1 This is the third time that I prepare to come to you; and in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
1 Esta é a terceira vez que vou visitá-los. Por boca de duas ou três testemunhas, toda questão será decidida.
2 I have foretold you, and again I foretell you; as also twice while I was with you I told you, (so) now also being distant I write to those who have sinned, and to the rest of the others; that if I come again I will not spare.
2 Já o disse anteriormente e digo de novo, como fiz quando estive presente pela segunda vez. Mas, agora, estando ausente, digo aos que, no passado, pecaram e a todos os demais: se eu for outra vez, não os pouparei,
3 Inasmuch as you demand the proof of the Meshiha who speaketh in me, (of) Him who is not weak among you, but is mighty among you:
3 visto que vocês buscam provas de que Cristo fala em mim. Ele não é fraco quando trata com vocês; pelo contrário, é poderoso entre vocês.
4 -for though he was crucified in weakness, yet he liveth with the power of Aloha:-so also we are weak with you, but we live with him through the power of Aloha which is among you.
4 Porque, de fato, foi crucificado em fraqueza, mas vive pelo poder de Deus. Porque nós também somos fracos nele, mas viveremos com ele, pelo poder de Deus, para o bem de vocês.
5 Prove yourselves, whether in the faith itself you stand; try yourselves. Are you not assured that Jeshu the Meshiha is in you, if you be not reprobates?
5 Examinem-se para ver se realmente estão na fé; provem a si mesmos. Ou não reconhecem que Jesus Cristo está em vocês? A não ser que já tenham sido reprovados.
6 But I trust you will know that we are not reprobate.
6 Mas espero que reconheçam que nós não fomos reprovados.
7 But I implore of Aloha that there may not be any thing in you that is evil, that our proving may be seen; but that you may do good, and that we may be as unproved.
7 Estamos orando a Deus para que vocês não façam mal algum, não para que, simplesmente, pareça que nós fomos aprovados, mas que vocês façam o bem, mesmo que pareça que nós fomos reprovados.
8 For we are not able to do any thing against the truth, but for the truth.
8 Porque nada podemos contra a verdade, senão a favor da verdade.
9 For we rejoice when we are weak, and you are strong: but this also we pray, that you may be perfect.
9 Porque nos alegramos quando nós estamos fracos e vocês estão fortes; e a nossa oração é esta: que vocês sejam aperfeiçoados.
10 Therefore while distant I write these (things), that when I am come I may not act severely, according to the power which my Lord hath given me for your edification, and not for your destruction.
10 Portanto, escrevo estas coisas, estando ausente, para que, estando presente, não venha a usar de rigor segundo a autoridade que o Senhor me deu para edificação e não para destruição.
11 Wherefore, my brethren, rejoice, and be perfect, and be comforted, and let agreement and peace be among you; and the God of love and of peace shall be with you.
11 Quanto ao mais, irmãos, adeus! Procurem aperfeiçoar-se, consolem uns aos outros, tenham o mesmo modo de pensar, vivam em paz. E o Deus de amor e de paz estará com vocês.
12 Salute one another with the holy kiss.
12 Saúdem uns aos outros com um beijo santo. Todos os santos mandam saudações.
13 All the saints ask for your peace.
13 A graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo, e o amor de Deus, e a comunhão do Espírito Santo estejam com todos vocês.
14 THE PEACE OF OUR LORD JESHU MESHIHA, AND THE LOVE OF ALOHA, AND THE COMMUNION OF THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, BE WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.
