1 Tornei a levantar os olhos e vi, e eis um rolo voante.

2 Perguntou-me o anjo: Que vês? Eu respondi: vejo um rolo voante, que tem vinte côvados de comprimento e dez de largura.
3 Then|strong="H3318" the|strong="H3605" angel told|strong="H0559" me|strong="H0413", “There|strong="H2088" is|strong="H2088" a|strong="H3588" curse|strong="H0423" written on|strong="H5921" that|strong="H3588" scroll. On|strong="H5921" one|strong="H2088" side|strong="H2088" of|strong="H0776" the|strong="H3605" scroll, there|strong="H2088" is|strong="H2088" a|strong="H3588" curse|strong="H0423" against|strong="H5921" thieves and|strong="H0776" on|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" other|strong="H2088" side|strong="H2088" is|strong="H2088" a|strong="H3588" curse|strong="H0423" against|strong="H5921" people|strong="H0776" who|strong="H3605" lie when|strong="H3588" they|strong="H3588" make|strong="H3588" promises|strong="H7650".
3 Então, me disse: Esta é a maldição que sai pela face de toda a terra, porque qualquer que furtar será expulso segundo a maldição, e qualquer que jurar falsamente será expulso também segundo a mesma.

That|strong="H3068" scroll will|strong="H3068" settle there|strong="H8432" and|strong="H0935" destroy|strong="H3615" even the|strong="H5002" stones|strong="H0068" and|strong="H0935" wooden|strong="H6086" posts of|strong="H1004" their|strong="H3068" houses|strong="H1004".’”
4 Fá-la-ei sair, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, e a farei entrar na casa do ladrão e na casa do que jurar falsamente pelo meu nome; nela, pernoitará e consumirá a sua madeira e as suas pedras.

5 Saiu o anjo que falava comigo e me disse: Levanta, agora, os olhos e vê que é isto que sai.

6 Eu perguntei: que é isto? Ele me respondeu: É um efa que sai. Disse ainda: Isto é a iniquidade em toda a terra.

7 Eis que foi levantada a tampa de chumbo, e uma mulher estava sentada dentro do efa.

8 Prosseguiu o anjo: Isto é a impiedade. E a lançou para o fundo do efa, sobre cuja boca pôs o peso de chumbo.
9 Then|strong="H3318" I|strong="H2009" looked|strong="H7200" up|strong="H5375" and|strong="H0776" saw|strong="H7200" two|strong="H8147" women|strong="H0802" with|strong="H0776" wings|strong="H3671" like|strong="H0776" a|strong="H7200" stork|strong="H2624". They|strong="H2007" flew|strong="H3318" out|strong="H3318", and|strong="H0776" with|strong="H0776" the|strong="H0853" wind|strong="H7307" in|strong="H0776" their|strong="H5375" wings|strong="H3671", they|strong="H2007" picked|strong="H5375" up|strong="H5375" the|strong="H0853" bucket. They|strong="H2007" flew|strong="H3318" through|strong="H0776" the|strong="H0853" air|strong="H7307" carrying|strong="H5375" the|strong="H0853" bucket.
9 Levantei os olhos e vi, e eis que saíram duas mulheres; havia vento em suas asas, que eram como de cegonha; e levantaram o efa entre a terra e o céu.

10 Então, perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: para onde levam elas o efa?
11 The|strong="H0559" angel told|strong="H0559" me|strong="H0413", “They|strong="H8033" are|strong="H0776" going to|strong="H0413" build|strong="H1129" a|strong="H1129" house|strong="H1004" for|strong="H5921" it|strong="H5921" in|strong="H5921" Babylonia. After|strong="H5921" they|strong="H8033" build|strong="H1129" that|strong="H0559" house|strong="H1004", they|strong="H8033" will|strong="H0776" put|strong="H3240" the|strong="H0559" bucket there|strong="H8033".”
11 Respondeu-me: Para edificarem àquela mulher uma casa na terra de Sinar, e, estando esta acabada, ela será posta ali em seu próprio lugar.
