Romanos 13
The Peschito Syriac New Testament (ETHERIDGE) vs NAA
1 LET every soul to the powers of dominion be subject. For there is no power that is not from Aloha, and the powers that be, of Aloha are they instituted.
1 Que todos estejam sujeitos às autoridades superiores. Porque não há autoridade que não proceda de Deus, e as autoridades que existem foram por ele instituídas.
2 Whoever then riseth up against the power, against the institution of Aloha he riseth; and they who arise against them will receive judgment.
2 Assim, aquele que se opõe à autoridade resiste à ordenação de Deus, e os que resistem trarão sobre si mesmos condenação.
3 For judges are not a terror to the workers of good, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do good, and thou shalt have praise from him.
3 Porque os magistrados não são para temor, quando se faz o bem, e sim quando se faz o mal. Você quer viver sem medo da autoridade? Faça o bem e você terá louvor dela,
4 For he is the servant of Aloha, but to thee for good: and if thou do evil, fear; for not in vain is he girded with the sword; for he is the servant of Aloha, and the dispenser of wrath to them who do evil.
4 pois a autoridade é ministro de Deus para o seu bem. Mas, se você fizer o mal, então tenha medo, porque não é sem motivo que a autoridade traz a espada; pois é ministro de Deus, vingador, para castigar quem pratica o mal.
5 And because of this are we bound to be subject, not for the wrath only, but also because of conscience.
5 Portanto, é necessário que vocês se sujeitem à autoridade, não somente por causa do temor da punição, mas também por dever de consciência.
6 On this account also give we tribute to them; for they are the servants of Aloha over these things constituted.
6 É por isso também que vocês pagam impostos, porque as autoridades são ministros de Deus, atendendo constantemente a este serviço.
7 Render therefore to every man as is due to him: to whom tribute (is due,) tribute; and to whom custom, custom; and to whom reverence, reverence; and to whom honour, honour.
7 Paguem a todos o que lhes é devido: a quem tributo, tributo; a quem imposto, imposto; a quem respeito, respeito; a quem honra, honra.
8 And to no man owe any thing, but one another to love. For whoever loveth his neighbour fulfilleth the law:
8 Não fiquem devendo nada a ninguém, exceto o amor de uns para com os outros. Pois quem ama o próximo cumpre a lei.
9 for that also which it hath said, Thou shalt not kill; and, Thou shalt not commit adultery; and, Thou shalt not steal; and, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, in this word it is accomplished, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
9 Pois estes mandamentos: “Não cometa adultério”, “não mate”, “não furte”, “não cobice”, e qualquer outro mandamento que houver, todos se resumem nesta palavra: “Ame o seu próximo como você ama a si mesmo.”
10 Love unto his neighbour evil worketh not: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
10 O amor não pratica o mal contra o próximo. Portanto, o cumprimento da lei é o amor.
11 AND also this know, that the time is, and the hour is, when we should be awake from our sleep; for now hath drawn nearer to us our salvation than when we believed.
11 E digo isto a vocês que conhecem o tempo: já é hora de despertarem do sono, porque a nossa salvação está agora mais perto do que quando no princípio cremos.
12 The night now passeth away, and the day hath drawn nigh; put we away then from us the works of darkness, and let us clothe with the arms of light.
12 Vai alta a noite, e o dia vem chegando. Deixemos, pois, as obras das trevas e revistamo-nos das armas da luz.
13 And as in the day, let us walk decorously, not with the song, nor with drunkenness, nor in the unclean chamber, nor in envy and in contention;
13 Vivamos dignamente, como em pleno dia, não em orgias e bebedeiras, não em imoralidades e libertinagem, não em discórdias e ciúmes.
14 but let (every one) clothe himself with our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and care not for your flesh unto the lusts (thereof).
14 Mas revistam-se do Senhor Jesus Cristo e não façam nada que venha a satisfazer os desejos da carne.
