1 When he sawe the people he went vp into a mountayne and when he was set his disciples came to hym
1 Vendo as multidões, Jesus subiu ao monte e se assentou. Seus discípulos aproximaram-se dele,
2 and he opened hys mouthe and taught them sayinge:
2 e ele começou a ensiná-los, dizendo:
3 Blessed are the povre in sprete: for theirs is the kyngdome of heven.
3 "Bem-aventurados os pobres em espírito, pois deles é o Reino dos céus.
4 Blessed are they that morne: for they shalbe conforted.
4 Bem-aventurados os que choram, pois serão consolados.
5 Blessed are the meke: for they shall inheret the erth.
5 Bem-aventurados os humildes, pois eles receberão a terra por herança.
6 Blessed are they which honger and thurst for rightewesnes: for they shalbe filled.
6 Bem-aventurados os que têm fome e sede de justiça, pois serão satisfeitos.
7 Blessed are the mercifull: for they shall obteyne mercy.
7 Bem-aventurados os misericordiosos, pois obterão misericórdia.
8 Blessed are the pure in herte: for they shall se God.
8 Bem-aventurados os puros de coração, pois verão a Deus.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shalbe called the chyldren of God.
9 Bem-aventurados os pacificadores, pois serão chamados filhos de Deus.
10 Blessed are they which suffre persecucion for rightwesnes sake: for theirs ys the kyngdome of heuen.
10 Bem-aventurados os perseguidos por causa da justiça, pois deles é o Reino dos céus.
11 Blessed are ye when men reuyle you and persecute you and shall falsly say all manner of yvell saynges agaynst you for my sake.
11 "Bem-aventurados serão vocês quando, por minha causa os insultarem, perseguirem e levantarem todo tipo de calúnia contra vocês.
12 Reioyce and be glad for greate is youre rewarde in heven. For so persecuted they the Prophetes which were before youre dayes.
12 Alegrem-se e regozijem-se, porque grande é a recompensa de vocês nos céus, pois da mesma forma perseguiram os profetas que viveram antes de vocês".
13 ye are the salt of the erthe: but and yf the salt have lost hir saltnes what can be salted ther with? It is thence forthe good for nothynge but to be cast oute and to be troade vnder fote of men.
13 "Vocês são o sal da terra. Mas se o sal perder o seu sabor, como restaurá-lo? Não servirá para nada, exceto para ser jogado fora e pisado pelos homens.
14 ye are the light of the worlde. A cite that is set on an hill cannot be hid
14 "Vocês são a luz do mundo. Não se pode esconder uma cidade construída sobre um monte.
15 nether do men lyght a cadell and put it vnder a busshell but on a candelstick and it lighteth all that are in the house.
15 E, também, ninguém acende uma candeia e a coloca debaixo de uma vasilha. Pelo contrário, coloca-a no lugar apropriado, e assim ilumina a todos os que estão na casa.
16 Let youre light so shyne before men that they maye se youre good workes and glorify youre father which is in heven.
16 Assim brilhe a luz de vocês diante dos homens, para que vejam as suas boas obras e glorifiquem ao Pai de vocês, que está nos céus".
17 Thinke not that I am come to destroye the lawe or the Prophets: no I am nott come to destroye them but to fulfyll them.
17 "Não pensem que vim abolir a Lei ou os Profetas; não vim abolir, mas cumprir.
18 For truely I saye vnto you till heven and erth perisshe one iott or one tytle of the lawe shall not scape tyll all be fulfilled.
18 Digo-lhes a verdade: Enquanto existirem céus e terra, de forma alguma desaparecerá da Lei a menor letra ou o menor traço, até que tudo se cumpra.
19 Whosoever breaketh one of these lest commaundmentes and teacheth men so he shalbe called the leest in the kyngdome of heven. But whosoever obserueth and teacheth the same shal be called greate in the kyngdome of heven.
19 Todo aquele que desobedecer a um desses mandamentos, ainda que dos menores, e ensinar os outros a fazerem o mesmo, será chamado menor no Reino dos céus; mas todo aquele que praticar e ensinar estes mandamentos será chamado grande no Reino dos céus.
20 For I saye vnto you except youre rightewesnes excede the righetewesnes of the Scribes and Pharises ye cannot entre into the kyngdome of heven.
20 Pois eu lhes digo que se a justiça de vocês não for muito superior à dos fariseus e mestres da lei, de modo nenhum entrarão no Reino dos céus".
21 ye have herde howe it was sayd vnto the of the olde tyme: Thou shalt not kyll. For whoso ever kylleth shall be in daunger of iudgement.
21 "Vocês ouviram o que foi dito aos seus antepassados: ‘Não matarás’, e ‘quem matar estará sujeito a julgamento’.
22 But I say vnto you, whosoever is angre with hys brother, shalbe in daunger of iudgement. Whosoeuer sayeth vnto his brother Racha shalbe in dauger of a consell. But whosoeuer sayeth thou fole shalbe in dauger of hell fyre.
22 Mas eu lhes digo que qualquer que se irar contra seu irmão estará sujeito a julgamento. Também, qualquer que disser a seu irmão: ‘Racá’, será levado ao tribunal. E qualquer que disser: ‘Louco! ’, corre o risco de ir para o fogo do inferno.
23 Therfore when thou offrest thy gifte at the altare and their remembrest that thy brother hath ought agaynst the:
23 "Portanto, se você estiver apresentando sua oferta diante do altar e ali se lembrar de que seu irmão tem algo contra você,
24 leue there thyne offrynge before the altre and go thy waye first and be reconcyled to thy brother and then come and offre thy gyfte.
24 deixe sua oferta ali, diante do altar, e vá primeiro reconciliar-se com seu irmão; depois volte e apresente sua oferta.
25 Agre with thyne adversary quicklye, whyles thou arte in the waye with hym lest that adversary deliver ye to the iudge and the iudge, delivre ye to the minister, and the thou be cast into preson.
25 "Entre em acordo depressa com seu adversário que pretende levá-lo ao tribunal. Faça isso enquanto ainda estiver com ele a caminho, pois, caso contrário, ele poderá entregá-lo ao juiz, e o juiz ao guarda, e você poderá ser jogado na prisão.
26 I say vnto ye verely: thou shalt not come out thece till thou have payed the utmost farthige.
26 Eu lhe garanto que você não sairá de lá enquanto não pagar o último centavo".
27 ye haue hearde howe it was sayde to the of olde tyme: Thou shalt not committ advoutrie.
27 "Vocês ouviram o que foi dito: ‘Não adulterarás’.
28 But I say vnto you that whosoeuer looketh on a wyfe lustynge after her hathe committed advoutrie with hir alredy in his hert.
28 Mas eu lhes digo: qualquer que olhar para uma mulher para desejá-la, já cometeu adultério com ela no seu coração.
29 Wherfore yf thy right eye offende ye plucke hym out, and caste him from the. Better it is for the that one of thy membres perisshe then that thy hole bodye shuld be cast into hell.
29 Se o seu olho direito o fizer pecar, arranque-o e lance-o fora. É melhor perder uma parte do seu corpo do que ser todo ele lançado no inferno.
30 Also if thy right honde offend the cut hym of and caste hym from the. Better that ys that one of thy membres perisshe then that all thy body shulde be caste in to hell.
30 E se a sua mão direita o fizer pecar, corte-a e lance-a fora. É melhor perder uma parte do seu corpo do que ir todo ele para o inferno".
31 It ys sayd, whosoever put awaye his wyfe let hym geve her a testymonyall also of the devorcement.
31 "Foi dito: ‘Aquele que se divorciar de sua mulher deverá dar-lhe certidão de divórcio’.
32 But I say vnto you: whosoever put awaye his wyfe, (except it be for fornicacion), causeth her to breake matrymony. And whosoever maryeth her that is devorsed breaketh wedlocke.
32 Mas eu lhes digo que todo aquele que se divorciar de sua mulher, exceto por imoralidade sexual, faz que ela se torne adúltera, e quem se casar com a mulher divorciada estará cometendo adultério".
33 Agayne ye haue hearde how it was sayd to the of olde tyme thou shalt not forsuere thy selfe but shalt performe thyne othe to God.
33 "Vocês também ouviram o que foi dito aos seus antepassados: ‘Não jure falsamente, mas cumpra os juramentos que você fez diante do Senhor’.
34 But I saye vnto you swere not at all nether by heue for it ys Goddes seate:
34 Mas eu lhes digo: Não jurem de forma alguma: nem pelo céu, porque é o trono de Deus;
35 nor yet by the erth for it is his fote stole: nether by Ierusalem for it ys the cyte of that greate kynge:
35 nem pela terra, porque é o estrado de seus pés; nem por Jerusalém, porque é a cidade do grande Rei.
36 nether shalt thou sweare by thy heed because thou canst not make one white heer or blacke:
36 E não jure pela sua cabeça, pois você não pode tornar branco ou preto nem um fio de cabelo.
37 But your communicacion shalbe ye ye: nay nay. For whatsoeuer is more then that cometh of yvell.
37 Seja o seu ‘sim’, ‘sim’, e o seu ‘não’, ‘não’; o que passar disso vem do Maligno".
38 ye have hearde how it ys sayd an eye for an eye: a tothe for a tothe.
38 "Vocês ouviram o que foi dito: ‘Olho por olho e dente por dente’.
39 But I saye to you that ye resist not wronge. But whosoever geve the a blowe on thy right cheke tourne to him the other.
39 Mas eu lhes digo: Não resistam ao perverso. Se alguém o ferir na face direita, ofereça-lhe também a outra.
40 And yf eny man will sue the at the lawe and take awaye thy coote let hym have thy cloocke also.
40 E se alguém quiser processá-lo e tirar-lhe a túnica, deixe que leve também a capa.
41 And whosoever wyll compell the to goo a myle goo wyth him twayne.
41 Se alguém o forçar a caminhar com ele uma milha, vá com ele duas.
42 Geve to him that axeth and from him that wolde borowe tourne not awaye.
42 Dê a quem lhe pede, e não volte as costas àquele que deseja pedir-lhe algo emprestado".
43 ye have hearde how it is sayde: thou shalt love thyne neghbour and hate thine enimy.
43 "Vocês ouviram o que foi dito: ‘Ame o seu próximo e odeie o seu inimigo’.
44 But I saye vnto you love youre enimies. Blesse the that coursse you. Do good to them that hate you. Praye for them which doo you wronge and persecute you
44 Mas eu lhes digo: Amem os seus inimigos e orem por aqueles que os perseguem,
45 that ye maye be the chyldern of youre father that is in heauen: for he maketh his sunne to aryse on the yvell and on the good and sendeth his reyn on the iuste and vniuste.
45 para que vocês venham a ser filhos de seu Pai que está nos céus. Porque ele faz raiar o seu sol sobre maus e bons e derrama chuva sobre justos e injustos.
46 For yf ye love them which love you: what rewarde shall ye have? Doo not the Publicans euen so?
46 Se vocês amarem aqueles que os amam, que recompensa receberão? Até os publicanos fazem isso!
47 And yf ye be frendly to youre brethren onlye: what singuler thynge doo ye?
47 E se vocês saudarem apenas os seus irmãos, o que estarão fazendo de mais? Até os pagãos fazem isso!
48 Do not the Publicans lyke wyse? ye shall therfore be perfecte even as youre father which is in heauen is perfecte.
48 Portanto, sejam perfeitos como perfeito é o Pai celestial de vocês".
