1 Forsooth the Lord called Moses, and spake to him from the tabernacle of witnessing, saying, (And the Lord called Moses, and spoke to him from the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, saying,)
1 Da Tenda do Encontro o Senhor chamou Moisés e lhe ordenou:
2 Speak thou to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, A man of you, that offereth to the Lord a sacrifice of beasts, that is, of oxen and of sheep, and offereth slain sacrifices, (Speak thou to the Israelites, and thou shalt say to them, A man of you, who offereth to the Lord a sacrifice of beasts, that is, of oxen or of sheep, and offereth slain sacrifices,)
2 "Diga o seguinte aos israelitas: Quando alguém trouxer um animal como oferta ao Senhor, que seja do gado ou do rebanho de ovelhas.
3 if his offering is burnt sacrifice, and of the drove of oxen, he shall offer a male beast without wem at the door of the tabernacle of witnessing, to make the Lord pleased to him. (if his offering is a burnt sacrifice, from the herd of oxen, he shall offer a male beast without blemish, \+em or without fault\+em*, at the entrance to the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, to gain the Lord’s acceptance.)
3 "Se o holocausto for de gado, oferecerá um macho sem defeito. Ele o apresentará à entrada da Tenda do Encontro para que seja aceito pelo Senhor,
4 And he shall set his hands on the head of the sacrifice, and it shall be acceptable, and profiting into the cleansing of him. (And he shall put \+em his\+em* hands upon the head of the sacrifice, and it shall be acceptable, and profiting into his cleansing.)
4 e porá a mão sobre a cabeça do animal do holocausto para que seja aceito como propiciação em seu lugar.
5 And he shall offer a calf before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron, [the] priests, shall offer the blood thereof, and they shall shed it by compass of the altar, that is before the door of the tabernacle. (And he shall offer a calf before the Lord, and the priests, the sons of Aaron, shall offer its blood, and they shall throw it against all the sides of the altar, that is in front of the entrance to the Tabernacle.)
5 Então o novilho será morto perante o Senhor, e os sacerdotes, descendentes de Arão, trarão o sangue e o derramarão nos lados do altar, que está na entrada da Tenda do Encontro.
6 And when the skin of the sacrifice is drawn away, they shall cut the members into gobbets (or into pieces);
6 Depois se tirará a pele do animal, que será cortado em pedaços.
7 and they shall put under the altar the fire, and they shall make an heap of wood ready before; (and they shall put a fire on the altar, and put wood on the fire;)
7 Então os descendentes do sacerdote Arão acenderão o fogo do altar e arrumarão a lenha sobre o fogo.
8 and they shall ordain above that wood those things that be cut, that is, the head, and all things that cleave to the maw, (and on top of \+em that wood\+em* they shall put those things that be cut, \+em or be carved\+em*, that is, the head, and the suet, \+em or the fat\+em*,)
8 Em seguida arrumarão os pedaços, inclusive a cabeça e a gordura, sobre a lenha que está no fogo do altar.
9 when the entrails and the feet be washed with water; and the priest shall burn those on the altar, into burnt sacrifice, and to sweet odour to the Lord. (and after the innards and the feet be washed in water, the priest shall burn all these things offered on the altar, for a burnt sacrifice, to make the sweetest aroma to the Lord.)
9 As vísceras e as pernas serão lavadas com água. E o sacerdote queimará tudo isso no altar. É um holocausto, oferta preparada no fogo, de aroma agradável ao Senhor.
10 That if the offering is of little beasts, a burnt sacrifice of sheep, either of goats, he shall offer a male beast without wem, (And if the offering is of small beasts, that is, a burnt sacrifice of sheep, or of goats, he shall offer a male beast without blemish, \+em or without fault\+em*,)
10 "Se a oferta for um holocausto do rebanho, quer de cordeiros quer de cabritos, oferecerá um macho sem defeito.
11 and he shall offer that at the side of the altar that beholdeth to the north, before the Lord. Soothly the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood thereof on the altar by compass, (or And the priests, the sons of Aaron, shall throw its blood against all the sides of the altar),
11 O animal será morto no lado norte do altar, perante o Senhor; os sacerdotes, descendentes de Arão, derramarão o sangue nos lados do altar.
12 and they shall part the members, the head, and all things that cleave to the maw, (or and they shall cut the members, the head, and the suet, \+em or the fat\+em*), and they shall put them on the wood, under which the fire shall be set;
12 Então o animal será cortado em pedaços. O sacerdote arrumará os pedaços, inclusive a cabeça e a gordura, sobre a lenha que está no fogo do altar.
13 soothly they shall wash in water the entrails and [the] feet; and the priest shall burn all things offered on the altar, into burnt sacrifice, and sweetest odour to the Lord. (and they shall wash the innards and the feet in water; and the priest shall burn all the things offered on the altar, for a burnt sacrifice, to make the sweetest aroma to the Lord.)
13 As vísceras e as pernas serão lavadas com água. O sacerdote trará tudo isso como oferta e o queimará no altar. É um holocausto, oferta preparada no fogo, de aroma agradável ao Senhor.
14 Forsooth if the offering of burnt sacrifice to the Lord is of birds, of turtles, or of culver birds, (And if the offering to the Lord is a burnt sacrifice of birds, that is, of turtledoves, or of young pigeons,)
14 "Se a sua oferta ao Senhor for um holocausto de aves, traga uma rolinha ou um pombinho.
15 the priest shall offer it at the altar; and when the head is writhed to the neck, and the place of the wound is broken, he shall make the blood run down on the brink of the altar.
15 O sacerdote trará a ave ao altar, destroncará o pescoço dela e a queimará, e deixará escorrer o sangue da ave na parede do altar.
16 Soothly he shall cast forth the little bladder of the throat, or the crop, and the feathers beside the altar, at the east coast, in the place in the which the ashes be wont to be cast out; (And he shall throw away the crop of the throat, and the feathers, beside the altar, on the east side, in the place where the ashes be poured out;)
16 Ele retirará o papo com o seu conteúdo e o jogará ao lado leste do altar, onde ficam as cinzas.
17 and the priest shall break the wings thereof, and he shall not carve it, neither part it with iron; and he shall burn it on the altar, when fire is put under the wood; it is a burnt sacrifice, and an offering of sweetest odour to the Lord. (and the priest shall break its wings, but he shall not carve it, or cut it, with anything made out of iron; and he shall burn it on the altar, when fire is put under the wood; yea, it is a burnt sacrifice, for an offering of the sweetest aroma to the Lord.)
17 Rasgará a ave pelas asas, sem dividi-la totalmente, e então o sacerdote a queimará sobre a lenha acesa no altar. É um holocausto, oferta preparada no fogo, de aroma agradável ao Senhor".
