¹ I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

¹ Salmo de Davi. Cantarei a misericórdia e o juízo; a ti, ó SENHOR, eu cantarei.

² I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

² Comportar-me-ei sabiamente no caminho perfeito. Oh, quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração perfeito.

³ I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave unto me.

³ Não porei coisa maligna diante dos meus olhos. Eu odeio a obra daqueles que se desviam; não me contaminará.

⁴ A froward heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

⁴ Um coração perverso se apartará de mim; eu não conhecerei a pessoa maligna.

⁵ Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I destroy: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

⁵ Aquele que calunia o seu próximo secretamente, eu o cortarei; aquele que tem um olhar soberbo e um coração orgulhoso, eu não o suportarei.

⁶ Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.

⁶ Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que eles habitem comigo; aquele que anda no caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.

⁷ He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

⁷ Aquele que lida com engano não habitará dentro da minha casa; o que fala mentiras não permanecerá aos meus olhos.

⁸ Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.

⁸ Cedo irei destruir todos os ímpios da terra, cortarei todos os ímpios da cidade do SENHOR.
