowe heare, and the blacke spot seeme not lower then the skinne,
32 No sétimo dia, o sacerdote examinará a ferida novamente. Se constatar que ela não se espalhou, que não há pelos amarelados e que não parece mais profunda que a pele,
33 Then he shalbe shauen, but the place of the blacke spot shall he not shaue: but the Priest shall shut vp him, that hath the blacke spot, seuen dayes more.
33 a pessoa raspará todos os pelos, exceto na região afetada. Em seguida, o sacerdote isolará a pessoa infectada por mais sete dias.
34 And the seuenth day the Priest shall looke on the blacke spot: and if the blacke spot growe not in the skinne, nor seeme lower then the other skinne, then the Priest shall clense him, and hee shall wash his clothes, and be cleane.
34 No sétimo dia, examinará a ferida novamente. Se ela não tiver se espalhado, e se não parecer mais profunda que a pele, o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura. A pessoa lavará suas roupas e ficará pura.
35 But if the blacke spot growe abroad in the flesh after his clensing,
35 Mas, se a ferida de sarna começar a se espalhar depois de a pessoa ter sido declarada cerimonialmente pura,
36 Then the Priest shall looke on it: and if the blacke spot grow in the skin, the Priest shall not seeke for the yelowe heare: for he is vncleane.
36 o sacerdote a examinará novamente. Se constatar que a ferida se espalhou, não é necessário procurar pelos amarelados; a pessoa infectada está cerimonialmente impura.
37 But if ye blacke spot seeme to him to abide, and that blacke heare growe therein, the blacke spot is healed, he is cleane, and the Priest shall declare him to be cleane.
37 Se, contudo, a cor da ferida de sarna não mudar e pelos pretos voltarem a crescer na região afetada, a sarna está curada, e o sacerdote declarará a pessoa cerimonialmente pura.
38 Furthermore if there bee many white spots in the skin of the flesh of man or woman,

39 Then the Priest shall consider: and if the spots in the skin of their flesh be somewhat darke and white withall, it is but a white spot broken out in the skin: therefore he is cleane.
39 o sacerdote examinará a região afetada. Se constatar que as manchas brancas são opacas, é uma simples erupção de pele, e a pessoa está cerimonialmente pura.
40 And the man whose heare is fallen off his head, and is balde, is cleane.
40 “Se os cabelos de um homem caírem e ele ficar calvo, continua cerimonialmente puro.
41 And if his head lose the heare on the forepart, and be balde before, he is cleane.
41 Se caírem os cabelos da parte da frente da cabeça, ele simplesmente ficou calvo na frente e continua puro.
42 But if there be in the balde head, or in the balde forehead a white reddish sore, it is a leprosie springing in his balde head, or in his balde forehead.
42 Mas, se uma ferida branca avermelhada aparecer na região calva no alto ou na parte de trás da cabeça, é lepra.
43 Therefore the Priest shall looke vpon it, and if the rising of the sore bee white reddish in his balde head, or in his bald forehead, appearing like leprosie in the skin of the flesh,
43 O sacerdote o examinará e, se constatar que há inchaço ao redor da ferida branca avermelhada em qualquer parte da calva do homem com aparência de lepra,
44 He is a leper and vncleane: therefore the Priest shall pronounce him altogether vncleane: for the sore is in his head.
44 o homem está, de fato, infectado com lepra e está impuro. O sacerdote o declarará cerimonialmente impuro por causa da ferida na cabeça.
45 The leper also in whom the plague is, shall haue his clothes rent, and his head bare, and shall put a couering vpon his lips, and shall cry, I am vncleane, I am vncleane.
45 “Quem sofrer de lepra rasgará as roupas e deixará o cabelo despenteado. Cobrirá a boca e gritará: ‘Impuro! Impuro!’.
46 As long as the disease shall be vpon him, he shalbe polluted, for he is vncleane: he shall dwell alone, without the campe shall his habitation be.
46 Enquanto durar a lepra, ficará cerimonialmente impuro e viverá isolado, fora do acampamento.” O procedimento para roupas contaminadas
47 Also the garment that the plague of leprosie is in, whether it be a wollen garment or a linen garment,
47 “Quando o mofo contaminar uma peça de roupa de lã ou de linho,
48 Whether it bee in the warpe or in ye woofe of linen or of wollen, either in a skin, or in any thing made of skin,
48 um tecido de lã ou de linho, a pele de um animal ou qualquer objeto de couro,
49 And if the sore be greene or somewhat reddish in the garment or in ye skin, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in any thing that is made of skin, it is a plague of leprosie and shalbe shewed vnto the Priest.
49 e quando a região contaminada da roupa, da pele do animal, do tecido liso ou trançado, ou do artigo de couro se tornar esverdeada ou avermelhada, está contaminada com mofo e deverá ser mostrada ao sacerdote.
50 Then the Priest shall see the plague, and shut vp it that hath the plague, seuen dayes,
50 Depois de examinar a região afetada, o sacerdote isolará o objeto afetado por sete dias.
51 And shall looke on the plague the seuenth day: if the plague growe in the garment or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in the skinne, or in any thing that is made of skin, that plague is a fretting leprosie and vncleane.
51 No sétimo dia, examinará o objeto novamente. Se a região afetada tiver se espalhado, a peça de roupa, o tecido liso ou trançado ou o artigo de couro foi, sem dúvida, contaminado por mofo corrosivo e está cerimonialmente impuro.
52 And hee shall burne the garment, or the warpe, or the woofe, whether it bee wollen or linen, or any thing that is made of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a freating leprosie, therefore it shalbe burnt in the fire.
52 O sacerdote queimará a peça de roupa, o tecido de lã ou de linho ou o artigo de couro, pois foi contaminado por mofo corrosivo. Deve ser completamente destruído com fogo.
53 If the Priest yet see that the plague grow not in the garment, or in the woofe, or in whatsoeuer thing of skin it be,
53 “Se, contudo, o sacerdote examinar o objeto e constatar que a região contaminada não se espalhou pela peça de roupa, pelo tecido liso ou trançado, ou pelo artigo de couro,
54 Then the Priest shall commaund them to wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it vp seuen dayes more.
54 ordenará que o objeto seja lavado e, depois, isolado por mais sete dias.
55 Againe ye Priest shall looke on the plague, after it is washed: and if the plague haue not changed his colour, though the plague haue spred no further, it is vncleane: thou shalt burne it in the fire, for it is a fret inwarde, whether the spot bee in the bare place of the whole, or in part thereof.
55 O sacerdote examinará novamente o objeto depois de lavado. Se constatar que a região contaminada não mudou de cor depois de ser lavada, mesmo que a mancha não tenha se espalhado, o objeto está contaminado. Deve ser completamente queimado, quer o mofo esteja do lado de dentro ou de fora.
56 And if the Priest see that the plague bee darker, after that it is washed, he shall cut it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warpe, or out of the woofe.
56 Mas, se o sacerdote examinar o objeto e constatar que a região contaminada diminuiu depois de ser lavada, cortará a mancha da peça de roupa, do tecido liso ou trançado, ou do couro.
57 And if it appeare stil in ye garment or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in any thing made of skin, it is a spreading leprie: thou shalt burne the thing wherein the plague is, in the fire.
57 Se a mancha reaparecer na peça de roupa, no tecido liso ou trançado, ou no artigo de couro, é evidente que o mofo está se espalhando, e o objeto contaminado deverá ser queimado.
58 If thou hast washed ye garment or ye warpe, or ye woofe, or whatsouer thing of skin it be, if the plague be departed therefrom, then shall it be washed the second time, and be cleane.
58 Se, contudo, a mancha desaparecer da peça de roupa, do tecido, ou do artigo de couro depois de ter sido lavado, o objeto será lavado novamente e, por fim, estará cerimonialmente puro.
59 This is the lawe of the plague of leprosie in a garment of wollen or linnen, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in any thing of skin, to make it cleane or vncleane.
59 “Essas são as instruções referentes ao mofo que contamina roupas de lã ou linho, tecidos lisos ou trançados ou qualquer objeto de couro. É dessa forma que o sacerdote determinará se os objetos estão cerimonialmente puros ou impuros”.
