1 PAULOS the called, and the apostle of Jeshu Meshiha by the will of Aloha, and Sosthenis a brother,
1 Paulo, chamado pela vontade de Deus para ser apóstolo de Cristo Jesus, e o irmão Sóstenes,
2 to the church of Aloha which is in Kurinthos, the called, and the saints who in Jeshu Meshiha are sanctified; and to all them who invoke the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha in every place, theirs and ours:
2 à igreja de Deus que está em Corinto, aos santificados em Cristo Jesus, chamados para ser santos, com todos os que em todos os lugares invocam o nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, Senhor deles e nosso.
3 Grace be with you and peace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
3 Que a graça e a paz de Deus, nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo estejam com vocês.
4 I give thanks to Aloha at all times on your behalf for the grace of Aloha which is given to you through Jeshu Meshiha,
4 Sempre dou graças ao meu Deus por vocês, por causa da graça de Deus que foi dada a vocês em Cristo Jesus.
5 because in every thing you are enriched in him in all utterance and in all knowledge,
5 Porque em tudo vocês foram enriquecidos nele, em toda a palavra e em todo o conhecimento,
6 according to the testimony of the Meshiha, which is confirmed in you.
6 assim como o testemunho de Cristo tem sido confirmado em vocês,
7 That you may not be deficient in one of his gifts, but be expecting the revelation of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
7 de maneira que não lhes falta nenhum dom, enquanto aguardam a revelação de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
8 who will confirm you to the end, that you may be without fault in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
8 Ele também os confirmará até o fim, para que vocês sejam irrepreensíveis no Dia de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
9 Faithful is Aloha, by whom you have been called to the fellowship of his Son Jeshu Meshiha our Lord.
9 Fiel é Deus, pelo qual vocês foram chamados à comunhão de seu Filho Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor.
10 But I beseech of you, my brethren, in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, that you have all one doctrine, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfect in one mind and one sentiment.
10 Irmãos, pelo nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, peço-lhes que todos estejam de acordo naquilo que falam e que não haja divisões entre vocês; pelo contrário, que vocês sejam unidos no mesmo modo de pensar e num mesmo propósito.
11 For they of the house of Kloë have sent to me concerning you, my brethren, that there are contentions among you.
11 Pois, meus irmãos, fui informado a respeito de vocês por alguns membros da casa de Cloe de que há brigas entre vocês.
12 For this I say, that there are some of you who say, I am of Paulos; and some who say, I am of Apollo; and some who say, I am of Kipha; and some who say, I am of the Meshiha!
12 Refiro-me ao fato de cada um de vocês dizer: “Eu sou de Paulo”, “Eu sou de Apolo”, “Eu sou de Cefas”, “Eu sou de Cristo”.
13 Is the Meshiha divided? Or was Paulos crucified for you? Or in the name of Paulos were you baptized?
13 Será que Cristo está dividido? Será que Paulo foi crucificado por vocês ou será que vocês foram batizados em nome de Paulo?
14 I thank Aloha that no man of you I have baptized, but only Krispos and Gaios;
14 Dou graças a Deus por não ter batizado nenhum de vocês, exceto Crispo e Gaio,
15 lest any man should say, that in my name I have baptized.
15 para que ninguém diga que vocês foram batizados em meu nome.
16 But I baptized also the house of Estepana; beyond (these) I know not that any other man I have baptized.
16 Batizei também a casa de Estéfanas. Além destes, não me lembro se batizei algum outro.
17 For the Meshiha sent me not to baptize, but to preach; not with the wisdom of words, lest the cross of the Meshiha should be nullified.
17 Afinal, Cristo não me enviou para batizar, mas para pregar o evangelho, não com sabedoria de palavra, para que não se anule a cruz de Cristo.
18 FOR the doctrine of the cross to those who perish is foolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of Aloha.
18 Certamente a palavra da cruz é loucura para os que se perdem, mas para nós, que somos salvos, ela é poder de Deus.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And I will take away the understanding of the prudent.
19 Pois está escrito: “Destruirei a sabedoria dos sábios e aniquilarei a inteligência dos inteligentes.”
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Or where is the disputer of this world? Hath not . Aloha made foolish the wisdom of this world?
20 Onde está o sábio? Onde está o escriba? Onde está o questionador deste mundo? Não é fato que Deus tornou louca a sabedoria deste mundo?
21 For inasmuch as in the wisdom of Aloha, the world by wisdom hath not known Aloha, it hath pleased Aloha, by the foolishness of preaching, to save them who believe.
21 Visto que, na sabedoria de Deus, o mundo não o conheceu por sua própria sabedoria, Deus achou por bem salvar os que creem por meio da loucura da pregação.
22 For the Jihudoyee demand signs, and the Aramoyee require wisdom;
22 Porque os judeus pedem sinais e os gregos buscam sabedoria,
23 but we preach the Meshiha crucified, a scandal to the Jihudoyee, and to the Aramoyee foolishness;
23 mas nós pregamos o Cristo crucificado, escândalo para os judeus, loucura para os gentios.
24 but to them who are called, Jihudoyee and Aramoyee, the Meshiha is the power of Aloha, and the wisdom of Aloha.
24 Mas, para os que foram chamados, tanto judeus como gregos, Cristo é o poder de Deus e a sabedoria de Deus.
25 For the foolishness of Aloha is wiser than men, and the weakness of Aloha is stronger than men.
25 Porque a loucura de Deus é mais sábia do que a sabedoria humana, e a fraqueza de Deus é mais forte do que a força humana.
26 For you see also your calling, my brethren, that not many among you are wise after the flesh, and not many among you are powerful, and not many among you are of noble birth;
26 Irmãos, considerem a vocação de vocês. Não foram chamados muitos sábios segundo a carne, nem muitos poderosos, nem muitos de nobre nascimento.
27 but Aloha hath chosen the simple of the world, to shame the wise, and he hath chosen the weak of the world, to shame the mighty,
27 Pelo contrário, Deus escolheu as coisas loucas do mundo para envergonhar os sábios e escolheu as coisas fracas do mundo para envergonhar as fortes.
28 and he hath chosen those of low birth in the world, and the outcasts, and those who are nothing, to bring to nothing those who are;
28 E Deus escolheu as coisas humildes do mundo, e as desprezadas, e aquelas que não são, para reduzir a nada as que são,
29 that no flesh may boast before him.
29 a fim de que ninguém se glorie na presença de Deus.
30 But you are of him in Jeshu Meshiha, who hath been made unto us wisdom, of Aloha, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption;
30 Mas vocês são dele, em Cristo Jesus, o qual se tornou para nós, da parte de Deus, sabedoria, justiça, santificação e redenção,
31 according as it is written, He who boasteth, in the Lord let him boast.
31 para que, como está escrito, “aquele que se gloria, glorie-se no Senhor”.
