1 And the Lord said vnto Noah, Enter thou and all thine house into the Arke: for thee haue I seene righteous before me in this age.
1 Disse o Senhor a Noé: Entra na arca, tu e toda a tua casa, porque reconheço que tens sido justo diante de mim no meio desta geração.
2 Of euery cleane beast thou shalt take to thee by seuens, the male and his female: but of vncleane beastes by couples, the male and his female.
2 De todo animal limpo levarás contigo sete pares: o macho e sua fêmea; mas dos animais imundos, um par: o macho e sua fêmea.
3 Of the foules also of the heauen by seuens, male and female, to keepe seede aliue vpon the whole earth.
3 Também das aves dos céus, sete pares: macho e fêmea; para se conservar a semente sobre a face da terra.
4 For seuen dayes hence I will cause it raine vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes, and all the substance that I haue made, will I destroy from off the earth.
4 Porque, daqui a sete dias, farei chover sobre a terra durante quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e da superfície da terra exterminarei todos os seres que fiz.
5 Noah therefore did according vnto all that the Lord commanded him.
5 E tudo fez Noé, segundo o Senhor lhe ordenara.
6 And Noah was sixe hundreth yeeres olde, when the flood of waters was vpon the earth.
6 Tinha Noé seiscentos anos de idade, quando as águas do dilúvio inundaram a terra.
7 So Noah entred and his sonnes, and his wife, and his sonnes wiues with him into the Arke, because of the waters of the flood.
7 Por causa das águas do dilúvio, entrou Noé na arca, ele com seus filhos, sua mulher e as mulheres de seus filhos.
8 Of the cleane beastes, and of the vncleane beastes, and of the foules, and of all that creepeth vpon the earth,
8 Dos animais limpos, e dos animais imundos, e das aves, e de todo réptil sobre a terra,
9 There came two and two vnto Noah into the Arke, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
9 entraram para Noé, na arca, de dois em dois, macho e fêmea, como Deus lhe ordenara.
10 And so after seuen dayes the waters of the flood were vpon the earth.
10 E aconteceu que, depois de sete dias, vieram sobre a terra as águas do dilúvio.
11 In the sixe hundreth yeere of Noahs life in the second moneth, the seuetenth day of the moneth, in the same day were all the fountaines of the great deepe broken vp, and the windowes of heauen were opened,
11 No ano seiscentos da vida de Noé, aos dezessete dias do segundo mês, nesse dia romperam-se todas as fontes do grande abismo, e as comportas dos céus se abriram,
12 And the raine was vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes.
12 e houve copiosa chuva sobre a terra durante quarenta dias e quarenta noites.
13 In the selfe same day entred Noah with Shem, and Ham and Iapheth, the sonnes of Noah, and Noahs wife, and the three wiues of his sonnes with them into the Arke.
13 Nesse mesmo dia entraram na arca Noé, seus filhos Sem, Cam e Jafé, sua mulher e as mulheres de seus filhos;
14 They and euery beast after his kinde, and all cattell after their kinde, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth after his kinde, and euery foule after his kinde, euen euery bird of euery fether.
14 eles, e todos os animais segundo as suas espécies, todo gado segundo as suas espécies, todos os répteis que rastejam sobre a terra segundo as suas espécies, todas as aves segundo as suas espécies, todos os pássaros e tudo o que tem asa.
15 For they came to Noah into ye Arke, two and two, of all flesh wherein is ye breath of life.
15 De toda carne, em que havia fôlego de vida, entraram de dois em dois para Noé na arca;
16 And they entring in, came male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
16 eram macho e fêmea os que entraram de toda carne, como Deus lhe havia ordenado; e o Senhor fechou a porta após ele.
17 Then ye flood was fourtie dayes vpon the earth, and the waters were increased, and bare vp the Arke, which was lift vp aboue the earth.
17 Durou o dilúvio quarenta dias sobre a terra; cresceram as águas e levantaram a arca de sobre a terra.
18 The waters also waxed strong, and were increased exceedingly vpon the earth, and the Arke went vpon the waters.
18 Predominaram as águas e cresceram sobremodo na terra; a arca, porém, vogava sobre as águas.
19 The waters preuailed so exceedingly vpon the earth, that all the high mountaines, that are vnder the whole heauen, were couered.
19 Prevaleceram as águas excessivamente sobre a terra e cobriram todos os altos montes que havia debaixo do céu.
20 Fifteene cubites vpwarde did the waters preuaile, when the mountaines were couered.
20 Quinze côvados acima deles prevaleceram as águas; e os montes foram cobertos.
21 Then all flesh perished that moued vpon the earth, both foule and cattell and beast, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth, and euery man.
21 Pereceu toda carne que se movia sobre a terra, tanto de ave como de animais domésticos e animais selváticos, e de todos os enxames de criaturas que povoam a terra, e todo homem.
22 Euery thing in whose nostrels the spirit of life did breathe, whatsoeuer they were in the drie land, they died.
22 Tudo o que tinha fôlego de vida em suas narinas, tudo o que havia em terra seca, morreu.
23 So he destroyed euery thing that was vpon the earth, from man to beast, to ye creeping thing, and to the foule of the heauen: they were euen destroyed from the earth. And Noah onely remained; and they that were with him in ye Arke.
23 Assim, foram exterminados todos os seres que havia sobre a face da terra; o homem e o animal, os répteis e as aves dos céus foram extintos da terra; ficou somente Noé e os que com ele estavam na arca.
24 And the waters preuailed vpon the earth an hundreth and fiftie dayes.
24 E as águas durante cento e cinquenta dias predominaram sobre a terra.
