1 AFTER these I saw, and, behold, a door (was) open in heaven. And the first voice that I had heard as a trumpet talking with me, said, Come up hither, and I will make thee see the (things) which must be after these.
1 Depois dessas coisas olhei, e diante de mim estava uma porta aberta no céu. A voz que eu tinha ouvido no princípio, falando comigo como trombeta, disse: "Suba para cá, e lhe mostrarei o que deve acontecer depois dessas coisas".
2 At once I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne placed in heaven, and upon the throne (One) sat.
2 Imediatamente me vi tomado pelo Espírito, e diante de mim estava um trono no céu e nele estava assentado alguém.
3 And he who sat was like to the appearance of the stone of jaspon, and of sardion; and the bow of the clouds was around the throne, in resemblance to the appearance of zmragda.
3 Aquele que estava assentado era de aspecto semelhante a jaspe e sardônio. Um arco-íris, parecendo uma esmeralda, circundava o trono,
4 Around the throne were seats twenty and four; and upon those seats twenty and four presbyters sitting, who were robed in white vestments, and upon their heads wore coronets of gold.
4 ao redor do qual estavam outros vinte e quatro tronos, e assentados neles havia vinte e quatro anciãos. Eles estavam vestidos de branco e tinham na cabeça coroas de ouro.
5 And from the throne went forth lightnings and the voice of thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire which burned before His throne, which are the seven Spirits of Aloha.
5 Do trono saíam relâmpagos, vozes e trovões. Diante dele estavam acesas sete lâmpadas de fogo, que são os sete espíritos de Deus.
6 And before the throne was a sea of brightness like chrystalos; and in the midst of the throne, and around it, and before the throne, four living-ones, who were full of eyes before and behind.
6 Também diante do trono havia algo parecido com um mar de vidro, claro como cristal. No centro, ao redor do trono, havia quatro seres viventes cobertos de olhos, tanto na frente como atrás.
7 And the first living-one was like the lion, and the second living-one was like the calf, and the third living-one had a face as a man, and the fourth living-one was like the eagle which flieth.
7 O primeiro ser parecia um leão, o segundo parecia um boi, o terceiro tinha rosto como de homem, o quarto parecia uma águia quando em vôo.
8 And these four living-ones, each of them, had six wings round about; and within were full of eyes; and they rest not day and night from saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who wast, and art, and art to come.
8 Cada um deles tinha seis asas e era cheio de olhos, tanto ao redor como por baixo das asas. Dia e noite repetem sem cessar: "Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor, o Deus todo-poderoso, que era, que é e que há de vir".
9 And when those living-ones give glory and honour and thanks unto Him who sitteth upon the throne, to Him who liveth for ever and ever,
9 Toda vez que os seres viventes dão glória, honra e graças àquele que está assentado no trono e que vive para todo o sempre,
10 the four and twenty presbyters fell before Him who sitteth upon the throne, and worshipped Him who liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
10 os vinte e quatro anciãos se prostram diante daquele que está assentado no trono e adoram aquele que vive para todo o sempre. Eles lançam as suas coroas diante do trono, dizem:
11 Worthy art thou, O Lord, And our God the Holy One, To receive glory and honour and power; For thou hast created all, And by thy hand they are, And through thy will they were and are created.
11 "Tu, Senhor e Deus nosso, és digno de receber a glória, a honra e o poder, porque criaste todas as coisas, e por tua vontade elas existem e foram criadas".
