1 In the fiue and twentieth yeere of our being in captiuitie, in the beginning of the yeere, in the tenth day of the moneth, in the fourteenth yeere after that the citie was smitten, in the selfe same day, the hande of the Lord was vpon mee, and brought me thither.
1 O que vou contar aconteceu no dia dez do ano novo, vinte e cinco anos depois de termos sido levados para o cativeiro e catorze anos depois que Jerusalém foi tomada. Naquele dia, senti a presença poderosa do Senhor .
2 Into the lande of Israel brought he me by a diuine vision, and set me vpon a very hie mountaine, whereupon was as the building of a citie, toward the South.
2 Numa visão, Deus me levou à terra de Israel e me pôs numa montanha muito alta. Na minha frente, vi um grupo de prédios que parecia uma cidade.
3 And he brought me thither, and beholde, there was a man, whose similitude was to looke to, like brasse, with a linnen thread in his hand, and a reede to measure with: and he stoode at the gate.
3 Ele me levou mais para perto, e vi um homem que parecia de bronze . Ele estava de pé, junto ao lado do portão, e segurava uma fita de medir, feita de linho, e uma vara de medir.
4 And the man said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde with thine eyes, and heare with thine eares, and set thine heart vpon all that I shall shew thee: for to the intent, that they might be shewed thee, art thou brought hither: declare al that thou seest, vnto the house of Israel.
4 Ele me disse: —
5 And beholde, I sawe a wall on the outside of the house round about: and in the mans hand was a reede to measure with, of sixe cubites long, by the cubite, and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the buylding with one reede, and the height with one reede.
5 Vi um templo, que era cercado por uma muralha. O homem pegou a vara de medir, que tinha três metros de comprimento, e mediu a muralha. A altura era de três metros, e a grossura também.
6 Then came he vnto the gate, which looketh towarde the East, and went vp the stayres thereof, and measured the poste of the gate, which was one reede broade, and the other poste of the gate, which was one reede broade.
6 Então ele foi até o portão do lado leste e subiu a escadaria. No alto, mediu a entrada: tinha três metros de extensão.
7 And euery chamber was one reede long, and one reede broad, and betweene the chambers were fiue cubites: and the post of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reede.
7 Adiante havia uma passagem, com três salas de cada lado. Cada uma das salas era quadrada e media três metros de cada lado, e as paredes entre elas tinham dois metros e meio. Depois das salas havia uma passagem de três metros de comprimento, que dava para um salão que ficava em frente do Templo. Ele mediu esse salão e notou que tinha quatro metros de extensão. 8 He measured also the porche of the gate within with one reede.

9 Then measured he the porch of the gate of eight cubites, and the postes thereof, of two cubites, and the porch of the gate was inward.

10 And the chambers of the gate Eastwarde, were three on this side, and three on that side: they three were of one measure, and the postes had one measure on this side, and one on that side.
10 Essas salas de cada lado da passagem eram todas do mesmo tamanho, e as paredes entre elas eram todas da mesma grossura.
11 And he measured the breadth of the entrie of the gate ten cubites, and the height of the gate thirteene cubites.
11 Em seguida, o homem mediu a largura da passagem do portão, e era de seis metros e meio; e o espaço entre os portões, quando abertos, era de cinco metros.
12 The space also before the chambers was one cubite on this side, and the space was one cubite on that side, and the chambers were sixe cubites on this side and sixe cubites on that side.
12 Em frente de cada uma das salas havia uma mureta, que tinha meio metro de altura e meio metro de grossura. Essas salas tinham três metros de cada lado.
13 He measured then the gate from the roufe of a chamber to the toppe of the gate: the breadth was fiue and twentie cubites, doore against doore.
13 Depois, o homem mediu a distância da parede dos fundos de uma sala até a parede dos fundos da sala do outro lado da passagem, e deu doze metros e meio.
14 He made also postes of threescore cubites, and the postes of the court, and of the gate had one measure round about.
14 O salão da extremidade dava num pátio. Ele mediu o salão e viu que tinha dez metros de largura.
15 And vpon the forefront of the entry of the gate vnto the forefront of the porch of the gate within were fiftie cubites.
15 O comprimento total da passagem, de fora da porta até a parede mais distante, na última sala, era de vinte e cinco metros.
16 And there were narrowe windowes in the chambers, and in their postes within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and the windowes went rounde about within: and vpon the postes were palme trees.
16 Havia pequenas janelas nas paredes de fora de todas as salas e também nas paredes de dentro. Figuras de palmeiras estavam gravadas nas paredes de dentro, que davam para a passagem.
17 Then brought he me into the outwarde court, and lo, there were chambers, and a pauement made for the court round about, and thirtie chambers were vpon the pauement.
17 Em seguida, o homem me levou ao pátio de fora. Havia trinta salas encostadas na parede de fora, e na frente delas havia uma área calçada de pedras,
18 And the pauement was by the side of the gates ouer against the length of the gates, and the pauement was beneath.
18 em volta de todo o pátio. O pátio de fora ficava mais baixo do que o pátio de dentro.
19 Then hee measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate without, vnto the forefront of the court within, an hundreth cubits Eastward and Northward.
19 Havia um portão em nível mais alto que dava para o pátio de dentro. O homem mediu a distância entre os dois portões, e era de cinquenta metros.
20 And the gate of the outwarde court, that looked toward the North, measured he after the length and breadth thereof.
20 Depois, o homem mediu o portão do norte, que dava para o pátio de fora.
21 And the chambers thereof were, three on this side, and three on that side, and the postes thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
21 As três salas de cada lado da passagem, as paredes que ficavam entre elas e também o salão tinham as mesmas medidas do portão do lado leste. O comprimento total era de vinte e cinco metros; e a largura, doze metros e meio.
22 And their windowes, and their arches with their palme trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the East, and the going vp vnto it had seuen steppes, and the arches therof were before them.
22 O salão, as janelas e as figuras de palmeiras gravadas eram iguais aos do portão do lado leste. Havia uma escada de sete degraus, que ia até o portão. E o salão estava no fim, de frente para o pátio.
23 And the gate of the inner court stoode ouer against the gate towarde the North, and towarde the East, and hee measured from gate to gate an hundreth cubites.
23 Do outro lado do pátio desse portão do norte havia uma entrada que dava para o pátio de dentro, igual à do lado leste. O homem mediu a distância entre esses dois portões, e deu cinquenta metros.
24 After that, he brought mee towarde the South, and loe, there was a gate towarde the South, and hee measured the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures.
24 Depois, o homem me levou para o lado sul, e lá vi outro portão. Ele o mediu, e era do mesmo tamanho que os outros.
25 And there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof round about, like those windowes: the height was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
25 Nas salas desse portão havia janelas, exatamente como nos outros. O comprimento total era de vinte e cinco metros; e a largura, doze metros e meio.
26 And there were seuen steps to go vp to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palme trees, one on this side, and another on that side vpon the post thereof.
26 Havia uma escada de sete degraus, que ia até o portão; e o seu salão também estava no fim, de frente para o pátio. Figuras de palmeiras estavam gravadas nas paredes de dentro, que davam para a passagem.
27 And there was a gate in the inner court towarde the South, and he measured from gate to gate towarde the South an hundreth cubites.
27 Aqui também havia um portão que dava para o pátio de dentro. O homem mediu, e a distância até esse segundo portão era de cinquenta metros.
28 And he brought me into the inner court by the South gate, and he measured the South gate according to these measures,
28 O homem me levou pelo portão do sul até o pátio de dentro. Ele mediu o portão, e era do mesmo tamanho que os outros. As suas salas, o seu salão e as suas paredes de dentro eram iguais aos dos outros portões. Nas salas desse portão também havia janelas. O comprimento total era de vinte e cinco metros; e a largura, doze metros e meio.
29 And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures, and there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof rounde about, it was fiftie cubites long and fiue and twentie cubites broade.

31 And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
31 Havia um salão que dava para o pátio de fora, e por toda a passagem havia figuras de palmeiras gravadas nas paredes. Havia uma escada de oito degraus, que ia até esse portão.
32 Againe he brought me into ye inner court toward the East, and he measured the gate according to these measures.
32 O homem me levou pelo portão do lado leste até o pátio de dentro. Ele mediu o portão, e era do mesmo tamanho que os outros.
33 And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof were according to these measures, and there were windowes therein, and in the arches thereof round about, it was fiftie cubites long, and fiue and twentie cubites broade.
33 As suas salas, o seu salão e as suas paredes de dentro tinham as mesmas medidas que os outros portões. Havia janelas em toda a volta e também no salão. O comprimento total era de vinte e cinco metros; e a largura, doze metros e meio.
34 And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, on this side and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
34 O salão dava para o pátio de fora, e por toda a passagem havia figuras de palmeiras gravadas nas paredes. Havia uma escada de oito degraus, que ia até esse portão.
35 After he brought mee to the North gate, and measured it, according to these measures,
35 Então o homem me levou até o portão do norte. Ele o mediu, e era do mesmo tamanho que os outros.
36 The chambers thereof, the postes thereof, and the arches thereof, and there were windowes therein round about: the height was fiftie cubits, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
36 Esse portão também tinha salas, paredes inteiras enfeitadas, um salão e janelas em toda a volta. O comprimento total era de vinte e cinco metros; e a largura, doze metros e meio.
37 And the postes thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof on this side, and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steps.
37 O salão dava para o pátio de fora, e por toda a passagem havia figuras de palmeiras gravadas nas paredes. Havia uma escada de oito degraus, que ia até esse portão.
38 And euery chamber, and the entrie thereof was vnder the postes of the gates: there they washed the burnt offring.
38 No pátio de fora havia uma sala ligada com o portão de dentro. Essa sala dava para o salão que ficava em frente do pátio. Aí eram lavadas as partes dos animais que eram completamente queimados como sacrifícios .
39 And in the porch of the gate stoode two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, vpon the which they slew the burnt offring, and the sinne offring, and the trespas offring.
39 Havia quatro mesas, duas de cada lado do salão. Nessas mesas, matavam os animais que eram oferecidos em sacrifício, não só os que eram completamente queimados, mas também os que eram oferecidos para tirar pecados ou culpas.
40 And at the side beyond the steppes, at the entry of the North gate stoode two tables, and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate were two tables.
40 Do lado de fora do salão também havia quatro mesas, duas de cada lado da entrada da porta do norte.
41 Foure tables were on this side, and foure tables on that side by the side of the gate, euen eight tables whereupon they slew their sacrifice.
41 Assim, havia quatro mesas dentro do salão, e quatro fora, ao todo oito mesas, sobre as quais eram mortos os animais oferecidos em sacrifício.
42 And the foure tables were of hewen stone for the burnt offering, of a cubite and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade, and one cubite hie: whereupon also they layde the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offring and the sacrifice.
42 As quatro mesas, em cima das quais se preparavam os animais que iam ser completamente queimados, eram de pedra cortada. Tinham meio metro de altura e setenta e cinco centímetros tanto de comprimento como de largura. Sobre essas mesas eram colocados todos os instrumentos usados para matar os animais que iam ser oferecidos em sacrifício.
43 And within were borders an hand broade, fastened round about, and vpon the tables lay the flesh of the offring.
43 Em volta das mesas havia abas de sete centímetros e meio de largura. A carne que ia ser oferecida em sacrifício era colocada em cima das mesas.
44 And without the inner gate were ye chambers of the singers in the inner Court, which was at the side of the North gate: and their prospect was towarde the South, and one was at the side of the East gate, hauing the prospect towarde the North.
44 Então ele me levou para o pátio de dentro, onde havia duas salas. Uma, com frente para o sul, ficava ao lado do portão do norte; a outra, com frente para o norte, ficava ao lado do portão do sul.
45 And he said vnto me, This chamber whose prospect is towarde the South, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the house.
45 O homem me disse que a sala com frente para o sul era para os sacerdotes que trabalhavam no Templo
46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the North, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the altar: these are the sonnes of Zadok among ye sonnes of Leui which may come neere to the Lord to minister vnto him.
46 e a sala com frente para o norte era para os sacerdotes que faziam o serviço do altar. Todos os sacerdotes eram descendentes de Zadoque, que era da tribo de Levi. Só eles tinham o direito de entrar na presença do Senhor para servi-lo.
47 So he measured the court, an hundreth cubites long, and an hundreth cubits broad, eue foure square: likewise the altar that was before ye house.
47 O homem mediu o pátio de dentro: era quadrado, tendo cinquenta metros de lado. Na frente do Templo havia um altar.
48 And hee brought mee to the porch of the house, and measured the postes of the porch, fiue cubites on this side, and fiue cubites on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubites on this side, and three cubites on that side.
48 O homem me levou até o salão de entrada do Templo. Ele mediu a passagem, na entrada, e tinha dois metros e meio de comprimento por sete de largura. E nos dois lados havia muros de um metro e meio de grossura.
49 The length of the porch was twentie cubites, and ye breadth eleuen cubites, and he brought me by the steps whereby they went vp to it, and there were pillars by the postes, one on this side, and another on that side.
49 O salão de entrada tinha dez metros de comprimento por seis de largura, e havia degraus para subir até lá. Havia duas colunas, uma de cada lado da entrada.
