1 MY beloved, believe not all spirits, but discern the spirits whether they be from Aloha; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
1 Amados, não deem crédito a qualquer espírito, mas provem os espíritos para ver se procedem de Deus; porque muitos falsos profetas têm saído mundo afora.
2 By this we know the Spirit of Aloha: Every spirit who confesseth that Jeshu Meshiha hath come in the flesh, is from Aloha.
2 Nisto vocês reconhecem o Espírito de Deus: todo espírito que confessa que Jesus Cristo veio em carne é de Deus;
3 And every spirit who confesseth not that Jeshu hath come in the flesh, is not from Aloha: but this is from that false meshiha, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and now is in the world already.
3 e todo espírito que não confessa isso a respeito de Jesus não procede de Deus; pelo contrário, este é o espírito do anticristo, a respeito do qual vocês ouviram dizer que viria e que agora já está no mundo.
4 But you of Aloha are the children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is with you, than he who is in the world.
4 Filhinhos, vocês são de Deus e venceram os falsos profetas, porque aquele que está em vocês é maior do que aquele que está no mundo.
5 And these are of the world, therefore the world heareth them. But we are of Aloha; and he who knoweth Aloha heareth us;
5 Eles procedem do mundo; por essa razão, falam da parte do mundo, e o mundo os ouve.
6 and he who is not of Aloha heareth us not. In this itself we perceive the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.
6 Nós somos de Deus. Quem conhece a Deus nos ouve; quem não é de Deus não nos ouve. Nisto reconhecemos o espírito da verdade e o espírito do erro.
7 my beloved, let us love one another, because love is of Aloha; and every one who loveth from Aloha is born, and knoweth Aloha.
7 Amados, amemo-nos uns aos outros, porque o amor procede de Deus, e todo aquele que ama é nascido de Deus e conhece a Deus.
8 For Aloha is Love; and every one who loveth not, knoweth not Aloha.
8 Quem não ama não conhece a Deus, pois Deus é amor.
9 In this was made known the love of Aloha towards us, that Aloha sent his only Son into the world that we might live by him.
9 Nisto se manifestou o amor de Deus em nós: em haver Deus enviado o seu Filho unigênito ao mundo, para vivermos por meio dele.
10 In this is love: it was not that we had loved Aloha, but that Aloha himself loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.
10 Nisto consiste o amor: não em que nós tenhamos amado a Deus, mas em que ele nos amou e enviou o seu Filho como propiciação pelos nossos pecados.
11 MY beloved, if Aloha so hath loved us, we also are indebted to love one another.
11 Amados, se Deus nos amou de tal maneira, nós também devemos amar uns aos outros.
12 Aloha no man hath seen but if we love one another, Aloha in us abideth, and his love is fulfilled in us.
12 Nunca ninguém viu Deus. Se amarmos uns aos outros, Deus permanece em nós, e o seu amor é, em nós, aperfeiçoado.
13 And by this we know that in him we abide, and he abideth in us, because of his Spirit he hath given us.
13 Nisto conhecemos que permanecemos nele e que ele permanece em nós: pelo fato de nos ter dado do seu Espírito.
14 And we have seen and we testify that the Father hath sent his Son, the Redeemer of the world.
14 E nós temos visto e damos testemunho de que o Pai enviou o seu Filho como Salvador do mundo.
15 Whosoever confesseth Jeshu that he is the Son of Aloha, in him Aloha abideth, and he abideth in Aloha.
15 Aquele que confessar que Jesus é o Filho de Deus, Deus permanece nele, e ele permanece em Deus.
16 And we have believed and known the love which Aloha hath toward us; for Aloha is Love. And every one who abideth in love in Aloha abideth.
16 E nós conhecemos o amor e cremos neste amor que Deus tem por nós. Deus é amor, e aquele que permanece no amor permanece em Deus, e Deus permanece nele.
17 And in this is his love perfected with us, that openness of face we might have in the day of judgment; because that as He was, so also we are in this world.
17 Nisto o amor é aperfeiçoado em nós, para que, no Dia do Juízo, mantenhamos confiança; pois, assim como ele é, também nós somos neste mundo.
18 Fear in love is not: but perfect love hath cast out fear, because fear is in terror. He who feareth is not perfect in love.
18 No amor não existe medo; pelo contrário, o perfeito amor lança fora o medo. Porque o medo envolve castigo, e quem teme não é aperfeiçoado no amor.
19 We then will love Aloha, because he hath first loved us.
19 Nós amamos porque ele nos amou primeiro.
20 But if one shall say, I love Aloha, and his brother he hateth, he is a liar. For he who his brother whom he hath seen loveth not, how can he love Aloha himself whom he hath not seen?
20 Se alguém disser: “Amo a Deus”, mas odiar o seu irmão, esse é mentiroso. Pois quem não ama o seu irmão, a quem vê, não pode amar a Deus, a quem não vê.
21 And this commandment we have received from him, That every one who loveth Aloha shall love also his brother.
21 E o mandamento que dele temos é este: quem ama a Deus, que ame também o seu irmão.
