1 When Salomon had finished the building of the house of ye Lord, and the kings palace, and all that Salomon desired and minded to do,
1 E sucedeu, quando Salomão acabou de edificar a casa do SENHOR, e a casa do rei, e todo o desejo de Salomão, os quais ele se agradou em fazer,
2 Then the Lord appeared vnto Salomon the second time, as he appeared vnto him at Gibeon.
2 o SENHOR apareceu a Salomão pela segunda vez, como havia aparecido a ele em Gibeão.
3 And the Lord sayd vnto him, I haue heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I haue halowed this house (which thou hast built) to put my Name there for euer, and mine eyes, and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
3 E o SENHOR lhe disse: Ouvi a tua oração e a tua súplica, que fizeste diante de mim. Eu consagrei esta casa, que tu edificaste, para ali colocar o meu nome para sempre; e os meus olhos e o meu coração estarão ali perpetuamente.
4 And if thou wilt walke before mee (as Dauid thy father walked in purenesse of heart and in righteousnesse) to doe according to al that I haue commanded thee, and keepe my statutes, and my iudgements,
4 E se tu andares diante de mim, como Davi, o teu pai, andou, em integridade de coração, e em retidão, para fazer segundo tudo o que te tenho ordenado, e guardares os meus estatutos e os meus juízos;
5 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdome vpon Israel for euer, as I promised to Dauid thy father, saying, Thou shalt not want a man vpon the throne of Israel.
5 então, estabelecerei o trono do teu reino sobre Israel para sempre, como prometi a Davi, o teu pai, dizendo: Não te faltará um homem sobre o trono de Israel.
6 But if ye and your children turne away from mee, and wil not keepe my commandements, and my statutes (which I haue set before you) but go and serue other gods, and worship them,
6 Se vós, porém, insistirdes em se desviar de me seguir, vós e vossos filhos, e não guardardes os meus mandamentos e os meus estatutos, os quais coloquei diante de vós, mas fordes e servirdes a outros deuses, e os adorardes;
7 Then will I cutte off Israel from the lande, which I haue giuen them, and the house which I haue halowed for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a prouerbe, and a common talke among all people.
7 então, eu cortarei Israel da terra que eu lhes dei; e esta casa, que santifiquei para o meu nome, lançarei da minha vista; e Israel será um provérbio e um escárnio no meio de todo o povo;
8 Euen this hie house shall bee so: euery one that passeth by it, shalbe astonied, and shall hisse, and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus vnto this land and to this house?
8 e nesta casa, que é elevada, cada um que passar por ela ficará atônito, e assobiará; e dirão: Por que o SENHOR fez assim à sua terra, e a esta casa?
9 And they shall answere, Because they forsooke the Lord their God, which brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and haue taken holde vpon other gods, and haue worshipped them, and serued them, therfore hath the Lord brought vpon them all this euill.
9 E eles responderão: Porque eles abandonaram o SENHOR seu Deus, que retirou os seus pais da terra do Egito, e se apegaram a outros deuses, e os adoraram, e os serviram; portanto, o SENHOR trouxe sobre eles todo este mal.
10 And at the ende of twentie yeeres, when Salomon had buylded the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the Kings palace,
10 E sucedeu, ao fim de vinte anos, quando Salomão havia edificado as duas casas, a casa do SENHOR, e a casa do rei,
11 (For the which Hiram the King of Tyrus had brought to Salomon timber of cedar, and firre trees, and golde, and whatsoeuer he desired) then King Salomon gaue to Hiram twentie cities in the land of Galil.
11 (ora, Hirão, o rei de Tiro havia fornecido a Salomão as árvores de cedro e de cipreste, e ouro, segundo todo o seu desejo), que, então, o rei Salomão deu a Hirão vinte cidades na terra da Galileia.
12 And Hiram came out from Tyrus to see the cities which Salomon had giuen him, and they pleased him not.
12 E Hirão saiu de Tiro para ver as cidades que Salomão lhe havia concedido; e elas não lhe agradaram.
13 Therefore hee sayde, What cities are these which thou hast giuen me, my brother? And hee called them the land of Cabul vnto this day.
13 E ele disse: Que cidades são estas que tu me tens concedido, meu irmão? E ele as chamou de terra de Cabul até este dia.
14 And Hiram had sent the King sixe score talents of gold.
14 E Hirão enviou ao rei cento e vinte talentos de ouro.
15 And this is the cause of the tribute why King Salomon raised tribute, to wit, to builde the house of the Lord, and his owne house, and Millo, and the wall of Ierusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
15 E esta é a razão do tributo que o rei Salomão levantou; para edificar a casa do SENHOR, e a sua própria casa, e Milo, e a muralha de Jerusalém, e Hazor, e Megido e Gezer.
16 Pharaoh King of Egypt had come vp, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slew the Canaanites, that dwelt in the citie, and gaue it for a present vnto his daughter Salomons wife.
16 Porque Faraó, o rei do Egito, havia subido, e tomado Gezer, e a queimado com fogo, e matou os cananeus que habitavam na cidade, e a deu como presente à sua filha, esposa de Salomão.
17 (Therefore Salomon builte Gezer and Beth-horon the nether,
17 E Salomão edificou Gezer, e Bete-Horom de baixo.
18 And Baalath and Tamor in the wildernes of the land,
18 E Baalate, e Tadmor no deserto, na terra,
19 And all the cities of store, that Salomon had, euen cities for charets, and cities for horsemen, and all that Salomon desired and woulde build in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion)
19 e todas as cidades de armazenamento que Salomão tinha, e cidades para as suas carruagens, e cidades para os seus cavaleiros, e aquilo que Salomão desejou edificar em Jerusalém, e no Líbano, e em toda a terra do seu domínio.
20 Al the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hiuites, and Iebusites, which were not of the children of Israel:
20 E todas as pessoas que foram deixadas dos amorreus, heteus, ferezeus, heveus, e jebuseus, os quais não eram dos filhos de Israel,
21 To wit, their children that were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel were not able to destroy, those did Salomon make tributaries vnto this day.
21 os seus filhos que foram deixados depois deles na terra, aos quais os filhos de Israel também não foram capazes de destruir por completo, sobre aqueles Salomão lançou um tributo de trabalho servil até este dia.
22 But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no bondmen: but they were men of warre and his seruants, and his princes, and his captaines, and rulers of his charets and his horsemen.
22 Todavia, dos filhos de Israel Salomão não fez servos; no entanto, eles eram homens de guerra, e os seus servos, e os seus príncipes, e os seus capitães, e soberanos das suas carruagens, e dos seus cavaleiros.
23 These were the princes of the officers, that were ouer Salomons worke: euen fiue hundreth and fiftie, and they ruled the people that wrought in the worke.
23 Estes eram os chefes dos oficiais que estavam acima do trabalho de Salomão, quinhentos e cinquenta, os quais dominavam sobre o povo que executava a obra.
24 And Pharaohs daughter came vp from the citie of Dauid vnto the house which Salomon had built for her: then did he buylde Millo.
24 Contudo, a filha de Faraó subiu da cidade de Davi até a sua casa, que Salomão havia edificado para ela; então edificou a Milo.
25 And thrise a yere did Salomon offer burnt offringes and peace offrings vpon the altar which he built vnto the Lord: and hee burnt incense vpon the altar that was before the Lord, when hee had finished the house.
25 E três vezes por ano Salomão oferecia ofertas queimadas e ofertas de paz sobre o altar que ele edificou para o SENHOR, e ele queimou incenso sobre o altar que estava diante do SENHOR. Assim, ele concluiu a casa.
26 Also King Salomon made a nauie of ships in Ezeon-geber, which is beside Eloth, and the brinke of the red Sea, in the land of Edom.
26 E o rei Salomão fez uma armada de navios em Eziom-Geber, o qual está ao lado de Elate, na costa do mar Vermelho, na terra de Edom.
27 And Hiram sent with the nauie his seruats, that were mariners, and had knowledge of the sea, with the seruants of Salomon.
27 E Hirão enviou na armada os seus servos, marinheiros que tinham conhecimento do mar, com os servos de Salomão.
28 And they came to Ophir and sette from thence foure hundreth and twentie talents of gold, and brought it to King Salomon.
28 E eles chegaram em Ofir, e retiraram de lá ouro, quatrocentos e vinte talentos, e o trouxeram para o rei Salomão.
