1 So was all the worke finished that Salomon made for the house of the Lord, and Salomon brought in the things that Dauid his father had dedicated, with the siluer and the golde, and all the vessels, and put them among the treasures of the house of God.
1 Assim, foi terminada toda a obra que Salomão fez para a casa do SENHOR; e Salomão trouxe para dentro todas as coisas que Davi, o seu pai consagrou; e a prata, e o ouro, e todos os instrumentos, ele colocou entre os tesouros da casa de Deus.
2 Then Salomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.
2 Então, Salomão reuniu em Jerusalém os anciãos de Israel, e todos os cabeças das tribos, os chefes dos pais dos filhos de Israel, para fazer subir a arca do pacto do SENHOR da cidade de Davi, que é Sião.
3 And all ye men of Israel assembled vnto the King at the feast: it was in ye seuenth moneth.
3 Porquanto todos os homens de Israel se reuniram diante do rei na festa, que era no sétimo mês.
4 And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke.
4 E todos os anciãos de Israel vieram, e os levitas ergueram a arca.
5 And they caried vp the Arke and the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle, those did the Priests and Leuites bring vp.
5 E trouxeram a arca e o tabernáculo da congregação, e todos os vasos sagrados que estavam no tabernáculo, e os sacerdotes e os levitas é que os fizeram subir.
6 And King Salomon and all the Congregation of Israel that were assembled vnto him, were before ye Arke, offring sheepe and bullocks, which could not be told nor nobred for multitude.
6 Então o rei Salomão, e toda a congregação de Israel, que estava reunida a ele diante da arca, sacrificaram ovelhas e bois, os quais não podiam ser contados ou enumerados por causa da sua multidão.
7 So the Priests brought the Arke of the couenant of the Lord vnto his place, into the Oracle of the house, into the most Holy place, euen vnder the wings of the Cherubims.
7 E os sacerdotes trouxeram para dentro a arca do pacto do SENHOR até o seu lugar, ao oráculo da casa, ao lugar santíssimo, bem debaixo das asas dos querubins;
8 For ye Cherubims stretched out their wings ouer the place of the Arke, and the Cherubims couered the Arke and the barres thereof aboue.
8 porque os querubins estendiam as suas asas sobre o lugar da arca, e os querubins cobriam, pelo alto, a arca e as suas hastes.
9 And they drewe out the barres, that the endes of the barres might bee seene out of the Arke before the Oracle, but they were not seene without: and there they are vnto this day.
9 E eles removeram as hastes da arca, de forma que as extremidades das hastes eram vistas da arca na frente do oráculo; mas elas não eram vistas na parte de fora. E ali ela está até este dia.
10 Nothing was in the Arke, saue the two Tables, which Moses gaue at Horeb, where the Lord made a couenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
10 Não havia nada na arca, salvo as duas tábuas que Moisés colocou nela em Horebe, quando o SENHOR fez um pacto com os filhos de Israel, quando eles saíram do Egito.
11 And when the Priestes were come out of the Sanctuarie (for all the Priests that were present, were sanctified and did not waite by course.
11 E sucedeu que, quando os sacerdotes saíram do santo lugar; (pois todos os sacerdotes que estavam presentes foram santificados, e, portanto, não observaram a sua equipe;
12 And the Leuites the singers of all sortes, as of Asaph, of Heman, of Ieduthun, and of their sonnes and of their brethren, being clad in fine linen, stoode with cymbales, and with violes and harpes at the East ende of the altar, and with them an hundreth and twentie Priestes blowing with trumpets:
12 também os levitas que eram os cantores, todos de Asafe, de Hemã, de Jedutum, com os seus filhos e seus irmãos, estando vestidos em linho branco, tendo címbalos e saltérios e harpas, ficaram na extremidade leste do altar, e com eles cento e vinte sacerdotes soando trombetas);
13 And they were as one, blowing trumpets, and singing, and made one sounde to bee heard in praysing and thanking the Lord, and when they lift vp their voyce with trumpets and with cymbales, and with instruments of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, singing, For he is good, because his mercie lasteth for euer) then the house, euen the house of the Lord was filled with a cloude,
13 sucedeu que, enquanto os trombeteiros e os cantores eram como um, para fazer um som para ser ouvido em louvor e gratidão ao SENHOR; e levantando eles a voz com trombetas, címbalos, e com outros instrumentos musicais, e louvaram ao SENHOR, dizendo: Pois ele é bom; porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre; que, então, a casa foi enchida por uma nuvem, a saber, a casa do SENHOR;
14 So that the Priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloude: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
14 de tal modo que os sacerdotes não conseguiam ficar de pé para ministrar em razão da nuvem; pois a glória do SENHOR encheu a casa de Deus.
