2 Coríntios 5
The Peschito Syriac New Testament (ETHERIDGE) vs NAA
1 FOR we know that if our earthly house of this body were dissolved, we have nevertheless a building that is by Aloha; a house which is not made with hands, in the heaven, eternal.
1 Pois sabemos que, se a nossa casa terrestre deste tabernáculo se desfizer, temos da parte de Deus um edifício, uma casa não feita por mãos humanas, eterna, nos céus.
2 For concerning this also we groan, and long to put on our house which is from heaven,
2 E, por isso, neste tabernáculo gememos, desejando muito ser revestidos da nossa habitação celestial;
3 if, when that we have clothed, we may not be found naked.
3 se, de fato, formos encontrados vestidos e não nus.
4 For now while we are in this house, we groan from the weight of it: yet are we not willing to cast it off, but to be clothed upon of it, that its mortality might be swallowed up in life.
4 Pois nós, os que estamos neste tabernáculo, gememos angustiados, não por querermos ser despidos, mas revestidos, para que o mortal seja absorvido pela vida.
5 And he who prepareth us for this is Aloha, who hath given to us the earnest-pledge of his Spirit.
5 Ora, foi o próprio Deus quem nos preparou para isto, dando-nos o penhor do Espírito.
6 For therefore do we know and are persuaded, that so long as we remain in the body we are in pilgrimage from our Lord.
6 Por isso, temos sempre confiança e sabemos que, enquanto no corpo, estamos ausentes do Senhor.
7 For by faith we walk, and not by sight.
7 Porque andamos por fé e não pelo que vemos.
8 On this account we confide, and long to pass away from the body, and to be with our Lord.
8 Sim, temos tal confiança e preferimos deixar o corpo e habitar com o Senhor.
9 We give diligence, that whether we are pilgrims or inhabitants, we may be pleasing unto Him.
9 É por isso que também nos esforçamos para ser agradáveis a ele, quer presentes, quer ausentes.
10 For we are all to stand before the tribunal of the Meshiha, that every man may be recompensed in his body (for) that which is done in it, whether of good or of evil.
10 Porque é necessário que todos nós compareçamos diante do tribunal de Cristo, para que cada um receba segundo o bem ou o mal que tiver feito por meio do corpo.
11 THEREFORE, because we know the terror of our Lord, we persuade men; and to Aloha we are manifest; but I hope that to your minds also we are manifest.
11 E assim, conhecendo o temor do Senhor, procuramos persuadir as pessoas, mas somos plenamente conhecidos por Deus. E espero que também sejamos reconhecidos na consciência de vocês.
12 For we commend not ourselves again to you, but we give you cause to be boastful of us to them who in appearance boast, but not in heart.
12 Não queremos novamente nos recomendar a vocês; pelo contrário, estamos dando uma oportunidade para vocês se orgulharem por nossa causa, para que tenham o que responder aos que se gloriam na aparência e não no coração.
13 For if we be beside ourselves, (it is) unto Aloha; and if we be right, (it is) unto you.
13 Porque, se enlouquecemos, é para Deus, e, se conservamos o juízo, é para vocês.
14 For the love of the Meshiha constraineth us, because we judge this, That if one for every man hath died, then (was) every man dead.
14 Pois o amor de Cristo nos domina, porque reconhecemos isto: um morreu por todos; logo, todos morreram.
15 And for every man he died, that they who live should not live to themselves, but to him who on their behalf died and arose.
15 E ele morreu por todos, para que os que vivem não vivam mais para si mesmos, mas para aquele que por eles morreu e ressuscitou.
16 And henceforth we no man know according to the flesh; and if we have known the Meshiha according to the flesh, yet from now we know not.
16 Assim que, nós, daqui por diante, a ninguém conhecemos segundo a carne; e, se antes conhecemos Cristo segundo a carne, já agora não o conhecemos deste modo.
17 Whoever therefore is in the Meshiha is a new creature; the old things have passed, and every thing hath become new
17 E, assim, se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criatura; as coisas antigas já passaram; eis que se fizeram novas.
18 from Aloha, who hath reconciled us to himself in the Meshiha, and given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
18 Ora, tudo isso provém de Deus, que nos reconciliou consigo mesmo por meio de Cristo e nos deu o ministério da reconciliação,
19 For Aloha is in the Meshiha, who hath reconciled the world with his greatness; and he hath not reckoned unto them their sins, and hath put in us the word of reconciliation.
19 a saber, que Deus estava em Cristo reconciliando consigo o mundo, não levando em conta os pecados dos seres humanos e nos confiando a palavra da reconciliação.
20 WE are ambassadors then for the Meshiha, and as if Aloha himself besought you by us: instead of the Meshiha, therefore, we beseech, Be you reconciled unto Aloha.
20 Portanto, somos embaixadores em nome de Cristo, como se Deus exortasse por meio de nós. Em nome de Cristo, pois, pedimos que vocês se reconciliem com Deus.
21 For Him who knew not sin, on our account hath he made sin, that we might be in him the righteousness of Aloha.
21 Aquele que não conheceu pecado, Deus o fez pecado por nós, para que, nele, fôssemos feitos justiça de Deus.
