1 Moreouer Dauid the King sayde vnto all the Congregation, God hath chosen Salomon mine onely sonne yong and tender, and the worke is great: for this house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
1 Disse o rei Davi a toda a assembléia: Meu filho Salomão, o único que Deus escolheu, é ainda jovem e fraco, e a obra é considerável, pois não é a um homem que este palácio é destinado, mas ao Senhor Deus.
2 Now I haue prepared with all my power for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, and siluer for them of siluer, and brasse for things of brasse, yron for things of yron, and wood for things of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, and carbuncle stones and of diuers colours, and all precious stones, and marble stones in aboundance.
2 Empenhei todos os meus esforços em preparar para a casa de meu Deus ouro para os objetos de ouro, prata para os objetos de prata, bronze para os objetos de bronze, ferro para os objetos de ferro, madeira para os objetos de madeira, pedras de ônix, e pedras de engaste, pedras preciosas de diversas cores, todas as espécies de pedras preciosas e mármore em grande quantidade.
3 Moreouer, because I haue delite in the house of my God, I haue of mine owne golde and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the house of the Sanctuarie,
3 Ademais, o ouro e a prata que possuo como propriedade minha, dou-os por amor para a casa de meu Deus, além de tudo o que preparei para o santuário:
4 Euen three thousand talents of gold of the golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of fined siluer to ouerlay the walles of the houses.
4 três mil talentos de ouro, ouro de Ofir, e sete mil talentos de fina prata para revestir as paredes das salas.
5 The golde for the things of golde, and the siluer for things of siluer, and for all the worke by the handes of artificers: and who is willing to fill his hand to day vnto the Lord?
5 Quanto a ouro para a ourivesaria, prata para a prataria, e para todo o trabalho dos artífices, quem quer, ainda hoje, oferecer espontaneamente donativos ao Senhor?
6 So the princes of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captaines of thousands and of hundreths, with the rulers of the Kings worke, offred willingly,
6 Os chefes das famílias, os chefes das tribos de Israel, os chefes de milhares e de centenas, assim como os intendentes do rei, fizeram donativos voluntários.
7 And they gaue for the seruice of the house of God fiue thousande talents of golde, and ten thousand pieces, and ten thousand talents of siluer, and eighteene thousand talents of brasse, and one hundreth thousand talents of yron.
7 Deram, para o serviço do templo, cinco mil talentos de ouro, dez mil dáricos, dez mil talentos de prata, dezoito mil talentos de bronze e cem mil talentos de ferro.
8 And they with whom precious stones were found, gaue them to the treasure of ye house of the Lord, by the hand of Iehiel the Gershunnite.
8 Aqueles que possuíam pedras preciosas deram-nas para o tesouro da casa de Deus, em mãos de Jeiel, o gersonita.
9 And the people reioyced when they offred willingly: for they offred willingly vnto ye Lord, with a perfite heart. And Dauid the King also reioyced with great ioy.
9 O povo se alegrava com suas oferendas voluntárias, pois era de coração generoso que as faziam ao Senhor; e o próprio rei Davi sentiu uma grande alegria.
10 Therefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation, and Dauid sayde, Blessed be thou, O Lord God, of Israel our father, for euer and euer.
10 Davi bendisse o Senhor, em presença de toda a assembléia Sede bendito, disse ele, para todo o sempre, Senhor, Deus de nosso pai Israel!
11 Thine, O Lord, is greatnesse and power, and glory, and victorie and praise: for all that is in heauen and in earth is thine: thine is the kingdome, O Lord, and thou excellest as head ouer all.
11 A vós, Senhor, a grandeza, o poder, a honra, a majestade e a glória, porque tudo que está no céu e na terra vos pertence. A vós, Senhor, a realeza, porque sois soberanamente elevado acima de todas as coisas.
12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest ouer all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hande it is to make great, and to giue strength vnto all.
12 É de vós que vêm a riqueza e a glória, sois vós o Senhor de todas as coisas; é em vossa mão que residem a força e o poder. E é vossa mão que tem o poder de dar a todas as coisas grandeza e solidez.
13 Now therefore our God, we thanke thee, and prayse thy glorious Name.
13 Agora, ó nosso Deus, nós vos louvamos e celebramos vosso nome glorioso.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we shoulde be able to offer willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee: and of thine owne hand we haue giuen thee.
14 Quem sou eu, e quem é meu povo, para que possamos fazer-vos voluntariamente estas oferendas? Tudo vem de vós e não oferecemos senão o que temos recebido de vossa mão.
15 For we are stragers before thee, and soiourners, like all our fathers: our dayes are like ye shadowe vpon the earth, and there is none abiding.
15 Diante de vós, não passamos de estrangeiros e peregrinos, como todos os nossos pais; nossos dias na terra são como a sombra, sem que haja esperança.
16 O Lord our God, all this abundance that we haue prepared to buylde thee an house for thine holy Name, is of thine hand and all is thine.
16 Senhor, nosso Deus, todas estas riquezas que preparamos para construir uma casa a vosso santo nome, é de vossa mão que elas vêm e a vós pertencem.
17 I knowe also, my God, that thou tryest the heart, and hast pleasure in righteousnesse: I haue offred willingly in the vprightnesse of mine heart all these things: now also haue I seene thy people which are found here, to offer vnto thee willingly with ioy.
17 Eu sei, meu Deus, que perscrutais os corações e amais a retidão; por isso, é na retidão e espontaneidade de meu coração que vos ofereço tudo isso e é com alegria que vejo agora vosso povo, aqui presente, fazer-vos suas oferendas voluntárias.
18 O Lord God of Abraham, Izhak and Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the purpose, and the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their hearts vnto thee.
18 Senhor, Deus de Abraão, de Isaac e de Israel, nossos pais, guardai para sempre no coração de vosso povo estas disposições e sentimentos, e dirigi seu coração para vós.
19 And giue vnto Salomon my sonne a perfit heart to keepe thy commandements, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to doe all things, and to builde the house which I haue prepared.
19 A meu filho Salomão, dai um coração íntegro para observar vossos mandamentos, vossos preceitos e vossas leis, para pô-los todos em prática, e para construir este edifício do qual fiz os preparativos.
20 And Dauid said to all the Congregation, Now blesse the Lord your God. And all the Congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heads, and worshipped the Lord and the King.
20 Depois disse Davi a toda a assembléia: Bendizei ao Senhor, nosso Deus. E toda a assembléia bendisse ao Senhor, o Deus de seus pais, inclinando-se e prostrando-se diante do Senhor e diante do rei.
21 And they offred sacrifices vnto the Lord, and on the morowe after that day, they offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, euen a thousande yong bullocks, a thousand rammes and a thousand sheepe, with their drinke offrings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
21 No dia seguinte, imolaram as vítimas ao Senhor, e ofereceram em holocausto mil touros, mil carneiros e mil cordeiros, com as libações ordinárias, e outros sacrifícios em grande quantidade por todo o Israel.
22 And they did eate and drinke before the Lord the same day with great ioy, and they made Salomon the sonne of Dauid King the seconde time, and anoynted him prince before the Lord, and Zadok for the hie Priest.
22 Nesse dia comeram e beberam diante do Senhor com grande alegria. Pela segunda vez, proclamaram rei a Salomão, filho de Davi, e ungiram-no chefe diante do Senhor. Ungiram também Sadoc, como sumo sacerdote.
23 So Salomon sate on the throne of the Lord, as King in steade of Dauid his father, and prospered: and all Israel obeyed him.
23 Salomão tomou posse do trono do Senhor como rei, no lugar de Davi, seu pai; prosperou, e todo o Israel lhe obedeceu.
24 And all the princes and men of power, and all the sonnes of King Dauid submitted them selues vnder King Salomon.
24 Todos os chefes e heróis, e mesmo todos os filhos do rei Davi, sujeitaram-se ao rei Salomão.
25 And the Lord magnified Salomon in dignitie, in the sight of all Israel, and gaue him so glorious a kingdome, as no King had before him in Israel.
25 O Senhor elevou ao mais alto grau a grandeza de Salomão, à vista de todo o Israel e deu a seu reino tal esplendor que nenhum rei de Israel jamais possuíra antes dele.
26 Thus Dauid the sonne of Ishai reigned ouer all Israel.
26 Davi, filho de Isaí, tinha reinado sobre todo o Israel.
27 And the space that he reigned ouer Israel, was fourtie yeere: seuen yeere reigned he in Hebron, and three and thirtie yeere reigned he in Ierusalem:
27 A duração de seu reinado sobre Israel foi de quarenta anos: sete anos em Hebron, e trinta e três anos em Jerusalém.
28 And he dyed in a good age, full of dayes, riches and honour, and Salomon his sonne reigned in his steade.
28 Faleceu numa feliz velhice, carregado de dias, de riquezas e de glória. Seu filho Salomão sucedeu-lhe no trono.
29 Concerning the actes of Dauid the King first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of Samuel the Seer, and in the booke of Nathan the Prophet, and in the booke of Gad the Seer,
29 Os feitos do rei Davi, dos primeiros aos últimos, estão relatados no livro de Samuel, o vidente, no livro do profeta Natã, e no livro de Gad, o vidente.
30 With all his reigne and his power, and times that went ouer him, and ouer Israel and ouer all the kingdomes of the earth.
30 com todo o seu reino e todos os seus feitos, e as vicissitudes pelas quais passou, assim como Israel e todos os reinos das terras vizinhas.
