1 Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
1 Então os chefes das famílias dos levitas se aproximaram de Eleazar, o sacerdote, de Josué, filho de Num, e dos chefes das famílias das tribos dos filhos de Israel,
2 And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
2 em Siló, na terra de Canaã, e lhes disseram: — O
3 So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
3 E os filhos de Israel deram aos levitas, da sua herança, segundo o mandado do Senhor , algumas cidades e os seus arredores.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
4 A sorte saiu para as famílias dos coatitas. Assim, os levitas que eram descendentes do sacerdote Arão receberam, por sorteio, treze cidades das tribos de Judá, Simeão e Benjamim.
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
5 Os outros filhos de Coate receberam, por sorteio, dez cidades das famílias da tribo de Efraim, da tribo de Dã e da meia tribo de Manassés.
6 Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
6 Os filhos de Gérson receberam, por sorteio, treze cidades das famílias da tribo de Issacar, da tribo de Aser, da tribo de Naftali e da meia tribo de Manassés, em Basã.
7 The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
7 Os filhos de Merari receberam, por sorteio, segundo as suas famílias, doze cidades das tribos de Rúben, Gade e Zebulom.
8 So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
8 Os filhos de Israel deram aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arredores, por sorteio, como o Senhor havia ordenado por meio de Moisés.
9 And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
9 Das tribos dos filhos de Judá e dos filhos de Simeão, os filhos de Israel deram mais algumas cidades que, nominalmente, foram designadas,
10 And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
10 para que fossem dos filhos de Arão, das famílias dos coatitas, dos filhos de Levi, porque a primeira sorte foi deles.
11 So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
11 Assim, lhes deram Quiriate-Arba (Arba era pai de Anaque), que é Hebrom, na região montanhosa de Judá, e, em torno dela, os seus arredores.
12 (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
12 Porém o campo da cidade, com as suas aldeias, deram a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, como sua propriedade.
13 Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
13 Assim, aos filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, deram Hebrom, cidade de refúgio do homicida, com os seus arredores, Libna com os seus arredores,
14 And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
14 Jatir com os seus arredores, Estemoa com os seus arredores,
15 And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
15 Holom com os seus arredores, Debir com os seus arredores,
16 And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
16 Aim com os seus arredores, Jutá com os seus arredores e Bete-Semes com os seus arredores. Ao todo, nove cidades dessas duas tribos.
17 And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
17 Da tribo de Benjamim, deram Gibeão com os seus arredores, Gaba com os seus arredores,
18 Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
18 Anatote com os seus arredores e Almom com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
19 O total das cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos de Arão, foi treze cidades com os seus arredores.
20 But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
20 As outras famílias dos levitas de Coate receberam as cidades da sua sorte da tribo de Efraim.
21 They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
21 Deram-lhes Siquém, cidade de refúgio do homicida, com os seus arredores, na região montanhosa de Efraim, Gezer com os seus arredores,
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
22 Quibzaim com os seus arredores e Bete-Horom com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
23 Da tribo de Dã, deram Elteque com os seus arredores, Gibetom com os seus arredores,
24 Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
24 Aijalom com os seus arredores e Gate-Rimom com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
25 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
25 Da meia tribo de Manassés, deram Taanaque com os seus arredores e Gate-Rimom com os seus arredores. Ao todo, duas cidades.
26 All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
26 No total, dez cidades com os seus arredores, para as famílias dos demais filhos de Coate.
27 Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
27 Aos filhos de Gérson, das famílias dos levitas, deram, em Basã, da tribo de Manassés, Golã, a cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com os seus arredores, e Beesterá com os seus arredores. Ao todo, duas cidades.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
28 Da tribo de Issacar, deram Quisião com os seus arredores, Daberate com os seus arredores,
29 Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
29 Jarmute com os seus arredores e En-Ganim com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
30 Da tribo de Aser, deram Misal com os seus arredores, Abdom com os seus arredores,
31 Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
31 Helcate com os seus arredores e Reobe com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
32 Da tribo de Naftali, deram, na Galileia, Quedes, cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com os seus arredores, Hamote-Dor com os seus arredores e Cartã com os seus arredores. Ao todo, três cidades.
33 Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
33 Total das cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas famílias: treze cidades com os seus arredores.
34 Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
34 Às famílias dos demais levitas dos filhos de Merari deram, da tribo de Zebulom, Jocneão com os seus arredores, Cartá com os seus arredores,
35 Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
35 Dimna com os seus arredores e Naalal com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
36 Da tribo de Rúben, deram Bezer com os seus arredores, Jaza com os seus arredores,
37 Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
37 Quedemote com os seus arredores e Mefaate com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
38 Da tribo de Gade, deram, em Gileade, Ramote, cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com os seus arredores, Maanaim com os seus arredores,
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
39 Hesbom com os seus arredores e Jazer com os seus arredores. Ao todo, quatro cidades.
40 So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
40 Todas estas cidades tocaram por sorteio aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, que ainda restavam das famílias dos levitas: doze cidades.
41 And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
41 O total das cidades dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos de Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades com os seus arredores.
42 These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
42 Cada uma dessas cidades tinha pastagens ao seu redor. Era assim com todas elas.
43 So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
43 Desta maneira, o Senhor deu a Israel toda a terra que, sob juramento, havia prometido dar a seus pais; eles tomaram posse dela e habitaram nela.
44 Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
44 O Senhor lhes deu repouso ao redor, segundo tudo o que havia jurado a seus pais. Nenhum de todos os seus inimigos resistiu diante deles; a todos eles o Senhor entregou nas mãos dos filhos de Israel.
45 There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
45 Nenhuma promessa falhou de todas as boas palavras que o Senhor havia falado à casa de Israel; tudo se cumpriu.
