1 Now Sarai|strong="H8297", Abram’s wife, had|strong="H3205" borne|strong="H3205" him|strong="H3205" no|strong="H3808" children|strong="H3205", but|strong="H3808" she|strong="H3808" had|strong="H3205" an|strong="H3205" Egyptian|strong="H4713" slave-girl whose|strong="H8034" name|strong="H8034" was|strong="H8034" Hagar|strong="H1904".
1 Ora, Sarai, mulher de Abrão, não lhe dava filhos. Tinha ela uma serva egípcia, que se chamava Agar.
2 Sarai|strong="H8297" said|strong="H8085" to|strong="H3068" Abram, ‘the|strong="H8085" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* has|strong="H3068" denied me|strong="H4994" children|strong="H3205"; Take my|strong="H8085" slave-girl; maybe I|strong="H2009" will|strong="H3068" obtain|strong="H1129" children|strong="H3205" by|strong="H3068" her|strong="H1129".’ Then|strong="H2009" Abram listened|strong="H8085" to|strong="H3068" her|strong="H1129"
2 Disse Sarai a Abrão: Eis que o Senhor me tem impedido de ter filhos; toma, pois, a minha serva; porventura terei filhos por meio dela. E ouviu Abrão a voz de Sarai.
3 so|strong="H3947" she|strong="H6235" took|strong="H3947" Hagar|strong="H1904" the|strong="H5414" Egyptian|strong="H4713", her|strong="H5414" slave-girl, after|strong="H7093" Abram had|strong="H5414" lived|strong="H3427" for|strong="H3427" ten|strong="H6235" years|strong="H8141" in|strong="H3427" the|strong="H5414" land of|strong="H8141" Canaan|strong="H3667", and|strong="H8141" gave|strong="H5414" her|strong="H5414" to|strong="H5414" Abram her|strong="H5414" husband to|strong="H5414" be|strong="H5414" his|strong="H5414" wife
3 Assim Sarai, mulher de Abrão, tomou a Agar a egípcia, sua serva, e a deu por mulher a Abrão seu marido, depois de Abrão ter habitado dez anos na terra de Canaã.
4 and|strong="H5869" Abram lay with|strong="H5869" Hagar|strong="H1904", and|strong="H5869" she|strong="H3588" conceived|strong="H2029". When|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" saw|strong="H7200" that|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" had|strong="H3588" conceived|strong="H2029", she|strong="H3588" looked|strong="H7200" with|strong="H5869" contempt|strong="H7043" on|strong="H7200" her|strong="H7200" mistress|strong="H1404".
4 E ele conheceu a Agar, e ela concebeu; e vendo ela que concebera, foi sua senhora desprezada aos seus olhos.
5 Sarai|strong="H8297" complained to|strong="H3068" Abram, ‘May|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" wrong|strong="H2555" I|strong="H3588" suffer|strong="H5414" be|strong="H3068" on|strong="H5921" you|strong="H3588"! I|strong="H3588" myself gave|strong="H5414" my|strong="H5414" slave-girl to|strong="H3068" you|strong="H3588"; and|strong="H3068" now|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" sees|strong="H7200" that|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" has|strong="H3068" conceived|strong="H2029", I|strong="H3588" am|strong="H3068" despised|strong="H7043" by|strong="H5921" her|strong="H5414"; may|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* judge|strong="H8199" between|strong="H8199" me|strong="H5414" and|strong="H3068" you|strong="H3588".’
5 Então disse Sarai a Abrão: Sobre ti seja a afronta que me é dirigida a mim; pus a minha serva em teu regaço; vendo ela agora que concebeu, sou desprezada aos seus olhos; o Senhor julgue entre mim e ti.
6 But|strong="H2009" Abram said to|strong="H6213" Sarai|strong="H8297", ‘Your|strong="H6440" maid-servant is|strong="H3027" in|strong="H6213" your|strong="H6440" power|strong="H3027", do|strong="H6213" to|strong="H6213" her|strong="H6213" whatever|strong="H2896" seems|strong="H2896" right|strong="H5869" to|strong="H6213" you|strong="H6440".’ Then|strong="H2009" Sarai|strong="H8297" ill-treated her|strong="H6213" so|strong="H6213" that|strong="H3027" she|strong="H6440" fled|strong="H1272" from|strong="H6440" her|strong="H6213" presence|strong="H6440".
6 Ao que disse Abrão a Sarai: Eis que tua serva está nas tuas mãos; faze-lhe como bem te parecer. E Sarai maltratou-a, e ela fugiu de sua face.
7 The|strong="H5921" messenger|strong="H4397" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* found|strong="H4672" her|strong="H5921" by|strong="H5921" a|strong="H3068" spring|strong="H5869" of|strong="H3068" water|strong="H4325" in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" wilderness|strong="H4057", by|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" spring|strong="H5869" in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" way|strong="H1870" to|strong="H3068" Shur|strong="H7793".
7 Então o anjo do Senhor, achando-a junto a uma fonte no deserto, a fonte que está no caminho de Sur,
8 He|strong="H6440" said, ‘Hagar|strong="H1904", Sarai|strong="H8297"’s slave-girl, where|strong="H2088" have|strong="H2088" you|strong="H6440" come|strong="H3212" from|strong="H6440"? And|strong="H3212" where|strong="H2088" are|strong="H6440" you|strong="H6440" going|strong="H3212"?’ She|strong="H6440" said, ‘I|strong="H2088" am fleeing|strong="H1272" from|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" presence|strong="H6440" of|strong="H6440" mistress|strong="H1404" Sarai|strong="H8297".’
8 perguntou-lhe: Agar, serva de Sarai, donde vieste, e para onde vais? Respondeu ela: Da presença de Sarai, minha senhora, vou fugindo.
9 Then|strong="H7725" the|strong="H3068" messenger|strong="H4397" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* said to|strong="H7725" her|strong="H7725", ‘Return|strong="H7725" to|strong="H7725" your|strong="H3068" mistress|strong="H1404" and|strong="H3068" submit|strong="H6031" yourself|strong="H6031" to|strong="H7725" her|strong="H7725" authority|strong="H3027".’
9 Disse-lhe o anjo do Senhor: Torna-te para tua senhora, e humilha-te debaixo das suas mãos.
10 Moreover the|strong="H3068" messenger|strong="H4397" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* said to|strong="H3068" her|strong="H7235", ‘I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3068" make|strong="H7235" your|strong="H3068" descendants|strong="H2233" so|strong="H3808" many|strong="H7230" that|strong="H3068" they|strong="H3068" can|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" numbered|strong="H5608" because|strong="H7230" they|strong="H3068" are|strong="H3068" so|strong="H3808" numerous|strong="H7235".’
10 Disse-lhe mais o anjo do Senhor: Multiplicarei sobremaneira a tua descendência, de modo que não será contada, por numerosa que será.
11 The|strong="H8085" messenger|strong="H4397" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H8085" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* also|strong="H3068" said|strong="H7121" to|strong="H3068" her|strong="H7121", ‘You|strong="H3588" are|strong="H1121" pregnant|strong="H2030", and|strong="H1121" will|strong="H3068" have|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" son|strong="H1121"; you|strong="H3588" must|strong="H1121" call|strong="H7121" him|strong="H3205" Ishmael|strong="H3458" God|strong="H3068" hears|strong="H8085", because|strong="H3588" the|strong="H8085" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* has|strong="H3068" heard|strong="H8085" of|strong="H1121" your|strong="H3068" ill-treatment.’
11 Disse-lhe ainda o anjo do Senhor: Eis que concebeste, e terás um filho, a quem chamarás Ismael; porquanto o Senhor ouviu a tua aflição.
12 He|strong="H1931" will|strong="H1961" be|strong="H1961" like|strong="H1961" a|strong="H3068" wild|strong="H6501" donkey|strong="H6501",
12 Ele será como um jumento selvagem entre os homens; a sua mão será contra todos, e a mão de todos contra ele; e habitará diante da face de todos os seus irmãos.
13 Then|strong="H1696" she|strong="H3588" called|strong="H7121" the|strong="H7200" name|strong="H8034" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H7200" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*, who|strong="H3068" had|strong="H3068" spoken|strong="H1696" to|strong="H1696" her|strong="H7200", El-roi (You|strong="H3588" are|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068" who|strong="H3068" sees|strong="H7200" me|strong="H7200"); for|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" said|strong="H1696", ‘Have|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3588" seen|strong="H7200" God|strong="H3068" and|strong="H3068" am|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3588" still|strong="H3588" alive|strong="H7200" after|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" have|strong="H3068" looked|strong="H7200" upon|strong="H7121" him|strong="H7121"?’
13 E ela chamou, o nome do Senhor, que com ela falava, El-Rói; pois disse: Não tenho eu também olhado neste lugar para aquele que me vê?
14 Therefore|strong="H3651" the|strong="H5921" well|strong="H3651" is|strong="H2009" called|strong="H7121" Beer-lahai-roi, (it|strong="H7121" is|strong="H2009" between|strong="H5921" Kadesh|strong="H6946" and|strong="H7121" Bered|strong="H1260")
14 Pelo que se chamou aquele poço Beer-Laai-Rói; ele está entre Cades e Berede.
15 Hagar|strong="H1904" bore|strong="H3205" Abram a|strong="H3068" son|strong="H1121", and|strong="H1121" Abram named|strong="H7121" his|strong="H7121" son|strong="H1121", whom|strong="H7121" Hagar|strong="H1904" bore|strong="H3205", Ishmael|strong="H3458".
15 E Agar deu um filho a Abrão; e Abrão pôs o nome de Ismael no seu filho que tivera de Agar.
16 Abram was|strong="H1121" eighty-six|strong="H8084" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121", when|strong="H1121" Hagar|strong="H1904" bore|strong="H3205" Ishmael|strong="H3458".
16 Ora, tinha Abrão oitenta e seis anos, quando Agar lhe deu Ismael.
