1 These things spake Iesus, and lift vp his eyes to heauen, and saide, Father, that houre is come: glorifie thy Sonne, that thy Sonne also may glorifie thee,
1 Tendo Jesus falado estas coisas, levantou os olhos ao céu e disse: Pai, é chegada a hora; glorifica a teu Filho, para que o Filho te glorifique a ti,
2 As thou hast giuen him power ouer all flesh, that he shoulde giue eternall life to all them that thou hast giuen him.
2 assim como lhe conferiste autoridade sobre toda a carne, a fim de que ele conceda a vida eterna a todos os que lhe deste.
3 And this is life eternall, that they knowe thee to be the onely very God, and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ.
3 E a vida eterna é esta: que te conheçam a ti, o único Deus verdadeiro, e a Jesus Cristo, a quem enviaste.
4 I haue glorified thee on the earth: I haue finished the worke which thou gauest me to doe.
4 Eu te glorifiquei na terra, consumando a obra que me confiaste para fazer;
5 And nowe glorifie me, thou Father, with thine owne selfe, with the glorie which I had with thee before the world was.
5 e, agora, glorifica-me, ó Pai, contigo mesmo, com a glória que eu tive junto de ti, antes que houvesse mundo.
6 I haue declared thy Name vnto the men which thou gauest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gauest them me, and they haue kept thy worde.
6 Manifestei o teu nome aos homens que me deste do mundo. Eram teus, tu mos confiaste, e eles têm guardado a tua palavra.
7 Nowe they knowe that all things whatsoeuer thou hast giuen me, are of thee.
7 Agora, eles reconhecem que todas as coisas que me tens dado provêm de ti;
8 For I haue giuen vnto them the wordes which thou gauest me, and they haue receiued them, and haue knowen surely that I came out from thee, and haue beleeued that thou hast sent me.
8 porque eu lhes tenho transmitido as palavras que me deste, e eles as receberam, e verdadeiramente conheceram que saí de ti, e creram que tu me enviaste.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the worlde, but for them which thou hast giuen me: for they are thine.
9 É por eles que eu rogo; não rogo pelo mundo, mas por aqueles que me deste, porque são teus;
10 And al mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am glorified in them.
10 ora, todas as minhas coisas são tuas, e as tuas coisas são minhas; e, neles, eu sou glorificado.
11 And nowe am I no more in the world, but these are in the worlde, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keepe them in thy Name, euen them whome thou hast giuen mee, that they may bee one, as we are.
11 Já não estou no mundo, mas eles continuam no mundo, ao passo que eu vou para junto de ti. Pai santo, guarda-os em teu nome, que me deste, para que eles sejam um, assim como nós.
12 While I was with them in the worlde, I kept them in thy Name: those that thou gauest me, haue I kept, and none of them is lost, but the childe of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
12 Quando eu estava com eles, guardava-os no teu nome, que me deste, e protegi-os, e nenhum deles se perdeu, exceto o filho da perdição, para que se cumprisse a Escritura.
13 And now come I to thee, and these things speake I in the worlde, that they might haue my ioy fulfilled in themselues.
13 Mas, agora, vou para junto de ti e isto falo no mundo para que eles tenham o meu gozo completo em si mesmos.
14 I haue giuen them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
14 Eu lhes tenho dado a tua palavra, e o mundo os odiou, porque eles não são do mundo, como também eu não sou.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou keepe them from euill.
15 Não peço que os tires do mundo, e sim que os guardes do mal.
16 They are not of the worlde, as I am not of the world.
16 Eles não são do mundo, como também eu não sou.
17 Sanctifie them with thy trueth: thy word is trueth.
17 Santifica-os na verdade; a tua palavra é a verdade.
18 As thou diddest send me into the world, so haue I sent them into the world.
18 Assim como tu me enviaste ao mundo, também eu os enviei ao mundo.
19 And for their sakes sanctifie I my selfe, that they also may bee sanctified through the trueth.
19 E a favor deles eu me santifico a mim mesmo, para que eles também sejam santificados na verdade.
20 I praie not for these alone, but for them also which shall beleeue in mee, through their woorde,
20 Não rogo somente por estes, mas também por aqueles que vierem a crer em mim, por intermédio da sua palavra;
21 That they all may bee one, as thou, O Father, art in me, and I in thee: euen that they may be also one in vs, that the worlde may beleeue that thou hast sent me.
21 a fim de que todos sejam um; e como és tu, ó Pai, em mim e eu em ti, também sejam eles em nós; para que o mundo creia que tu me enviaste.
22 And the glory that thou gauest me, I haue giuen them, that they may be one, as we are one,
22 Eu lhes tenho transmitido a glória que me tens dado, para que sejam um, como nós o somos;
23 I in them, and thou in mee, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the worlde may knowe that thou hast sent mee, and hast loued them, as thou hast loued me.
23 eu neles, e tu em mim, a fim de que sejam aperfeiçoados na unidade, para que o mundo conheça que tu me enviaste e os amaste, como também amaste a mim.
24 Father, I will that they which thou hast giuen me, be with me euen where I am, that they may beholde that my glorie, which thou hast giuen mee: for thou louedst me before the foundation of the world.
24 Pai, a minha vontade é que onde eu estou, estejam também comigo os que me deste, para que vejam a minha glória que me conferiste, porque me amaste antes da fundação do mundo.
25 O righteous Father, the worlde also hath not knowen thee, but I haue knowen thee, and these haue knowen, that thou hast sent me.
25 Pai justo, o mundo não te conheceu; eu, porém, te conheci, e também estes compreenderam que tu me enviaste.
26 And I haue declared vnto the thy Name, and will declare it, that the loue wherewith thou hast loued me, may be in them, and I in them.
26 Eu lhes fiz conhecer o teu nome e ainda o farei conhecer, a fim de que o amor com que me amaste esteja neles, e eu neles esteja.
