1 Therefore, my brethre, beloued and longed for, my ioy and my crowne, so continue in the Lord, yee beloued.
1 Portanto, meus amados irmãos, de quem tenho muita saudade, vocês que são a minha alegria e coroa, sim, meus amados, permaneçam, deste modo, firmes no Senhor.
2 I pray Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of one accord in the Lord,
2 Peço a Evódia e peço a Síntique que, no Senhor, tenham o mesmo modo de pensar.
3 Yea, and I beseech thee, faithfull yokefellow, helpe those women, which laboured with me in the Gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowe labourers, whose names are in the booke of life.
3 E peço também a você, fiel companheiro de jugo, que auxilie essas mulheres, pois juntas se esforçaram comigo no evangelho, juntamente com Clemente e com os demais cooperadores meus, cujos nomes se encontram no Livro da Vida.
4 Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.
4 Alegrem-se sempre no Senhor; outra vez digo: alegrem-se!
5 Let your patient minde be knowen vnto all men. The Lord is at hand.
5 Que a moderação de vocês seja conhecida por todos. Perto está o Senhor.
6 Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes.
6 Não fiquem preocupados com coisa alguma, mas, em tudo, sejam conhecidos diante de Deus os pedidos de vocês, pela oração e pela súplica, com ações de graças.
7 And the peace of God which passeth all vnderstanding, shall preserue your heartes and mindes in Christ Iesus.
7 E a paz de Deus, que excede todo entendimento, guardará o coração e a mente de vocês em Cristo Jesus.
8 Furthermore, brethre, whatsoeuer things are true, whatsoeuer things are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges are worthie loue, whatsoeuer things are of good report, if there be any vertue, or if there be any praise, thinke on these things,
8 Finalmente, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é respeitável, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama, se alguma virtude há e se algum louvor existe, seja isso o que ocupe o pensamento de vocês.
9 Which yee haue both learned and receiued, and heard, and seene in mee: those things doe, and the God of peace shalbe with you.
9 O que também aprenderam, receberam e ouviram de mim, e o que viram em mim, isso ponham em prática; e o Deus da paz estará com vocês.
10 Nowe I reioyce also in the Lord greatly, that nowe at the last your care for mee springeth afresh, wherein notwithstanding ye were careful, but yee lacked opportunitie.
10 Fiquei muito alegre no Senhor porque, agora, uma vez mais, renasceu o cuidado que vocês têm por mim. Na verdade, vocês já tinham esse cuidado antes, só que lhes faltava oportunidade.
11 I speake not because of want: for I haue learned in whatsoeuer state I am, therewith to bee content.
11 Digo isto, não porque esteja necessitado, porque aprendi a viver contente em toda e qualquer situação.
12 And I can be abased, and I can abounde: euery where in all things I am instructed, both to be full, and to be hungrie, and to abounde, and to haue want.
12 Sei o que é passar necessidade e sei também o que é ter em abundância; aprendi o segredo de toda e qualquer circunstância, tanto de estar alimentado como de ter fome, tanto de ter em abundância como de passar necessidade.
13 I am able to do al things through the helpe of Christ, which strengtheneth me.
13 Tudo posso naquele que me fortalece.
14 Notwithstanding yee haue well done, that yee did communicate to mine affliction.
14 No entanto, vocês fizeram bem, associando-se comigo nas aflições.
15 And yee Philippians knowe also that in the beginning of the Gospell, when I departed from Macedonia, no Church communicated with me, concerning the matter of giuing and receiuing, but yee onely.
15 E como vocês, filipenses, sabem muito bem, no início da pregação do evangelho, quando parti da Macedônia, nenhuma igreja se associou comigo nessa questão de dar e receber, exceto vocês, somente.
16 For euen when I was in Thessalonica, yee sent once, and afterward againe for my necessitie,
16 Porque até quando eu estava em Tessalônica, por mais de uma vez vocês mandaram o bastante para as minhas necessidades.
17 Not that I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit which may further your reckoning.
17 Não que eu esteja pedindo ajuda, pois o que realmente me interessa é o fruto que aumente o crédito na conta de vocês.
18 Now I haue receiued all, and haue plentie: I was euen filled, after that I had receiued of Epaphroditus that which came from you, an odour that smellleth sweete, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasant to God.
18 Recebi tudo e tenho até de sobra. Estou suprido, desde que Epafrodito me entregou o que vocês me mandaram, que é uma oferta de aroma agradável, um sacrifício que Deus aceita e que lhe agrada.
19 And my God shall fulfill all your necessities through his riches with glorie in Iesus Christ.
19 E o meu Deus, segundo a sua riqueza em glória, há de suprir, em Cristo Jesus, tudo aquilo de que vocês precisam.
20 Vnto God euen our Father be praise for euermore, Amen.
20 A nosso Deus e Pai seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém!
21 Salute all the Saintes in Christ Iesus. The brethren, which are with me, greete you.
21 Saúdem cada um dos santos em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo mandam saudações.
22 All the Saintes salute you, and most of all they which are of Cesars houshold.
22 Todos os santos mandam saudações, especialmente os da casa de César.
23 The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, Amen. ‘Written to the Philippians from Rome, and sent by Epaphroditus.’
23 A graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com o espírito de vocês.
