1 Then all Israel gathered themselues to Dauid vnto Hebron, saying, Beholde, we are thy bones and thy flesh.
1 Então, todo o Israel se reuniu com Davi em Hebrom, dizendo: Eis que somos teus ossos e tua carne.
2 And in time past, euen when Saul was King, thou leddest Israel out and in: and the Lord thy God sayde vnto thee, Thou shalt feede my people Israel, and thou shalt be captaine ouer my people Israel.
2 E, além disso, em tempos passados, quando Saul foi rei sobre nós, tu eras aquele que fazias Israel sair e entrar; e o SENHOR teu Deus te disse: Tu pastorearás o meu povo Israel e tu serás soberano sobre Israel.
3 So came all the Elders of Israel to the King to Hebron, and Dauid made a couenant with them in Hebron before the Lord. And they anoynted Dauid King ouer Israel, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Samuel.
3 Portanto, vieram todos os anciãos de Israel até o rei em Hebrom; e o rei Davi fez um pacto com eles em Hebrom diante do SENHOR; e eles ungiram Davi rei sobre Israel, de acordo com a palavra do SENHOR por Samuel.
4 And Dauid and all Israel went to Ierusalem, which is Iebus, where were the Iebusites, the inhabitants of the land.
4 E Davi e todo o Israel foram até Jerusalém, a qual é Jebus; onde estavam os jebuseus, os habitantes da terra.
5 And the inhabitants of Iebus said to Dauid, Thou shalt not come in hither. Neuertheles Dauid tooke the towre of Zion, which is the city of Dauid.
5 E os habitantes de Jebus disseram a Davi: Tu não virás para cá. Todavia, Davi tomou a fortaleza de Sião, que é a cidade de Davi.
6 And Dauid sayd, Whosoeuer smiteth the Iebusites first, shalbe the chiefe and captaine. So Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah went first vp, and was captaine.
6 E Davi disse: Qualquer que primeiro ferir os jebuseus será chefe e capitão. Assim, Joabe, o filho de Zeruia, subiu primeiro, e foi chefe.
7 And Dauid dwelt in the tower: therefore they called it the citie of Dauid.
7 E Davi habitou na fortaleza; é por isso que a chamaram de cidade de Davi.
8 And he built the citie on euery side, from Millo euen round about, and Ioab repaired the rest of the citie.
8 E ele edificou a cidade ao redor, a saber, desde Milo até seus arredores; e Joabe restaurou o restante da cidade.
9 And Dauid prospered, and grewe: for the Lord of hostes was with him.
9 Assim, Davi se tornou cada vez maior; porque o SENHOR dos Exércitos estava com ele.
10 These also are the chiefe of the valiant men that were with Dauid, and ioyned their force with him in his kingdome with al Israel, to make him King ouer Israel, according to the worde of the Lord.
10 Estes também são os chefes dos homens valentes que Davi tinha, que se fortaleceram com ele no seu reino, e com todo o Israel, para fazê-lo rei, segundo a palavra do SENHOR acerca de Israel.
11 And this is the nomber of the valiant men whome Dauid had, Iashobeam the sonne of Hachmoni, the chiefe among thirtie: he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, whom he slewe at one time.
11 E este é o número dos homens valentes que Davi tinha: Jasobeão, um hacmonita, o chefe dos capitães; ele ergueu a sua lança contra trezentos, de uma só vez os matou.
12 And after him was Eleazar the sonne of Dodo the Ahohite, which was one of the three valiant men.
12 E, depois dele estava Eleazar, o filho de Dodô, o aoíta, que era um dos três homens valentes.
13 He was with Dauid at Pas-dammim, and there the Philistims were gathered together to battel: and there was a parcell of ground full of barley, and the people fled before the Philistims.
13 Ele estava com Davi em Pas-Damim, e ali os filisteus estavam reunidos para a batalha, onde havia uma parte do campo cheio de cevada; e o povo fugiu de diante dos filisteus.
14 And they stood in the middes of the field, and saued it, and slewe the Philistims: so the Lord gaue a great victorie.
14 E eles se puseram no meio daquela parte, e o livraram, e mataram os filisteus; e o SENHOR os salvou com um grande livramento.
15 And three of the thirtie captaines went to a rocke to Dauid, into the caue of Adullam. And the armie of the Philistims camped in the valley of Rephaim.
15 Ora, três dos trinta capitães desceram até a rocha, a Davi, na caverna de Adulão; e o exército dos filisteus acampou no vale dos Refains.
16 And when Dauid was in the hold, the Philistims garison was at Beth-lehem.
16 E Davi estava, então, no forte, e a guarnição dos filisteus estava, então, em Belém.
17 And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem that is at the gate.
17 E Davi desejou, e disse: Ah, se alguém me desse de beber das águas do poço de Belém, que fica junto ao portão!
18 Then these three brake thorowe the hoste of the Philistims, and drewe water out of the well of Beth-lehem that was by the gate, and tooke it and brought it to Dauid: but Dauid would not drinke of it, but powred it for an oblation to the Lord,
18 E os três irromperam pelo exército dos filisteus, e retiraram água do poço de Belém, que ficava junto ao portão, e a tomaram e a trouxeram até Davi; porém Davi não quis beber dela, mas derramou-a para o SENHOR,
19 And said, Let not my God suffer me to do this: should I drinke the blood of these mens liues? for they haue brought it with the ieopardie of their liues: therefore he would not drinke it: these things did these three mightie men.
19 e disse: O meu Deus me proíba de fazer esta coisa; beberei eu o sangue destes homens que colocaram as suas vidas em risco? Porque com o risco das suas vidas eles a trouxeram; por isso ele não quis beber dela. Estas coisas fizeram estes três poderosos.
20 And Abishai the brother of Ioab, he was chiefe of the three, and he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, and slew them, and had the name among the three.
20 E Abisai, o irmão de Joabe, foi o chefe dos três; por erguer a sua lança contra trezentos, ele os matou, e teve nome entre os três.
21 Among the three he was more honourable then the two, and he was their captaine: but he attained not vnto the first three.
21 Dos três, ele foi mais ilustre do que os dois; porque ele foi o capitão deles; todavia não alcançou os três primeiros.
22 Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada (the sonne of a valiant man) which had done many actes, and was of Kabzeel, he slewe two strong men of Moab: he went downe also and slewe a lion in the middes of a pit in time of snowe.
22 E Benaia, o filho de Joiada, o filho de um homem valente de Cabzeel, que havia feito muitos atos; ele matou dois homens de Moabe semelhantes a leões; também desceu e matou um leão em uma cova, em um dia com neve.
23 And he slewe an Egyptian, a man of great stature, euen fiue cubites long, and in the Egyptians hand was a speare like a weauers beame: and he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slewe him with his owne speare.
23 E ele matou um egípcio, um homem de grande estatura, com cinco côvados de altura; e na mão do egípcio estava uma lança semelhante a um eixo de tecelão; e desceu até ele com uma vara, e arrancou a lança da mão do egípcio, e o matou com a sua própria lança.
24 These things did Benaiah ye sonne of Iehoiada, and had the name among the three worthies.
24 Estas coisas fez Benaia, o filho de Joiada, e teve nome entre os três homens valentes.
25 Behold, he was honourable among thirtie, but he attained not vnto the first three. And Dauid made him of his counsell.
25 Eis que ele foi ilustre entre os trinta, mas todavia não alcançou os três primeiros; e Davi o pôs sobre a sua guarda.
26 These also were valiant men of warre, Asahel the brother of Ioab, Elhanan the sonne of Dodo of Beth-lehem,
26 Além disso, os homens valentes dos exércitos foram: Asael, o irmão de Joabe; Elanã, o filho de Dodô, de Belém;
27 Shammoth the Harodite, Helez the Pelonite,
27 Samote, o harodita; Heles, o pelonita;
28 Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Antothite,
28 Ira, o filho de Iques, o tecoíta; Abiezer, o anatotita;
29 Sibbecai the Husathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
29 Sibecai, o husatita; Ilai, o aoíta;
30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled ye sonne of Baanah the Netophathite,
30 Maarai, o netofatita; Helede, o filho de Baaná, o netofatita;
31 Ithai the sonne of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Beniamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,

32 Hurai of the riuers of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,

34 The sonnes of Hashem the Gizonite, Ionathan the sonne of Shageh the Harite,

35 Ahiam the sonne of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the sonne of Vr,
35 Aião, o filho de Sacar, o hararita; Elifal, o filho de Ur;

42 Adina the sonne of Shiza the Reubenite, a captaine of the Reubenites, and thirtie with him,

43 Hanan the sonne of Maachah, and Ioshaphat the Mithnite,
43 Hanã, o filho de Maaca; e Josafá, o mitenita;
44 Vzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Ieiel the sonnes of Otham the Aroerite,
44 Uzias, o astaratita; Sama e Jeiel, os filhos de Hotão, o aroerita;
45 Iediael the sonne of Shimri, and Ioha his brother the Tizite,
45 Jediael, o filho de Sinri; e Joá, seu irmão, o tizita,
46 Eliel the Mahauite, and Ieribai and Ioshauiah the sonnes of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
46 Eliel, o maavita; e Jeribai, e Josavias, os filhos de Elnaão; e Itma, o moabita;
47 Eliel and Obed, and Iaasiel the Mesobaite.
47 Eliel, o Obede, e Jaasiel, o mesobaíta.
