1 Then the word of the Lord came to Iehu the sonne of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
1 Então, veio a palavra do Senhor a Jeú, filho de Hanani, contra Baasa, dizendo:
2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee captaine ouer my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Ieroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sinne, to prouoke me with their sinnes,
2 Porquanto te levantei do pó e te pus por chefe sobre o meu povo Israel, e tu andaste no caminho de Jeroboão e fizeste pecar a meu povo Israel, irritando-me com os seus pecados,
3 Beholde, I will take away the posteritie of Baasha, and the posteritie of his house, and will make thine house like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat.
3 eis que tirarei os descendentes de Baasa e os descendentes da sua casa e farei à tua casa como à casa de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate.
4 He that dyeth of Baashas stocke in the citie, him shall the dogs eate: and that man of him which dyeth in the fieldes, shall the foules of the ayre eate.
4 Quem morrer a Baasa na cidade, os cães o comerão; e o que dele morrer no campo, as aves do céu o comerão.
5 And the rest of the actes of Baasha and what he did, and his power, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
5 Quanto ao mais dos atos de Baasa, e ao que fez, e ao seu poder, porventura, não está escrito no Livro das Crônicas dos Reis de Israel?
6 So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Tirzah, and Elah his sonne reigned in his steade.
6 E Baasa dormiu com seus pais e foi sepultado em Tirza; e Elá, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
7 And also by the hande of Iehu the sonne of Hanani the Prophet, came the worde of the Lord to Baasha, and to his house, that he shoulde be like the house of Ieroboam, euen for all the wickednes that he did in the sight of the Lord, in prouoking him with the worke of his hands, and because he killed him.
7 Assim, veio também a palavra do Senhor , pelo ministério do profeta Jeú, filho de Hanani, contra Baasa e contra a sua casa; e isso por todo o mal que fizera aos olhos do Senhor , irritando-o com a obra de suas mãos, para ser como a casa de Jeroboão; e, por isso, o ferira.
8 In the sixe and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah began Elah ye sonne of Baasha to reigne ouer Israel in Tirzah, and reigned two yeere.
8 No ano vinte e seis de Asa, rei de Judá, Elá, filho de Baasa, começou a reinar em Tirza sobre Israel; e reinou dois anos.
9 And his seruant Zimri, captaine of halfe his charets, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah drinking, til he was drunken in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
9 E Zinri, seu servo, chefe de metade dos carros, conspirou contra ele, estando ele em Tirza bebendo e embriagando-se em casa de Arsa, mordomo em Tirza.
10 And Zimri came and smote him and killed him, in the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah, and reigned in his stead.
10 Entrou, pois, Zinri, e o feriu, e o matou, no ano vigésimo sétimo de Asa, rei de Judá; e reinou em seu lugar.
11 And when he was King, and sate on his throne, he slew al the house of Baasha, not leauing thereof one to pisse against a wall, neither of his kinsfolkes nor of his friendes.
11 E sucedeu que, reinando ele e estando assentado no seu trono feriu, a toda a casa de Baasa; não lhe deixou homem algum, nem a seus parentes, nem a seus amigos.
12 So did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the Lord which he spake against Baasha by the hande of Iehu the Prophet,
12 Assim, destruiu Zinri toda a casa de Baasa, conforme a palavra do Senhor que falara pelo ministério do profeta Jeú, sobre Baasa,
13 For all the sinnes of Baasha, and sinnes of Elah his sonne, which they sinned and made Israel to sinne, and prouoked the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
13 por todos os pecados de Baasa, e os pecados de Elá, seu filho, com que pecaram e com que fizeram pecar a Israel, irritando ao Senhor , Deus de Israel com as suas vaidades.
14 And the rest of the actes of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
14 Quanto ao mais dos atos de Elá e a tudo quanto fez, porventura, não está escrito no Livro das Crônicas dos Reis de Israel?
15 In the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Zimri reigne seuen dayes in Tirzah, and the people was then in campe against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims.
15 No ano vigésimo sétimo de Asa, rei de Judá, reinou Zinri sete dias em Tirza; e o povo estava acampado contra Gibetom, que era dos filisteus.
16 And the people of the hoste heard saye, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slayne the King. Wherefore all Israel made Omri the captaine of the hoste, king ouer Israel that same day, euen in the hoste.
16 E ouviu dizer o povo que estava acampado: Zinri tem conspirado e até feriu o rei. Todo o Israel, pois, no mesmo dia, fez rei sobre Israel a Onri, chefe do exército no arraial.
17 Then Omri went vp from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
17 E subiu Onri, e todo o Israel com ele, de Gibetom, e cercaram a Tirza.
18 And when Zimri saw, that the citie was taken, he went into the palace of the Kings house, and burnt himselfe, and the Kings house with fire, and so dyed,
18 E sucedeu que Zinri, vendo que a cidade era tomada, se foi ao paço da casa do rei, e queimou sobre si a casa do rei, e morreu,
19 For his sinnes which hee sinned, in doing that which is euil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinnes which he did, causing Israel to sinne.
19 por causa dos seus pecados que cometera, fazendo o que era mal aos olhos do Senhor , andando no caminho de Jeroboão e no seu pecado que fizera, fazendo pecar a Israel.
20 And the rest of the actes of Zimri, and his treason that hee wrought, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kinges of Israel?
20 Quanto ao mais dos atos de Zinri, e à conspiração que fez, porventura, não está escrito no Livro das Crônicas dos Reis de Israel?
21 Then were the people of Israel deuided into two partes: for halfe the people followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath to make him King, and the other halfe followed Omri.
21 Então, o povo de Israel se dividiu em dois partidos: metade do povo seguia a Tibni, filho de Ginate, para o fazer rei, e a outra metade seguia a Onri.
22 But the people that folowed Omri, preuayled against the people that followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath: so Tibni dyed, and Omri reigned.
22 Mas o povo que seguia a Onri foi mais forte do que o povo que seguia a Tibni, filho de Ginate; e Tibni morreu, e Onri reinou.
23 In the one and thirtie yeere of Asa King of Iudah bega Omri to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned twelue yeere. Sixe yeere reigned he in Tirzah.
23 No ano trinta e um de Asa, rei de Judá, Onri começou a reinar sobre Israel e reinou doze anos; e em Tirza reinou seis anos.
24 And he bought the mountaine Samaria of one Shemer for two talents of siluer, and buylt in the mountaine, and called the name of the citie, which he buylt, after the name of Shemer lord of the mountaine, Samaria.
24 E de Semer comprou o monte de Samaria por dois talentos de prata, e edificou no monte, e chamou o nome da cidade que edificou do nome de Semer, senhor do monte de Samaria.
25 But Omri did euil in the eyes of the Lord, and did worse then all that were before him.
25 E fez Onri o que era mal aos olhos do Senhor ; e fez pior do que todos quantos foram antes dele.
26 For he walked in all the way of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and in his sinnes wherewith he made Israel to sinne in prouoking the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
26 E andou em todos os caminhos de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, como também nos seus pecados com que tinha feito pecar a Israel, irritando ao Senhor , Deus de Israel, com as suas vaidades.
27 And the rest of the actes of Omri, that hee did, and his strength that he shewed, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
27 Quanto ao mais dos atos de Onri, ao que fez e ao seu poder que manifestou, porventura, não está escrito no Livro das Crônicas dos Reis de Israel?
28 And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Samaria: and Ahab his sonne reigned in his stead.
28 E Onri dormiu com seus pais e foi sepultado em Samaria; e Acabe, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
29 Nowe Ahab the sonne of Omri began to reigne ouer Israel, in the eyght and thirtie yeere of Asa king of Iudah: and Ahab the sonne of Omri reigned ouer Israel in Samaria two and twenty yere.
29 E Acabe, filho de Onri, começou a reinar sobre Israel no ano trigésimo oitavo de Asa, rei de Judá; e reinou Acabe, filho de Onri, sobre Israel em Samaria, vinte e dois anos.
30 And Ahab the sonne of Omri did worse in ye sight of the Lord then al that were before him.
30 E fez Acabe, filho de Onri, o que era mal aos olhos do Senhor , mais do que todos os que foram antes dele.
31 For was it a light thing for him to walke in the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, except hee tooke Iezebel also the daughter of Ethbaal King of the Zidonians to wife, and went and serued Baal, and worshipped him?
31 E sucedeu que (como se fora coisa leve andar nos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate), ainda tomou por mulher a Jezabel, filha de Etbaal, rei dos sidônios; e foi, e serviu a Baal, e se encurvou diante dele.
32 Also he reared vp an altar to Baal in the house of Baal, which he had buylt in Samaria.
32 E levantou um altar a Baal, na casa de Baal que edificara em Samaria.
33 And Ahab made a groue, and Ahab proceeded, and did prouoke the Lord God of Israel more then all the kings of Israel that were before him.
33 Também Acabe fez um bosque, de maneira que Acabe fez muito mais para irritar ao Senhor , Deus de Israel, do que todos os reis de Israel que foram antes dele.
34 In his dayes did Hiel the Bethelite buylde Iericho: he layed the foundation thereof in Abiram his eldest sonne, and set vp the gates thereof in his yongest sonne Segub, according to the worde of the Lord which he spake by Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
34 Em seus dias, Hiel, o betelita, edificou a Jericó; morrendo Abirão, seu primogênito, a fundou; e, morrendo Segube, seu último, pôs as suas portas; conforme a palavra do Senhor , que falara pelo ministério de Josué, filho de Num.
