1 And I heard a great voyce out of the Temple, saying to the seuen Angels, Go your wayes, and powre out the seuen vials of the wrath of God vpon the earth.
1 Ouvi uma voz forte, vinda do santuário, dizendo aos sete anjos: — Vão e derramem sobre a terra as sete taças da ira de Deus.
2 And the first went and powred out his viall vpon the earth: and there fell a noysome, and a grieuous sore vpon the men, which had the marke of ye beast, and vpon them which worshipped his image.
2 O primeiro anjo foi e derramou a sua taça sobre a terra, e apareceram úlceras malignas e dolorosas nas pessoas que tinham a marca da besta e que adoravam a sua imagem.
3 And the second Angel powred out his viall vpon the sea, and it became as the blood of a dead man: and euery liuing thing dyed in the sea.
3 O segundo anjo derramou a sua taça no mar, e o mar se transformou em sangue, como de um morto, e morreu todo ser vivo que havia no mar.
4 And the third Angel powred out his viall vpon the riuers and fountaines of waters, and they became blood.
4 O terceiro anjo derramou a sua taça nos rios e nas fontes de água, e eles se transformaram em sangue.
5 And I heard the Angel of the waters say, Lord, thou art iust, Which art, and Which wast: and Holy, because thou hast iudged these things.
5 Então ouvi o anjo das águas dizendo: “Tu és justo, tu que és e que eras, o Santo, pois julgaste estas coisas.
6 For they shed the blood of the Saints, and Prophets, and therefore hast thou giuen them blood to drinke: for they are worthy.
6 Porque derramaram sangue de santos e de profetas, também lhes deste sangue para beber. É o que merecem.”
7 And I heard another out of the Sanctuarie say, Euen so, Lord God almightie, true and righteous are thy iudgements.
7 Ouvi uma voz do altar, que dizia: “Certamente, ó Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso, verdadeiros e justos são os teus juízos.”
8 And the fourth Angel powred out his viall on the sunne, and it was giuen vnto him to torment men with heate of fire,
8 O quarto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o sol, e lhe foi dado queimar a humanidade com fogo.
9 And men boyled in great heate, and blasphemed the Name of God, which hath power ouer these plagues, and they repented not, to giue him glorie.
9 As pessoas se queimaram com o intenso calor e blasfemaram contra o nome de Deus, que tem autoridade sobre estes flagelos. Porém, não se arrependeram para darem glória a Deus.
10 And the fifth Angel powred out his viall vpon the throne of the beast, and his kingdome waxed darke, and they gnawed their tongues for sorowe,
10 O quinto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o trono da besta. O reino da besta ficou em trevas, e as pessoas mordiam a língua por causa da dor que sentiam
11 And blasphemed the God of heauen for their paines, and for their sores, and repented not of their workes.
11 e blasfemavam contra o Deus do céu por causa das angústias e das úlceras que sofriam. Porém, não se arrependeram de suas obras.
12 And the sixth Angel powred out his viall vpon the great riuer Euphrates, and the water thereof dried vp, that the way of the Kings of the East should be prepared.
12 O sexto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates. As águas do rio secaram, para que se preparasse o caminho dos reis que vêm do Oriente.
13 And I sawe three vncleane spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of that dragon, and out of the mouth of that beast, and out of the mouth of that false prophet.
13 Então vi sair da boca do dragão, da boca da besta e da boca do falso profeta três espíritos imundos semelhantes a rãs.
14 For they are the spirits of deuils, working miracles, to go vnto the Kings of the earth, and of the whole world, to gather them to the battell of that great day of God Almightie.
14 São espíritos de demônios, operadores de sinais, e se dirigem aos reis do mundo inteiro a fim de ajuntá-los para a batalha do grande Dia do Deus Todo-Poderoso.
15 (Beholde, I come as a theefe. Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments, least hee walke naked, and men see his filthines)
15 “Eis que venho como vem o ladrão. Bem-aventurado aquele que vigia e guarda as suas vestes, para que não ande nu, e não se veja a sua vergonha.”
16 And they gathered them together into a place called in Hebrewe Arma-gedon.
16 Então ajuntaram os reis no lugar que em hebraico se chama Armagedom.
17 And the seuenth Angel powred out his viall into the ayre: and there came a loude voyce out of the Temple of heauen from the throne, saying, It is done.
17 Então o sétimo anjo derramou a sua taça pelo ar. E uma voz forte saiu do santuário, do lado do trono, dizendo: — Está feito!
18 And there were voyces, and thundrings, and lightnings, and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were vpon the earth, euen so mightie an earthquake.
18 E sobrevieram relâmpagos, vozes e trovões, e ocorreu um grande terremoto, como nunca houve igual desde que há gente sobre a terra, tal foi o terremoto, forte e grande.
19 And the great citie was deuided into three partes, and the cities of the nations fell: and that great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to giue vnto her the cup of the wine of the fiercenesse of his wrath.
19 E a grande cidade se dividiu em três partes, e caíram as cidades das nações. E Deus se lembrou da grande Babilônia para dar-lhe o cálice do vinho do furor da sua ira.
20 And euery yle fled away, and the mountaines were not found.
20 Todas as ilhas fugiram, e os montes não foram achados.
21 And there fell a great haile, like talents, out of heauen vpon the men, and men blasphemed God, because of the plague of the haile: for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
21 Também desabou do céu sobre as pessoas uma grande chuva de granizo, com pedras que pesavam mais de trinta quilos. E, por causa do flagelo da chuva de pedras, as pessoas blasfemaram contra Deus, porque esse flagelo do granizo era terrível.
