1 Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.
1 E Eliseu, o profeta, chamou um dos filhos dos profetas, e disse-lhe: Cinge os teus lombos, e toma esta caixa de azeite na tua mão, e vai até Ramote-Gileade;
2 And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.
2 e quando tu fores para lá, procura Jeú, o filho de Josafá, o filho de Ninsi, e entra, e faz com que ele se levante dentre os seus irmãos, e leva-o para uma câmara interior;
3 Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.
3 então, toma a caixa de azeite, e a derrama sobre a sua cabeça, e diz: Assim diz o SENHOR: Tenho te ungido rei sobre Israel. Então, abre a porta, e foge, e não te detenhas.
4 So the seruat of ye Prophet gate him to Ramoth Gilead.
4 Assim, o jovem profeta foi até Ramote-Gileade.
5 And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.
5 E, quando ele chegou, eis que os capitães do exército estavam assentados; e ele disse: Eu tenho um recado para ti, ó capitão. E Jeú disse: Para qual dentre todos nós? E ele disse: Para ti, ó capitão.
6 And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.
6 E ele se levantou, e entrou na casa; e derramou o azeite sobre a sua cabeça, e lhe disse: Assim diz o SENHOR Deus de Israel: Tenho te ungido rei sobre o povo do SENHOR, a saber, sobre Israel.
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may auenge the blood of my seruants the Prophets, and the blood of al the seruants of the Lord of the hand of Iezebel.
7 E tu ferirás a casa de Acabe, o teu mestre, para que eu possa vingar o sangue dos meus servos, os profetas, e o sangue de todos os servos do SENHOR, da mão de Jezabel.
8 For the whole house of Ahab shalbe destroied: and I will cut off from Ahab, him that maketh water against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel.
8 Porque toda a casa de Acabe perecerá; e eu cortarei de Acabe aquele que mija contra a parede, e aquele que está escravo e livre em Israel;
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah.
9 e eu farei a casa de Acabe como a casa de Jeroboão, o filho de Nebate, e como a casa de Baasa, o filho de Aías;
10 And the dogges shall eate Iezebel in the fielde of Izreel, and there shalbe none to burie her. And he opened the doore, and fled.
10 e os cães comerão Jezabel na porção de Jezreel, e não haverá ali nenhum para enterrá-la. E ele abriu a porta, e fugiu.
11 Then Iehu came out to the seruants of his lord. And one sayd vnto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellowe to thee? And hee sayde vnto them, Ye knowe the man, and what his talke was.
11 Então, Jeú saiu até aos servos do seu senhor; e um lhe disse: Está tudo bem? Por que este louco veio até ti? E ele disse-lhes: Vós conheceis o homem e a sua comunicação.
12 And they sayde, It is false, tell vs it nowe. Then he sayd, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saieth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel.
12 E eles disseram: Isto é falso; conta-nos agora. E disse-lhe: Assim e assim falou ele a mim, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR: Tenho te ungido rei sobre Israel.
13 Then they made haste, and tooke euerie man his garment, and put it vnder him on the top of the staires, and blewe the trumpet, saying, Iehu is King.
13 Então eles apressaram-se, e tomando cada um a sua vestimenta puseram debaixo dele, no alto das escadarias, e sopraram as trombetas, dizendo: Jeú é rei.
14 So Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat the sonne of Nimshi conspired against Ioram: (Now Ioram kept Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael King of Aram.
14 Assim, Jeú, o filho de Josafá, o filho de Ninsi, conspirou contra Jorão. (Ora, Jorão havia aprisionado Ramote-Gileade, ele e todo o Israel, por causa de Hazael, rei da Síria.
15 And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the woundes, which the Aramites had giuen him, when hee fought with Hazael King of Aram) and Iehu sayde, If it be your mindes, let no man depart and escape out of the citie, to goe and tell in Izreel.
15 Porém o rei Jorão havia retornado a Jezreel para ser curado dos ferimentos que os sírios lhe haviam causado, quando ele lutou contra Hazael, rei da Síria). E Jeú disse: Se isto está em vossas mentes, então que ninguém saia nem escape da cidade para ir e contar isto em Jezreel.
16 So Iehu gate vp into a charet, and went to Izreel: for Ioram lay there, and Ahaziah King of Iudah was come downe to see Ioram.
16 Assim, Jeú subiu em uma carruagem, e foi até Jezreel; porque Jorão ali estava deitado. E Acazias, rei de Judá, havia descido para ver Jorão.
17 And the watchman that stoode in the towre in Izreel spyed the companie of Iehu as hee came, and sayd, I see a companie. And Iehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meete them, that hee may say, Is it peace?
17 E um atalaia estava ali de pé sobre a torre em Jezreel, e ele espionava a companhia de Jeú enquanto ele vinha, e disse: Vejo uma companhia. E Jorão disse: Toma um cavaleiro, e envia-o para se encontrar com eles, e que ele diga: Isto é paz?
18 So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me. And the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.
18 Assim lá se foi um em lombo de cavalo para se encontrar com ele, e disse: Assim diz o rei: Isto é paz? E Jeú disse: O que tens tu a fazer com a paz? Volve-te para trás de mim. E o atalaia contou, dizendo: O mensageiro chegou até eles, mas ele não retorna.
19 Then hee sent out another on horsebacke, which came to them, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu answered, What hast thou to doe with peace? turne behinde me.
19 Então, ele enviou um segundo em lombo de cavalo, o qual veio a eles, e disse: Assim diz o rei: Isto é paz? E Jeú respondeu: O que tens tu a fazer com a paz? Volve-te para trás de mim.
20 And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.
20 E o atalaia contou, dizendo: Ele chegou mesmo até eles, e não retorna; e o conduzir é semelhante ao conduzir de Jeú, o filho de Ninsi; pois conduz furiosamente.
21 Then Iehoram sayd, Make ready: and his charet was made ready. And Iehoram King of Israel and Ahaziah King of Iudah went out eyther of them in his charet against Iehu, and met him in the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite.
21 E Jorão disse: Preparai-vos. E a sua carruagem foi preparada. E Jorão, rei de Israel, e Acazias, rei de Judá saíram, cada um na sua carruagem, e eles saíram contra Jeú, e o encontraram na porção de Nabote, o jezreelita.
22 And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde, Is it peace, Iehu? And he answered, What peace? whiles the whoredomes of thy mother Iezebel, and her witchcraftes are yet in great nomber?
22 E sucedeu, quando Jorão viu Jeú, que ele disse: Isto é paz, Jeú? E ele respondeu: Que paz, enquanto as prostituições da tua mãe, Jezabel, e as suas feitiçarias são tantas?
23 Then Iehoram turned his hand, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treason.
23 E Jorão virou as suas mãos, e fugiu, e disse a Acazias: É traição, ó Acazias.
24 But Iehu tooke a bowe in his hande, and smote Iehoram betweene the shoulders, that the arowe went through his heart: and he fell downe in his charet.
24 E Jeú entesou um arco com toda a sua força, e feriu Jorão entre os seus braços, e a flecha saiu no seu coração, e ele afundou-se na sua carruagem.
25 Then said Iehu to Bidkar a captaine, Take, and cast him in some place of the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite: for I remember that when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord layed this burden vpon him.
25 Então, disse Jeú a Bidcar, o seu capitão: Levanta-o e lança-o na porção do campo de Nabote, o jezreelita; porque te lembras como, quando eu e tu cavalgávamos juntos atrás de Acabe, o seu pai, o SENHOR colocou esta carga sobre ele;
26 Surely I haue seene yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sonnes, saide the Lord, and I will render it thee in this fielde, saith the Lord: nowe therefore take and cast him in the fielde, according to the word of the Lord.
26 seguramente, ontem vi o sangue de Nabote, e o sangue dos seus filhos, diz o SENHOR; e eu me desforrarei de ti neste pedaço de terra, diz o SENHOR. Agora, portanto, toma-o e lança-o no pedaço de terra, segundo a palavra do SENHOR.
27 But when Ahaziah the King of Iudah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house: And Iehu pursued after him, and sayd, Smite him also in the charet: and they smote him in the going vp to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And hee fled to Megiddo, and there dyed.
27 Porém, quando Acazias, o rei de Judá, viu isto, ele fugiu pelo caminho da casa do jardim. E Jeú o perseguiu, e disse: Feri-o também na carruagem. E eles assim o fizeram na subida de Gur, a qual fica junto a Ibleão. E ele fugiu para Megido, e lá morreu.
28 And his seruants caried him in a charet to Ierusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the citie of Dauid.
28 E os seus servos o carregaram em uma carruagem até Jerusalém, e o sepultaram no seu sepulcro com os seus pais, na cidade de Davi.
29 And in the eleuenth yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab, began Ahaziah to reigne ouer Iudah.
29 E no décimo primeiro ano de Jorão, o filho de Acabe, começou a reinar Acazias sobre Judá.
30 And when Iehu was come to Izreel, Iezebel heard of it, and painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a windowe.
30 E quando Jeú chegou a Jezreel, Jezabel ouviu a respeito; e ela pintou a face, e ataviou a cabeça, e olhou por uma janela.
31 And as Iehu entred at the gate, shee sayde, Had Zimri peace, which slewe his master?
31 E quando Jeú entrou pelo portão, ela disse: Teve paz Zinri, que matou a seu senhor?
32 And he lift vp his eyes to the windowe, and sayd, Who is on my side, who? Then two or three of her Eunuches looked vnto him.
32 E ele levantou a sua face em direção à janela, e disse: Quem está do meu lado? Quem? E ali olhavam para ele dois ou três eunucos.
33 And he sayde, Cast her downe: and they cast her downe, and hee sprinkled of her blood vpon the wall, and vpon the horses, and he trode her vnder foote.
33 E ele disse: Lançai-a abaixo. Assim, eles a lançaram abaixo; e parte do seu sangue foi respingada na parede, e nos cavalos; e ele calcou-a sob os seus pés.
34 And when he was come in, he did eate and drinke, and sayde, Visite now yonder cursed woman, and burie her: for she is a Kings daughter.
34 E, quando ele havia entrado, ele comeu e bebeu, e disse: Ide e vede agora esta mulher maldita, e sepultai-a; porque ela é filha de um rei.
35 And they went to burie her, but they foud no more of her, then the skull and the feete, and the palmes of her handes.
35 E eles foram sepultá-la; mas dela não encontraram nada além da caveira, e os pés, e as palmas das suas mãos.
36 Wherefore they came agayne and tolde him. And he said, This is the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruant Eliiah the Tishbite, saying, In the fielde of Izreel shall ye dogs eate the flesh of Iezebel.
36 Pelo que eles retornaram, e contaram-lhe. E ele disse: Esta é a palavra do SENHOR, a qual ele falou pelo seu servo Elias, o tisbita, dizendo: Na porção de Jezreel os cães comerão a carne de Jezabel;
37 And the carkeis of Iezebel shalbe as doung vpon the ground in the field of Izreel, so that none shall say, This is Iezebel.
37 e a carcaça de Jezabel será como esterco sobre a face do campo na porção de Jezreel; de modo que não dirão: Esta é Jezabel.
