1 Ao mestre de canto. De Davi. Para servir de lembrança. Comprazei-vos, ó Deus, em me livrar; depressa, Senhor, vinde em meu auxílio.
2 Be they shamed, and ashamed; that seek my life. Be they turned aback; and shame they, that will evils to me. (Be they shamed, and ashamed; all who seek to take my life. Be they turned back, and be ashamed; all who desire evil for me.)
2 Sejam confundidos e humilhados os que odeiam a minha vida. Recuem e corem de vergonha os que se comprazem com meus males.
3 Be they turned away anon, and shame they; that say to me, Well! well! (Be they turned away at once, and be they ashamed; who \+em (scornfully)\+em* say to me, Well! well!)
