1 Now FAITH is the persuasion concerning things which are in hope, as if they were in reality, and a revelation of those which are not seen.

2 And for this was the testimony concerning the elders.

3 For by faith we perceive that the worlds were ordained by the word of Aloha, and (how) these (things) which are seen were from those which are not seen.
3 Baitumatumamaim taso’ob tafaramamaim sawar etei i God awanamaim eo himatar, naatu iti sawar himamatar i men ta’i’itahimaim eo himataramih, baise buriburihimaim.
4 By faith Habel offered a sacrifice which was far better than that of Koen unto Aloha; and because of it there is respecting him a testimony that he was righteous; and Aloha gave witness concerning his oblation; and on account thereof also while dead he is speaking.
4 Baitumatumamaim Abel siwar gewasinamak bai na God bitin i men Cain ana siwar na’atube’emih. Ana baitumatumamaim God iyasisir ana ef mutufurin rouw eo, anayabin ana siwar gewasin. Abel i marasik morob, baise ana baitumatumamaim fanan i ema’ama.
5 Through faith Hanak was translated, and did not taste death; nor was he found, because Aloha had translated him: for before that he would translate him, there was respecting him the testimony that he pleased Aloha.
5 Baitumatumamaim Enoch morobo’e, yawasin au mar yen, sabuw hinuwih men hitita’ur, anayabin God bora’ah. Baise au mar yena’e ana veya abisa sisinaf God itin eo, “O isa ayu abiyasisir.”
6 But without faith it is not possible for man to please Aloha; for he who draweth near unto Aloha must believe that he is, and that of those who seek him he will be the rewarder.
6 Orot babin yait aurin baitumatum en God nati orot babin isan men ebiyasisir, anayabin orot babin yait God nanamaim titamih i nitumatum God i ema’am, naatu orot babin yait turobe’emaim enunuwih ana baiyan boro nitih.
7 By faith Nuch, when spoken with upon those things which had not been seen, feared, and made him the ark for the salvation of his family; by which he condemned the world, and was an heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
7 Baitumatumamaim sawar abisa boro hitamatar isan God Noah bimatanuw ana veya, bir kakafiyinamaim God fanan bai wa wowab aawan natunatun bairi hiyawasih. Ana baitumatumamaim tafaram ana kakafinane kusib tabaratait tit nabin bat, naatu God biyanane yawas mutufurin bain ana baibasit ma’ama ana baitumatumamaim bai.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, heard that he was to go forth to a place which he should receive for an inheritance; and he went out, while he knew not whither he was going.
8 Baitumatumamaim Abraham tafaram ta boro uf i nowanamih tamamatar isan God eo’omatan ana veya’amaim, God fanan bai ana tafaram itumar misir asir remor kwaneyan in.
9 By faith he was a sojourner in the land that was promised to him, as in an alien state, and dwelt in tabernacles with Ishok and Jakub, sons of the inheritance which was his by the promise:
9 Baitumatumamaim Abraham na omatanen me’emaim tit, touman orot na’atube menah tatabirih hai tafaramamaim sis ya ma remor. Isaac naatu Jacob hairi auman na’atube hisinaf, anayabin i auman me nati isan God eomatanih.
10 for he was expecting the city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is Aloha.
10 Abraham sisimaim ma reremor anayabin i bitumatum bar merar gewasin anababatun God taiyuwin yakitifuw wowowab imaim boro narun wanatowan nitutut nama.
11 By faith Saro, who was barren, received strength to conceive seed, and, which (thing) was not in the time of her years, gave birth (to a son); because she was sure that he who had promised to her was faithful.
11 Iban maiye kwana’itin, Abraham i iregah naatu Sarah i a’arin, baise baitumatumamaim Abraham, kek tamah matar, anayabin i so’ob God ana omatanen isah i mar etei ebobosunusunub.
12 Therefore from one who had failed from old age, were there begotten multitudes as the stars of heaven, and as the sand upon the shores of the sea, which have no number.
12 Imih bebeyan tana’itin, Abraham biyan etei i morob, baise iti orot ta’imon biyanane ana ub ra’at tafaram awan karatan, daman naatu dones na’atube baiyabin en.
13 In faith died these all, not having gotten their promise, but from afar had beheld it, and exulted in it, and confessed that strangers they were, and sojourners in the earth.
13 Iti sabuw erebaitumatum hima’am himorob, sawar God eo’omatanih men hibai, baise hinuwamo ef yok na’in hi’itin, naatu yasisiramaim nati sawar hai merar hiyi. Imih taiyuwih isah iti tafaramamaim i nah toumanih naatu ef rimurih na’atube hima.
14 For they who these things say, make manifest that their city they are seeking.
14 Anayabin sabuw sawar iti na’atube isah teo i tafaram ta bain nowah matar, imaim wanatowan ma’amih tinunuwet.
15 But if that city from which they had gone out they desired, they had opportunity to return and go to it.
15 Naatu hai tafaram atamanin hibihamiy isan hitanotanot na’at, marasika boro ef hitanuwet hitamatabir maiye.
16 But now it is known that a better (one) than that they desired; that (namely) which is in heaven. Wherefore Aloha was not ashamed their God to be called; for he hath prepared for them a city.
16 Baise nati efanin i tafaram ta gewasin anababatun hinunuwih, tafaram no maramaim. Isan imih God isan hai God hirouw hio i men biyah eo’ohow. Anayabin hai bar merar gewasin imaim wanatowan ma isan yabuna’ika.
17 By faith Abraham offered Ishok in his temptation and his only-born he lifted upon the altar, even him whom he had received by the promise:
17 God routobon Abraham bitin ana veya, baitumatumamaim natun ta’imonamo Isaac bai siboromih yai. God ana omatanen Abraham isan i iti na’atube eo,
18 for it had been said to him, In Ishok shall be called to thee the seed.
18 “O natu Isaac wanawananamaim boro a ub nara’at.” Baise God Abraham rurutubun ana veya Abraham nowarasit.
19 For he thought within himself, that Aloha could even from the dead upraise: and on account of this in a similitude he was given to him.
19 Abraham so’ob Isaac namomorob God karam boro niyawas maiye, naatu ana itinin boro iti na’atube tatao, Abraham natun easabunibo uman botan.
20 By faith in that which was to come, Ishok blessed Jakub and Isu.
20 Baitumatumamaim Isaac natunatun rou’ab, Jacob, Esau hairi baigegewasin itih, mar boro hai ma gewas isan.
21 By faith, when dying, Jakub blessed each of the sons of Jauseph; and worshipped upon the head of his staff.
21 Jacob baitumatumamaim ma’am iregah morobomih ana veya na kakabom auman Joseph natunatun rou’ab igegewasinih. Naatu ana tu’umaim ibais kuso bat God ana merar yi.
22 By faith Jauseph, when dying, was mindful of the going forth of the sons of Israel, and commanded concerning his bones.
22 Baitumatumamaim Joseph morobomih ana veya na kakabom auman, Israel sabuw Egypt baihamiyin maiye tit isan hai tur eowen, naatu ana rarik auman bai tit isan hai tur eowen.
23 By faith the parents of Musha concealed him when he had been born three months, because they saw that he was a beautiful child; and they feared not the edict of the king.
23 Baitumatumamaim Moses tutufuw ana veya hinah tamah sumar tounu hibun hima, aiwob orot ana ofafar fokarin eo isan men hibirumih. Anayabin kek tufuw hi’i’itin i men kek afa na’atube’emih.
24 By faith Musha, when he became a man, refused to be called the son of the daughter of Pherun;
24 Baitumatumamaim Moses ra’at yen orot mamatar ana veya’amaim, i men kok boro Pharaoh natun babitai natun hitarouw hitao.
25 and chose to himself to be in affliction with the people of Aloha, and not for a little time to delight (himself) in sin;
25 Imih iti yasisir kakafin mar kafai baiyasisir isan i kwahir, naatu God ana sabuw bairi bai’akir isan rubin.
26 and considered the riches of the reproach of Meshiha to be far greater than the treasures of Metsreen: for he contemplated the recompence of the reward.
26 I ana not Keriso wabinamaim sabuw biya’ohow hinitin nabi’akir ana gewasin i ra’at kwanekwan men Egypt wanawan toto buyoy gewasin yomanin en na’atube’emih. Anayabin i ana not etei i ana baiyan boro nan isan yayabuna.
27 By faith he forsook Metsreen, and feared not the wrath of the king; and hoped, as one who beheld Aloha who is the invisible.
27 Baitumatumamaim Moses misir Egypt ihamiy tit, aiwob orot yan soso’ar isan men bir, baise itafofor tit. Anayabin God wa’iwa’irinamaim ma’am Moses itin.
28 By faith they performed the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that he might not come near,-he, who was destroying the first-born.
28 Baitumatumamaim Moses Tar Nowaten ana bowabow imatar bobaituw hai rara etawan hidadawiren. Saise Gurusenayan kek ai’in rouwamih nanan Israel hai kek ai’in men narouw hinamorob.
29 By faith they traversed the sea of Sooph, as those who (march) upon dry land; but the Metsroyee were swallowed up in it, when they had dared to enter it.
29 Baitumatumamaim Israel sabuw riy gagamin wabin Red Sea mamah me yanabe hirabon rewan roun hiyen. Baise Egypt baiyowayah hi’ufnunih hirarabon riy matabir maiye re etei himorob.
30 By faith the ramparts of Jirichu fell down, after they had been encompassed seven days.
30 Baitumatumamaim Israel sabuw veya etei umat roun rou’ab tafaram Jericho bar merar gagamin fur ufun hibiwaibibib ufunamaim fur tafofor re sabuw etei himorob.
31 By faith Rachob the harlot perished not with those who would not hearken, because she had received the explorers in peace.
31 Baitumatumamaim babin ef remorayan wabin Rahab sabuw baifanasairayah hi’a’asbunubunuwen i men hi’asabunimih, anayabin Israel orot rafot rouwayah hinan hai merar yi buwih ana baremaim hirun.
32 What shall I yet say? For (too) brief is the time for me to tell of Gedhun, and of Borok, and of Shemshun, and of Nephtoch, and of David, and of Shomuel, and of the rest of the prophets;
32 Tur i moumurih na’in tema’am baise veya men ema’am boro Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel naatu dinab oro’orot isah anao kwananowar.
33 they who through faith conquered kingdoms, and wrought righteousness, and received promises, and shut the mouths of lions,
33 Baitumatumamaim tafaram afa hai aiwob hirouw hinunih, ma gewas ana efamaim sabuw hikaifih bairi hima. Naatu God abisa eomatanih itih, hisinaf lion awah hibit anihimih men hi’anih.
34 and quenched the powers of fire, and were delivered from the edge of the sword, and were made strong from infirmities, and became valiant in battle, and overthrew the camps of the adversaries.
34 Sabuw ata wairaf in bitakir wan hirouw hiyey men e’arahih, afa kaiy wanane hibihir, afa hiririm hi’inu’in hai fair hibai maiye, afa ahay waf wanawanan hirun nah hi’aiseyasey hibat rakit hi’abargiyigiyih.
35 And they gave unto women their sons by the resurrection of the dead; and others in torments died, nor hoped to be delivered, that the better resurrection they might have.
35 Baibin afa taih tuwah morobone God iyawasih itih, afa morob hirubin God hibitumitum isan rakit himisir hibow hirouw biyah hibeyat, biyababan bai’akir gagamin maiyow hibai. Anayabin i hiso’ob morobone misir maiye isan i boro gewasinamaim hinamisir maiye.
36 But others went through mockings and scourgings; others unto chains and imprisonments were given up,
36 Afa hi’iyabih hi’uwih kwanikwaniyih naatu hibow hirouw biyah hikwimih, afa hibow hifatumih hin dibur hiya.
37 others were stoned, others divided, others died by the edge of the sword, others wandered about clothed with skins of sheep and of goats, necessitous, afflicted, and driven out.
37 Afa kabayamaim hirouw himorob, afa naiwah so’omaim hiboro’omen, afa kaiyomaim hiyow himorob, afa bai’akir gagamin maiyow hibai, sheep, goat, bunibunihimaim ar faifuw hisakir hiyon, yababan hibai aurih sawar i’en, aa murumurubih hi’a’akir naatu hirukoukuwih hima hiremor.
38 Men, of whom the world was not worthy, became as wanderers in the desert, and in mountains, and in dens, and in caverns of the earth.
38 Iti tafaramamaim hai ma isan i men igewasin, sabuw toumanih na’atube arar yan, oyaw an, watu wanawanan, sou wanawanan imaim hi’in hima hiremor.
39 And these all, of whom there hath been (such) a testimony concerning their faith, received not the promise;
39 Sabuw iti etei i hai baitumatumamaim wabih iti tema’am, baise sawar abisa God eo’omatanih men yait ta bai.
40 because Aloha had afore contemplated for our help, that without us they should not be made perfect.
40 Anayabin God ana kok nati sabuw i boro hinama hinakaif saise it bairit auta’imon nati sawar gewasin nafaramit youn.
