1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, and say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord.
1 Tu, ó filho do homem, profetiza aos montes de Israel, e dize: Montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,
2 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Pois que disse o inimigo contra vós: Ah! ah! e: As alturas antigas são nossas para as possuirmos;
3 Therefore prophesie, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, and swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, and ye are come vnto the lippes and tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people,
3 portanto, profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Porquanto, sim, porquanto vos assolaram e vos devoraram de todos os lados, para que ficásseis feitos herança do resto das nações, e tendes andado em lábios paroleiros, e chegastes a ser a infâmia do povo;
4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled and had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about.
4 portanto, ouvi, ó montes de Israel, a palavra do Senhor Deus: Assim diz o Senhor Deus aos montes e aos outeiros, às correntes d'água e aos vales, aos desertos assolados e às cidades desamparadas, que se tornaram presa e escárnio para o resto das nações que estão ao redor delas;
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.
5 portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Certamente no fogo do meu zelo falei contra o resto das nações, e contra todo o Edom, que se apropriaram da minha terra, com toda a alegria de seu coração, e com menosprezo da alma, para a lançarem fora a rapina;
6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen,
6 portanto, profetiza sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes e aos outeiros, às correntes d'água e aos vales: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que falei no meu zelo e no meu furor, porque levastes sobre vós o opróbrio das nações.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shall beare their shame.
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eu levantei a minha mão, jurando: Certamente as nações que estão ao redor de vós levarão o seu opróbrio sobre si mesmas.
8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come.
8 Mas vós, ó montes de Israel, vós produzireis os vossos ramos, e dareis o vosso fruto para o meu povo de Israel, pois já está prestes a vir.
9 For behold, I come vnto you, and I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen.
9 pois eis que eu estou convosco, e eu me voltarei para vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados;
10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, and the cities shalbe inhabited, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
10 e multiplicarei homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, a toda ela; e as cidades serão habitadas, e os lugares devastados serão edificados.
11 And I wil multiply vpon you man and beast, and they shall encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, and I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
11 Também sobre vós multiplicarei homens e animais, e eles se multiplicarão, e frutificarão. E farei que sejais habitados como dantes, e vos tratarei melhor do que nos vossos princípios. Então sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shall no more henceforth depriue them of men.
12 E sobre vós farei andar homens, o meu povo de Israel; eles te possuirão, e tu serás a sua herança, e nunca mais os desfilharás.
13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, and hast bene a waster of thy people,
13 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Visto como vos dizem: Tu devoras os homens, e tens desfilhado a tua nação;
14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God,
14 por isso tu não devorarás mais os homens, nem desfilharás mais a tua nação, diz o Senhor Deus.
15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God.
15 Não te permitirei ouvir mais a afronta das nações; e não levaras mais sobre ti o opróbrio dos povos, nem farás tropeçar mais a tua nação, diz o Senhor Deus.
16 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
16 Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, and by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous.
17 Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel habitava na sua terra, então eles a contaminaram com os seus caminhos e com as suas ações. Como a imundícia de uma mulher em sua separação, tal era o seu caminho diante de mim.
18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it.
18 Derramei, pois, o meu furor sobre eles, por causa do sangue que derramaram sobre a terra, e porque a contaminaram com os seus ídolos;
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries for according to their wayes, and according to their deedes, I iudged them.
19 e os espalhei entre as nações, e foram dispersos pelas terras; conforme os seus caminhos, e conforme os seus feitos, eu os julguei.
20 And when they entred vnto the heathen, whither they went, they polluted mine holy Name, when they sayd of them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone out of his land.
20 E, chegando às nações para onde foram, profanaram o meu santo nome, pois se dizia deles: São estes o povo do Senhor, e tiveram de sair da sua terra.
21 But I fauoured mine holy Name which the house of Israel had polluted among the heathen, whither they went.
21 Mas eu os poupei por amor do meu santo nome, que a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde foi.
22 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went.
22 Dize portanto à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Não é por amor de vós que eu faço isto, o casa de Israel; mas em atenção ao meu santo nome, que tendes profanado entre as nações para onde fostes;
23 And I wil sanctifie my great Name, which was polluted among the heathen, among whome you haue polluted it, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, sayth the Lord God, when I shalbe sanctified in you before their eyes.
23 e eu santificarei o meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual profanastes no meio delas; e as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor, diz o Senhor Deus, quando eu for santificado aos seus olhos.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your owne land.
24 Pois vos tirarei dentre as nações, e vos congregarei de todos os países, e vos trarei para a vossa terra.
25 Then wil I powre cleane water vpon you, and ye shalbe cleane: yea, from all your filthines, and from all your idoles wil I clense you.
25 Então aspergirei água pura sobre vós, e ficareis purificados; de todas as vossas imundícias, e de todos os vossos ídolos, vos purificarei.
26 A newe heart also will I giue you, and a new spirit wil I put within you, and I will take away the stonie heart out of your body, and I will giue you an heart of flesh.
26 Também vos darei um coração novo, e porei dentro de vós um espírito novo; e tirarei da vossa carne o coração de pedra, e vos darei um coração de carne.
27 And I will put my spirite within you, and cause you to walke in my statutes, and ye shall keepe my iudgements and do them.
27 Ainda porei dentro de vós o meu Espírito, e farei que andeis nos meus estatutos, e guardeis as minhas ordenanças, e as observeis.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land, that I gaue to your fathers, and ye shalbe my people, and I will be your God.
28 E habitareis na terra que eu dei a vossos pais, e vós sereis o meu povo, e eu serei o vosso Deus.
29 I will also deliuer you from all your filthinesse, and I will call for corne, and will increase it, and lay no famine vpon you.
29 Pois eu vos livrarei de todas as vossas imundícias; e chamarei o trigo, e o multiplicarei, e não trarei fome sobre vós;
30 For I will multiplie the fruite of the trees, and the increase of the fielde, that ye shall beare no more the reproch of famine among the heathen.
30 mas multiplicarei o fruto das árvores, e a novidade do campo, para que não mais recebais o opróbrio da fome entre as nações.
31 Then shall ye remember your owne wicked wayes, and your deedes that were not good, and shall iudge your selues worthie to haue bene destroyed for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
31 Então vos lembrareis dos vossos maus caminhos, e dos vossos feitos que não foram bons; e tereis nojo em vós mesmos das vossas iniqüidades e das vossas abominações.
32 Be it knowen vnto you that I do not this for your sakes, sayth the Lord God: therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed, and confounded for your owne wayes.
32 Não é por amor de vós que eu faço isto, diz o Senhor Deus, notório vos seja; envergonhai-vos, e confundi-vos por causa dos vossos caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
33 Thus sayth the Lord God, What time as I shall haue clensed you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwel in the cities, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
33 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: No dia em que eu vos purificar de todas as vossas iniqüidades, então farei com que sejam habitadas as cidades e sejam edificados os lugares devastados.
34 And the desolate land shalbe tilled, whereas it lay waste in the sight of all that passed by.
34 E a terra que estava assolada será lavrada, em lugar de ser uma desolação aos olhos de todos os que passavam.
35 For they sayd, This waste land was like the garden of Eden, and these waste and desolate and ruinous cities were strong, and were inhabited.
35 E dirão: Esta terra que estava assolada tem-se tornado como jardim do Eden; e as cidades solitárias, e assoladas, e destruídas, estão fortalecidas e habitadas.
36 Then the residue of the heathen that are left round about you, shall know that I the Lord builde the ruinous places, and plant the desolate places: I the Lord haue spoken it, and wil do it.
36 Então as nações que ficarem de resto em redor de vós saberão que eu, o Senhor, tenho reedificado as cidades destruídas, e plantado o que estava devastado. Eu, o Senhor, o disse, e o farei.
37 Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be sought of ye house of Israel, to performe it vnto them: I wil encrease them with men like a flocke.
37 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Ainda por isso serei consultado da parte da casa de Israel, que lho faça; multiplicá-los-ei como a um rebanho.
38 As the holy flocke, as the flocke of Ierusalem in their solemne feastes, so shall the desolate cities be filled with flockes of men, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
38 Como o rebanho para os sacrifícios, como o rebanho de Jerusalém nas suas solenidades, assim as cidades desertas se encherão de famílias; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
