1 Nowe the first day of the weeke came Marie Magdalene, early when it was yet darke, vnto the sepulchre, and sawe the stone taken away from the tombe.
1 E, no primeiro dia da semana, Maria Madalena foi ao sepulcro cedo, sendo ainda escuro, e viu que a pedra fora retirada do sepulcro.
2 Then she ranne, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Iesus loued, and saide vnto them, They haue taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we knowe not where they haue laid him.
2 Então, ela correu e foi a Simão Pedro, e ao outro discípulo, a quem Jesus amava, e disse-lhes: Eles levaram o Senhor do sepulcro, e nós não sabemos onde eles o puseram.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they came vnto the sepulchre.
3 Então, Pedro saiu com o outro discípulo, e foram ao sepulcro.
4 So they ranne both together, but the other disciple did outrunne Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
4 Assim os dois corriam juntos, mas o outro discípulo ultrapassou a Pedro, e chegou primeiro ao sepulcro.
5 And he stouped downe, and sawe the linnen clothes lying: yet went he not in.
5 E, ele curvando-se, olhou para dentro, e viu os panos de linho postos ali; todavia, ele não entrou.
6 Then came Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and sawe the linnen clothes lye,
6 Então, chegou Simão Pedro, que o seguia, e entrou no sepulcro, e viu os panos de linho caídos,
7 And the kerchiefe that was vpon his head, not lying with the linnen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by it selfe.
7 e que o lenço, que estivera sobre a sua cabeça, não estava caído com os panos de linho, mas enrolado, em um lugar à parte.
8 Then went in also the other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he sawe it, and beleeued.
8 Então, foi também o outro discípulo, que chegara primeiro ao sepulcro, e ele viu, e creu.
9 For as yet they knewe not the Scripture, That he must rise againe from the dead.
9 Pois, como eles ainda não entendiam a escritura, que diz que ele deveria ressuscitar dos mortos.
10 And the disciples went away againe vnto their owne home.
10 Então, os discípulos retornaram para a sua própria casa.
11 But Marie stoode without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she bowed her selfe into the sepulchre,
11 Mas Maria ficou parada e chorando do lado de fora da sepultura, e, enquanto ela chorava, curvou-se, e olhou dentro do sepulcro,
12 And sawe two Angels in white, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feete, where the body of Iesus had laien.
12 e viu dois anjos de branco, assentados onde jazera o corpo de Jesus, um à cabeceira e outro aos pés.
13 And they said vnto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She said vnto them, They haue taken away my Lord, and I know not where they haue laide him.
13 E disseram-lhe eles: Mulher, por que tu choras? Ela lhes disse: eles levaram o meu Senhor, e eu não sei onde o puseram.
14 When she had thus said, she turned her selfe backe, and sawe Iesus standing, and knewe not that it was Iesus.
14 E quando ela havia dito assim, ela voltou-se para trás, e viu Jesus em pé, e não sabia que era Jesus.
15 Iesus saith vnto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She supposing that he had bene the gardener, said vnto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
15 Disse-lhe Jesus: Mulher, por que tu choras? A quem procuras? Ela, supondo que fosse o jardineiro, disse-lhe: Senhor, se tu o levaste, dize-me onde tu o puseste, e eu o levarei.
16 Iesus saith vnto her, Marie. She turned her selfe, and said vnto him, Rabboni, which is to say, Master.
16 Disse-lhe Jesus: Maria. Ela, voltando-se, disse-lhe: Raboni, que quer dizer, Mestre.
17 Iesus saith vnto her, Touch me not: for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but goe to my brethren, and say vnto them, I ascend vnto my Father, and to your Father, and to my God, and your God.
17 Disse-lhe Jesus: Não me detenhas porque eu ainda não subi para meu Pai, mas vai ter com meus irmãos, e dize-lhes: Eu subo para meu Pai, e vosso Pai; e para meu Deus, e vosso Deus.
18 Marie Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seene the Lord, and that he had spoken these things vnto her.
18 Maria Madalena foi e contou aos discípulos que ela vira o Senhor, e que ele lhe falara essas coisas.
19 The same day then at night, which was the first day of the weeke, and when the doores were shut where the disciples were assembled for feare of the Iewes, came Iesus and stoode in the middes, and saide to them, Peace be vnto you.
19 Então, naquele mesmo dia à tarde, sendo o primeiro dia da semana, estando fechadas as portas onde os discípulos, com medo dos judeus, estavam reunidos, chegou Jesus, e pôs-se no meio, e disse-lhes: Paz seja convosco.
20 And when he had so saide, he shewed vnto them his handes, and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they had seene the Lord.
20 E, dizendo isso, mostrou-lhes as suas mãos e o seu lado. Então, os discípulos se alegraram ao verem o Senhor.
21 Then saide Iesus to them againe, Peace be vnto you: as my Father sent me, so sende I you.
21 Então, disse Jesus novamente: Paz seja convosco; assim como meu Pai me enviou, também eu vos envio.
22 And when he had saide that, he breathed on them, and saide vnto them, Receiue the holy Ghost.
22 E, tendo dito isso, assoprou sobre eles, e disse-lhes: Recebei o Espírito Santo.
23 Whosoeuers sinnes ye remit, they are remitted vnto them: and whosoeuers sinnes ye reteine, they are reteined.
23 Àqueles a quem perdoardes os pecados, lhes são perdoados; e àqueles a quem os pecados retiverdes, lhes são retidos.
24 But Thomas one of the twelue, called Didymus, was not with them when Iesus came.
24 Mas Tomé, um dos doze, chamado Dídimo, não estava com eles quando veio Jesus.
25 The other disciples therefore saide vnto him, We haue seene the Lord: but he said vnto them, Except I see in his handes the print of the nailes, and put my finger into the print of the nailes, and put mine hand into his side, I will not beleeue it.
25 Portanto, os outros discípulos diziam-lhe: Nós vimos o Senhor. Mas ele disse-lhes: A não ser que eu veja em suas mãos a marca dos cravos, e não puser o meu dedo na marca dos cravos, e não puser a minha mão no seu lado, eu não crerei.
26 And eight dayes after, againe his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then came Iesus, when the doores were shut, and stood in the middes, and said, Peace be vnto you.
26 E, oito dias depois, estavam outra vez os seus discípulos dentro, e com eles Tomé; então chegou Jesus, estando as portas fechadas, e ficou no meio, e disse: Paz seja convosco.
27 After saide he to Thomas, Put thy finger here, and see mine hands, and put forth thine hand, and put it into my side, and be not faithlesse, but faithfull.
27 Então, ele disse para Tomé: Põe aqui o teu dedo, e vê as minhas mãos; põe aqui a tua mão e põe-na no meu lado; não sejas incrédulo, mas crente.
28 Then Thomas answered, and said vnto him, Thou art my Lord, and my God.
28 E Tomé respondeu e disse-lhe: Meu Senhor e meu Deus.
29 Iesus said vnto him, Thomas, because thou hast seene me, thou beleeuest: blessed are they that haue not seene, and haue beleeued.
29 Disse-lhe Jesus: Tomé, porque me viste, tu creste; abençoados são os que não viram, e creram.
30 And many other signes also did Iesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this booke.
30 E muitos outros sinais, que não estão escritos neste livro, verdadeiramente Jesus fez na presença de seus discípulos.
31 But these things are written, that ye might beleeue, that Iesus is that Christ that Sonne of God, and that in beleeuing ye might haue life through his Name.
31 Mas estes estão escritos, para que possam crer que Jesus é o Cristo, o Filho de Deus, e para que, crendo, tenhais vida através do seu nome.
