Hebreus 2
The Peschito Syriac New Testament (ETHERIDGE) vs AAI
1 Therefore we are obligated to be more exceedingly heedful in what we have heard, that we fall not.
1 Anayabin iti isan tur anababatun hio tanonowar i tanabukikin gewas, saise it boro men au uf tanabatamih.
2 For if the word which was uttered by angels was confirmed, and every one who heard it, and transgressed against it, received a just retribution,
2 Tur tounamatar hibai hina ata a’agir hibitih i tur anababatun naatu orot babin ta iti tur men bosiyasiyar bi’ufunun i baimakiy baib.
3 how shall we escape if we despise those (words) which themselves are our salvation? Those which began by our Lord to be spoken, and by them who from him heard them in us were confirmed,
3 It yawas gagamin isan ata not men gagamin tanabitin na’at, boro mi’itube tanahaiw? Anayabin iti yawas isan Regah taiyuwin wantoro’ot kurereb, naatu sabuw iyab hinowar hibai hina hibi’obaiyit hio, “Iti tur i turobe.”
4 when Aloha witnessed concerning them by signs, and by miracles, and by various powers, and by distributed gifts of the Spirit of Holiness, that were bestowed according to his will.
4 Nati veya ta’imon wanawananamaim God ana sifruborubon tur tafan ya’abar bai tit i arih auman ita’imon ina’inan yumatah ta ta naatu baifofofor yumatah ta ta sinaf. Naatu i ana kokomaim Anun Kakafiyin ana usar ta’ita’imon faram.
5 For it was not to the angels he subjected the world which is future, of which we discourse.
5 Tafaram boubun boro enan bonawiyin isan God men tounamatar rubinih boro i hinabonawiy en, tafaram boubun ana tur iti tao.
6 But, as the scripture testifieth and saith, What is man, that thou rememberedst him, and the Son of man, that thou didst visit him?
6 Baise Buk Atamanin wanawanan efan ta’ane i iti na’atube eo,
7 Thou didst humble him (to be) less than the angels; glory and honour hast thou placed upon his head, and hast empowered him over the work of thy hands,
7 Mar kafai iyare tounamatar etei babahimaim,
8 and every thing hast thou put in subjection under his feet. in this, that he subjected every thing to him, he hath left nothing which he hath not subjected. Yet hitherto we see not that every thing is subjected to him.
8 Naatu sawar tutufin etei bai’ukwarin isan ana fair itin.”
9 But him who was humbled to be less than the angels, we see to be JESHU himself, for the sake of the passion of his death; and glory and honour set upon his head; for He Aloha, in his grace, for every man hath tasted death!
9 Baise Jesu i ta’i’itin, God yare re tounamatar babahimaim, naatu God ana bosiyasiyaramaim sabuw etei isah morob. Naatu boun ana aiwob baib i marakaw baifa’en bora’ara’aten hinitin, anayabin morobomaim biyababan bai.
10 For it was proper to him by whose hand are all, and on account of whom all are, (and who) would lead many sons to his glory, that the Prince of their salvation by sufferings should be perfected.
10 God akisin ana kokomaim sawar himatar, naatu ana kokomaim sawar etei tema’am, imih iwa’an Jesu biyababanamaim rusouw, saise God natunatun moumurih na’in nabonawiyih hinarun bairi ana aiwob hinafaram. Anayabin Jesu akisinamo boro sabuw nabonawiyih yawas nitih.
11 For he who sanctified, and they who are sanctified, are all from one: wherefore he has not been ashamed to call them his brethren.
11 Naatu sabuw hai kakafihine kukusouwih ufunamaim bairi hina tamah ta’imon himatar. Imih Jesu boro men biya’ohow auman taitin narouw na’omih.
12 (As) when he saith, I will announce thy name unto my brethren, and in the midst of the church I will praise thee.
12 Naatu Jesu God isan eo,
13 And again, I will put my confidence in him. And again, Behold me, and the sons whom thou hast given me, Aloha.
13 Naatu eo maiye,
14 Forasmuch as the sons have been made to participate in flesh and blood, he also likewise was made a partaker of these very things; that by his death he might abolish him who held the power of death, who is Satana,
14 Imih it God natunatun biyat finimit rara auman eo tamatar. Jesu i na’atube orot babin biyah turin bai. Orot babin na’atube tufuw biyat ebababan na’atube biyan baban morob, Demon morob ana fair bai ma’am gurus.
15 and set loose them who in the fear of death had been all their lives subjected to servitude.
15 Naatu sabuw hai yawas tutufin etei demon ana dibur hirun morob isan hima hibirubir rufamih hitit Jesu tibitumatum.
16 For not from the angels he took, but from the seed of Abraham he took.
16 Anayabin Jesu ana baibais i bebeyan ta’itin, i men tounamatar baibaisih isan namih. Baise Buk Atamaninamaim eo na’atube, “Abraham wawawan baibaisihimih na.”
17 Therefore it was right that in every thing he should be rendered like unto his brethren, that he might be compassionate, and a High Priest faithful in to Aloha, and become an expiation for the sins of the people.
17 Ana’an iti, imih Jesu na taitin hai yawas wanawanan run sora’ub, saise i ana bowabow Firis Gagamin na’atube God isan, taitin isah boro turobe’emaim nakabibirih, sabuw hai bowabow kakafihine boro notawiyen hinab.
18 For in this, that he hath suffered and been tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
18 Naatu boun i karam sabuw iyab routobon tebaib boro nibaisih, anayabin i auman routobon bai naatu biyan baban i’akir.
